Zansk Occupational Council, New Paramus, Capital of Tur Kalavar

Janinka and Falan sat in their Golf GTi, just round the corner, but in view, from the Zansk Occupational Council, watching the time.
"And what brings you to join the North Calaveran Kanhucha Provincial Militia? (KPM)" Said Janinka.
"Why does it matter?" Snapped Falan, giving Janinka a dirty look.
"Because We'll Probably be dead soon anyway. We have ten minutes, may as well spill the beans now." replied Janinka, calmly.
Falan sighed as he observed thirty-odd Zansk soldiers pacing up and down outside the Council. He Spoke.

"My mother was killed by the communist guerillas that appeared at the beginning of the North Calaveran tragedy- For not hoisting up the red flag. My brother was murdered by a Zansk recruiter for calling Zansk premier Azani a big poof. Not that I'm homophobic or anything. My father joined a Calaveran defence militia and was killed by Zansk Settlers. Now its me and my sister."
"Pretty fucking tough story you have there. Trust me, the KPM will win over these hook-nosed Imperialist Zansk. We will win," Said Janinka, looking at his watch, "My my, it's ten fifty five already. better say your prayers, and lets do this."

They drove the car up the hill from the Occupational council, then took the brakes off and jumped out. Janinka held a remote in his hand.
The car began to roll down the hill, and it cought the attention of the Zansk soldiers. They started to run after it as it went past them.
Janinka pressed the remote.

"Today two militiamen blew up a car nekt to the Zansk occupational council, killing some twenty soldiers. In the firefight that ensued, more militiamen came out of apparent hiding spots and joined in the fighting. It seems there were up to ten militiamen.

Fighting then insued inside the main lobby, and thirty civillians and another two soldiers were killed. Sixty Zansk soldiers then arrived, and killed the remaining guerillas, but seven of their own died too.

We have a video from the most likely culprit, the North Calaveran Kanhucha Provincial Militia, which stands for the return of Tur Kalavar to North Calaveras as the Kanhucha Province. Here it is."

A man, with a hoodie up and a scarf wrapped round his forehead and mouth, was on camera. He started to speak.
"I am Karan Azamitz, new governer of the North Calaveran province of Kanhucha, which you Zansk have taken from us.
At a moment of weakness, in civil war, you took advantage and invaded. You exerted yourself.

Made a new capital named after the maiden city of your president.

Allowed your own people to immigrate and settle here, so you could eventually annex our land.

Well, we have twenty thousand men behind us- young boys, old men, women... Muslims... Christians... Capitalists... Communists... Everyone is here.

We also request that any states recognising us, as a province of North Calaveras, please say so.

We hereby claim to be part of North Calaveras, in a national militia dedicated to kicking out these Zansk rebels.

The Dominion of Emperor Pudu XLII hereby recognizes the Kanhucha Province, formerly the unlawful colony of the Zanski imperialists, as part of the sovereign nation of North Calaveras.

The aggressive, unwarranted, action that led to the Zansk occupation is a terrible example of the exploitation that is common practice to the Zanski people, and the Dominion will not allow their actions to continue.

The Kanhucha Province is recognized as a part of North Calaveras, and the Dominion hereby also extends a guarantee of independence to the province, and North Calaveras as a whole, until such a time as this matter is settled. Therefore, any action against the province will be regarded as an act of war against the Dominion itself.

Mr. White smiled as he completed his message, and looked across the room to the only other occupant of the room, Fleet Admiral Persha.

“Is your fleet prepared to move?”

“Yes, of course. We can leave port at a moments notice, should you wish it.”

“It may be required that you do, Zanski will likely move forward with whatever that have planned for their rebellious colony, and your intervention will be necessary.”

“That is why I am here, sir.”

At that moment, the pair were joined by a third man, the counterpart of Mr. White, who himself was the foreign affairs officer. This third man was Mr. Grey, the foreign relations officer. The two officials had nearly identical portfolios, and were thusly always in a state of disagreement as to whose responsibility fell where. The current status quo maintained that hands-on diplomacy and foreign intelligence operations were the province of Mr. Grey, while government policy and opinions were decided and acted upon by Mr. White.

With the near divine detachment of their Emperor to the everyday actions and even major decisions, it was effectively these two men who ran the Dominion.

Mr. Grey did not excuse himself for his obtuse entrance, “White,” he demanded, “What is this about the Zansk colony I’ve heard you spouting about?”

Mr. White replied, calmly, “I’ve taken the liberty of acting to better the interests of our Dominion.” His innocent tone did not calm his counterpart.

“You’ve very nearly declared war,”

“The People’s Union of Zanski is an enemy of the Dominion, and has been, for years. I acted to destabilize an enemy nation.”

“You do not have authority over the Imperial Armed Forces, who do you intend to fight your new war with?”

This was a delicate subject, in the presence, as they were, of an Imperial Naval officer. That is, Mr. White did have a force with which he could fight, his own Imperial Janissary Corps, established without the knowledge of the Emperor, or, indeed, anyone else in the Dominion. Mr. Grey had recently come into knowledge of this force, and this frightened him enough to create his own paramilitary force out of his own – legal – network of operatives, the Frumentarii.

“I have the authority of the Emperor,” came White’s reply.

“He’s authorized this, then?” was the question, asked knowingly.

“The Emperor endorses every action of his subordinates enacted in the betterment of our Dominion.”

“Every action…” Mr. Grey taunted.

Mr. White changed the subject, “It is the Imperial Navy and Army that will engage the Dominion’s foes here, there is nothing questionable about that. Your own Frumentarii, even, could be of use.”

“I would not give over a single man to your command, White.”

“You need not, Grey. Move your own men, have them gather the intelligence we need. Troop movements, numbers, technology employed. You could even blow up a road or two, if it’ll make you feel better…”

Mr. Grey was silent, as he turned to leave. “You had better watch yourself, Mr. White, remember your place here. Remember who your Emperor is…”

Greal bases in North Calaveras are on full alert. The Imperial Dictatorship of Greal recognizes the Kanhucha Province as a part of North Calaveras.

Zanski urges all nations to sit tight, as we will restart the stunted reunification process as soon as this civil war is over, and wish to recruit the KPM as a member of the party and a legitimate ruler for Tur Kalavar should the process fail.
However, we are imposing a curfew over Tur Kalavar including the Zansk villages/settlements and will arrest or kill anybody without an army escort on sight. We are preparing to move in an extra 40,000 soldiers in to the Central Kanhucha province of Tur Kalavar.

We will, also, review the legitimacy of the settlers once all attacking nations have recalled their armies.

This is a promise.

The head of the Zansk Occupational Council, General Futaye, has, without mainland Zanski permission, expressed his support for the Zansk Kalavar settlers and has organised 20,000 of the 60,000 troops in TK to indescriminately kill Calaverans.
The Zansk courts today ruled that should Futaye not back down, he is elegible for death penalty/assassination.

And in the interests of your people, I am willing to contract out the 4th and 5th Talon groups to you nation to begin Anti-Insurgent sweeps and to dissolve any and all protests within the area.

While the Freehold wishes to express Neutrality in this issue at present, We must exercise our authority as Protector state to North Calaveras. As such, a Marine Division with associated naval elements is currently en route to the Kanhucha Province to act as a peace keeping force to maintain Calaveras interests while a political solution is sought. Any use of force against Calaveras Citizens will be met with a full military reprisal.

We urge all involved to seek a cease fire as soon as possible and hope that this situation can be resolved without further use of force.

National Zansk News Channel:Tur Kalavar

The NPZC (New Paramus Zansk Coalition) has shocked citizens of all ethnic backgrounds by publicly hanging 40 Calaverans in the Zansk quarter of T'skanderya, the hq of the KPM. A further 100 were killed in pogroms all over the country. But this is no match for the anti-Kalavar pogroms that have killed more than 300 Zansk.

The NZNC:TK hereby recognises all Zansk Kalavars as the sole owners of what was formerly Kanhucha, and what is now Tur Kalavar- we shall be the majority if current trends continue, and by god, we shall rule.
