Background

UNNA was founded in 1975 by Sir Dexter Sullivan, an inventor, in Hydria, capital of Ustio North, and was immediately contracted to research weapons, gadgets and armour for the Ustian Government. It's first success was the AIM-4 Viper Air-to-Air missile, which is now about to be superceded by the AIM-5 Cobra AAM. Other weapons that are about to be introduced to the UNM are the U-40 Scouthawk, a two-seat surveillance aircraft which makes extensive use of hover technology, the W-22 Phoenix, an armed three seat jeep, and the M-19 light tank, all of which will be added to the store in the coming weeks. UNNA now operates inside of B7R, using the massive Omega Factory built in 2000 to commemerate 25 years of UNNA, to research and build its projects. It currently employs over 5,000 people.

Current Projects

UNNA has two aircraft that were in the running for the Ustian Government: The U-40 Scouthawk, and the F/A-41 Nemesis. Although the U-40 was originally conceived as a fast surveillance craft, initial tests found that the Nemesis' design was not strong enough to withstand serious punishment from ground or air attack. The U-40, however, was found to be much more resiliant when under heavy fire. UNNA is currently designing an auto-tracking chaingun system to be fitted to the U-40, likely to be similar to the version fitted to the Nemesis. The F/A-41 will still be on sale very soon, but has been turned down by the Ustian Government for the more resiliant U-40, which is currently being converted into several versions using equipment which will be available very soon.
