OOC: Here is our thread, Barronia. If you have the names of the children, please telegram me and I'll edit the opening post. Other nations are able to post messages of congratulations, send gifts, etc.

Skamania and Duloc (AP): Prince Sebastien has announced that his wife, Chancelloress Santina, has given birth to healthy twins at a Barronian hospital today. The parents of the Prince: King Louis II and Queen Henriette have sent several gifts including stuffed animals, a customized crib and a diamond necklace for Claire. Citizens in Skamania and Duloc send their best wishes to Santina and Sebastien. Sebastien, in an interview, has said that he loves both children dearly and that he will "treasure them; I will be a good father to them."

The children have been sent to live with their parents and so far there have been no reports of health problems; a nanny said to reporters that the children act normally and that they are "feisty little treasures; they are full of life."

It is rumored that the children will be included in the Line of Succession to the throne of Skamania and Duloc but there has been no reports confirming the reports as truth. Sebastien is himself the third in line; as the eldest child of King Louis II; Prince (Dauphin) Louis is the current heir.

Birth of Royal Children Announced; Chancelloress Said to be "Stable, Recovering Well"

Barronia was in a state of utmost celebration this evening as the birth of twins was delivered and recorded by the Chartered Doctor of The Magisterium, Doctor Ilya Bhurkov.

Both children, a boy and a girl, are recorded as being 5lb 7oz, and 4lb 2oz, and are said to be doing "excellently, developing as required and all-round healthy babies".

At this point, the Magisterium has released details of the names of the children - Claire Henriette Santina Alicia Stephanie Christine Bourbon-Clearwater-Kane, and Felix Daniel Charles David Sebastien Louis Bourbon-Clearwater-Kane.

The children are named after various members of royal families and influential political figures, including Henriette, Queen of Skamania & Duloc; Santina, after her mother; and Christine, after Christine Friedrich, Secretary-General of UFAN.

For Felix, names include Daniel, after his late grandfather and Daniel Pearce of Vetaka; Charles David after the Steward of Wagdog; Sebastien after his father and Louis for his grandfather, King of Skamania & Duloc.
