Creation - Part I

In the beginning of time there was nothing. In fact this was before there was even time. There was only Kahos. Kahos still exists but not in a form that it once did. It was once the only thing in existence and enjoyed this for some time. Actually, it enjoyed this until Time. Eventually Kahos did become bored with being the only thing in existence. It did the only thing it could in order to become less bored. It created Venus and with Venus it created time, for Venus was the Godof Time which earned it the title of Venus the Timely.

Kahos enjoyed being master of Venus for some time since now time had begun. Of course, as it always does, Kahos got bored of ordering Venus to speed up time and slow it down. Reverse it or make it go sideways. Kahos still couldn't do anything though because the only thing that existed besides himself was Time. So it created Vesta, God of Land. With Vesta came Land, and therefore the planets. All the planets in existence came into being.

This of course earned Vesta the title of Vesta the Solid. Now the universe as we know it was coming into being and Kahos was able to have its fun. It may destroy a planet only to have Venus reverse time to make it whole again. Kahos had fun like this for a good long time. It was sometimes too dark to see however and so it created another God. It was hard to know what to create afterall, how can you create something out of thin air when all you have is land, space and time?

Kahos came up with something however, and what he came up with was light. He created the third God, Apollo, the God of Light which gave him the title Apollo the Light. Not very creative but Kahos was getting tired of thinking of creative names for his creations. They could now see eachother and they could see the planets and they could see that it was incomplete. Kahos however didn't care that it seemed incomplete. He had his fun turning Apollo on and off. Apollo didn't like Kahos ordering it around like this and so it decided to create something itself.

It created the stars including our own. By doing this Apollo made sure that everything would always be able to see. Everything that had eyes that is. For with the stars Apollo gave the other Gods eyes so that they may see properly. For without eyes their vision was blurry and unfocused. They couldn't see colour nor depth. They could only identify light and the planets it illuminated and the nothingness it could not and the beings it didn't effect as it should have.

Kahos was angry with Apollo for creating the stars though. It was angry that Apollo had done something without asking Kahos first. Kahos decided to create something to rival Apollo. Something which could imitate Apollo but which had other properties too. Properties to harm and to do more than only Apollo could. Apollo had in fact given Kahos the idea. While the stars gave off light, Kahos decided to modify them in order to make them embodiements of Vulcan, his newest creation instead.

Vulcan was the God of Fire. Fire gave off light but it also gave off heat and would hurt anything which came near it. It would give them a mark which would heal over time. Kahos decided to name this mark a burn and to give Vulcan the title Vulcan the Fiery. Vulcan was ordered by Kahos to turn the stars from light to fire. Vulcan did but it wanted to gain something out of it. So Vulcan asked if Kahos could create a companion for it. Kahos agreed and Vulcan turned the stars to fire.

Kahos created Minerva for Vulcan. Minerva was God of Reason and would help to foil Vulcan when he got angry for Vulcan's anger could lead him to set a whole planet on fire. Venus would then reverse time to stop it from happening in the first time but this was proving to be quite ineffective. So Minerva the Reasonable became Vulcan's companion and helped to counter his great temper when and if it got out of hand.

Kahos, having gained what he had intended by creating Vulcan and then Minerva deicded to create yet another being. The Gods were becoming larger and larger in number and he needed to correspond with all of them in order to have effective control. To solve this problem he created Mercury, the God of Messaging. Kahos could now use Mercury as a messenger between Kahos and the other Gods. Mercury, like the other Gods needed a title and so Kahos bestwoed upon him Mercury the Messenger.

Only by bestowing a title did Kahos realize he had neglected to give itself a proper title. He was God of Nothingness but being Kahos the Nothing would sound insulting. He decided to go with Kahos the Chaotic in order to sound wild, unpredictable and to be feared. This didn't have much of an effect on the other Gods for they did not know what Chaos was in the first place. So he decided to make himself God of Nothingness and Chaos.

Creation - Part II

Now Kahos had Venus, Vesta, Apollo, Vulcan, Minerva and Mercury. It liked these six Gods but as always it got bored with them. It wanted to be able to quantify how much better he was than the beings he had created. It wanted to be able to say, "Haha other beings, look at me I am so much better than you because..." and give a good reason why he was so much better than them. Kahos decided to create another immortal being. And so, Juno the God of Wealth came into being with the title, Juno the Wealthy.

Kahos wanted the wealth for itself and asked for it from Juno. Juno, being a greedy and stingy God refused. This made Kahos very upset with Juno for Kahos was the creator of all things and if it could not have wealth it refused to let any other being have wealth. Juno had the wealth though and it was impossible to take it away from the God of Wealth. Kahos needed to come up with a plan.

Kahos decided that it was going to create Diana the God of hunting in order to hunt down Juno and capture her. Diana the Hunter as it was called was told by Kahos to hunt down Juno in order for Kahos to imprison Juno and stop wealth from being as much as Kahos could. Kahos did not think of asking Venus to turn back time for it and so the chase was on. Juno ran through the universe trying to escape Diana.

The other Gods decided to go against Kahos and hide Juno from Diana. It was hard to hide such a being from Diana as Diana was a hunter and therefore could find her quarry in nearly anything. Juno decided to turn into a coin. A coin was a symbol of wealth from then on and it was small enough that even if Diana could get into a star where the coin was hidden it would take too long for Diana to find Juno.

Diana could not find Juno and told Kahos of this. This made Kahos upset at the other Gods and this also made it realize that Kahos needed another God to control the other Gods which were growing in number. Kahos could not realize that creating so many Gods could be the source of the problem for if it had never created any of the Gods then it would still be bored and so it was inevitable that Kahos created other beings. It was also inevitable that this would be his downfall.

Kahos created Jupiter, King of Gods. He gave Jupiter the title of Jupiter the Kingly although Jupiter did not see the purpose for a title as there were no other beings, instead prefering to be called just Jupiter. Kahos gave Jupiter the power to create anything Jupiter wished. Kahos forgot that that meant Jupiter could create more Gods. This oversight was another mistake which Kahos made but not only did Kahos need another God to control the Gods he had created, he needed a rival.

Kahos also thought that there wasn't possibly any other kind of God which could be created and that the 9 he had already come up with would be sufficient. Jupiter proceeded to ask Juno to come out of hiding, promising to protect the God from Kahos. Juno complied and thought that Jupiter needed great wealth in order to protect it. That is how Jupiter gained his wealth. Juno also gave wealth to the other Gods, save Kahos for his demanding and mean-spirited nature.

Jupiter picked a planet. It picked a planet for it wanted to have mortal beings which could worship and praise the immortal beings and ask favours and see what they may do even if their lives, in the end amount to nothing. It pleased Jupiter to create two types of these beings to see what they would do. It amused Juno also and Vulcan too. Juno gave the mortals wealth and Vulcan gave them fire. They did not know what to do with these things so Minerva gave them reason.

Jupiter created Ceres, God of Farming given the title Ceres the Farmer. The mortal beings amused Ceres and so Ceres gave them agriculture and with that, food and other mortal beings, lacking a freedom to move which Ceres called 'plants'. The mortal beings fought among themselves for food, fire and wealth and Jupiter decided to create another God so that the God could give them a more intense form of fighting and a proper name for it.

Mars, God of War, or Mars the Warlord then came into being. Mars gave these mortal creatures War and they started to become aware of the beings around them. The Gods knew that they needed to reveal their names to these beings or else the worship couldn't be carried out properly. The Gods gave the mortal beings prophets which allowed the Gods to communicate to the mortals. The mortals began building shrines to these immense beings and appointing some beings to lead the worship.

Apollo watched too, and so did Venus, Vesta and Mercury. They conveyed the stories of their creation to these mortals through the prophets and that was how this text was written. Kahos soon noticed that there were 11 Gods and all 11 were watching the mortal beings, toying with them. This made Kahos very angry and so he created Neptune, God of the Sea with the title Neptune the Sea. Neptune created bodies of ammonia on the planet which the mortals lived.

Neptune created rivers and lakes and oceans and gulfs and bays and peninsulas. Neptune too joined in watching the mortals and was amused by them as well. Neptune could give them a drought or a flood and it amused Neptune. Juno gave the new Gods, Neptune, Ceres and Mars welath as well. The Gods would recieve prayers daily and some were answered while others were not.

And this is the story of the Creation of the Universe.

War

Now that Kahos had found out about all of its and Jupiter's godly creations paying attention to their own little shared minions Kahos was very mad. It could not stand that it had been betrayed by its own creations and the godly creations of its creation. Kahos decided to introduce himself through a prophet to the mortals. The mortals did not know what they could pray for to a God of Chaos and Nothingness though so Kahos never got one prayer.

Jealousy took over Kahos who created a bunch of Gods of evil things which Jupiter had condemned as sins to the mortal beings. That these Gods got no prayers made Kahos even more upset and so he decided to wage war on the Twelve Gods. This was a deadly and horrible conflict which stopped the appearances of prophets for the Gods were the ones who were sending the messages through the prophets.

All the Gods fought to banish Kahos and his evil Gods. A battle raged on throughout the universe with battle cries being heard throughout the solar systems. Jupiter created a large blade of steel as did Kahos and they battled it out looking to see who would become the true King of the Gods. They were evenly matched for sometime and it wasn't until Kahos cut Jupiter that the battle started to become one-sided.

Jupiter, still injured, fought back with all his Godly might and landed a blow on Kahos. Kahos was almost injured. Jupiter was relentless and followed up with another strike and then another strike. Kahos was very tired but thought that he would never tiure before Jupiter, thinking arrogantly that Jupiter must be twice as tired as it. Jupiter was nowhere near as tired as Kahos but Kahos was too arrogant for his own good.

Jupiter delivered another strike which puzzled Kahos who thought that there was no way Jupiter could land another strike and overtake him. Kahos was deadly wrong and it costed him his masterhood of the Gods. Kahos landed one more blow on Jupiter however before Jupiter could find the strength and necessary drama to finish off the creator of almost all thing immortal. The strike was delivered and there was cheering throughout the universe by the Gods.

The mortal beings had not had any prayers answered for the time while the Gods were warring. The Prophet Q'mm'gs was the last prophet who had spoken for the Gods and the mortals did what they did best to who they blamed for 'losing the favour' of the Gods, war. There were some who did not believe it was Qemmegs's fault, blaming another prophet, the Prophet Xsjihgiam who had spoken for Kahos, for the 'losing of the favour' of the Gods. A great war ensued and both of the prophets who were being blamed by different sets of people ended up dead.

Their deaths happened to coincide with the battle of Jupiter & Kahos and the prayers were answered once more. The two prophets were greeted into the new realm of Kahos, Sepp, which was the place for all bad mortals to go once they greeted death. Mercury was then on sent to bring the dead to their resting place for all eternity, as it was the messenger God after all. In Seafen, the place for all good mortals, Jupiter would greet the dead soul. In Sepp, Kahos would be awaiting at the gates.

And that was how there were two wars and how Seafen and Sepp were created.

W\m:'p

There once was a very devout mortal who lived in the north-east of Aplsaomew, the planet Jupiter had picked to house the mortals he had created. The mortal's name was Wamiep and his holy adventures are as follows. He worked for Jupiter and prayed to Jupiter and Juno blessed him, as did Minerva. When he was welcomed into Seafen he was blessed by the other 9 Gods, Mars, Mercury, Apollo, Vulcan, Venus, Vesta, Neptune, Ceres and Diana.

Wamiep was born and lived in a small town on Aplsomew as a lowly farmer. Jupiter was very important to him and it is for this reason that he was honoured in this fashion. Wamiep rarely sinned and it had the standard two children when it died. Wamiep lived a very full 76 years of life and it is in that time that these events occur. The hardships Wamiep faced are a reminder that the Gods will test us to see how strong we are.

When Wamiep was 10 its father decided to teach it the value of hard work. Wamiep worked in its fathers fields for three years, being paid but a quarter of an As a week. Wamiep was very obedient and Jupiter saw this and thought that it was good that Wamiep learned not to give up and that some job is better than no job. Wamiep thought that his father was exploiting him but he didn't know exploitation.

There was a slave who lived across the dirt road from Wamiep and Wamiep became friends with the slave one afternoon. They were both workin the field near the dirt road. Wamiep was praying to Ceres as it did so while the slave did not. Curious, the slave asked what Wamiep was doing. "I'm praying to Ceres to help me have a good harvest," came Wamiep's reply. "Why?" was the slave's quick repsponse. "So that I recieve my 1/4 As an hour." "Wow! You get 1/4 As an hour? I don't get paid at all."

That night Wamiep prayed to Jupiter to help free the slave. Jupiter, who had not known that the mortals practised slavery answered the prayer. The next day, the slave from across the dirt road ran towards Wamiep, "I'm free!" "Really?" asled Wamiep. "Yes, I am. I can finally make an honest day's wage!" came the happy reply. Wamiep didn't mention his prayer to the slave and just smiled as he watched the slave merrily travel to market.

When Wamiep was 35 he waa having a great harvest. Ceres had answered all his prayers and he was praying to Juno to keep his wealth. But one day as he was going into market he noticed a poor beggar asking for some money. Wamiep knew his prayer would not be answered by Juno if he did something contrary to his prayer but he also knew that helping the poor was a kind thing to do. Wamiep decided to give the beggar a denarius and be on his way.

Wamiep did not keep his riches as he knew he wouldn't but he was given more wealth later, when he was 45. He was given a gold necklace by a stranger one afternoon. The stranger was fleeing from some soldiers and knew that the necklace would be taken by the soldiers anyways. Wamiep did not keep the necklace and ignore it. Instead it looked through the archives for prisoners arrested the date he was given the necklace.

Wamiep searched through the two and a half dozen arrested persons that day, most of them found innocent. It went to those who were found innocent first, hoping that he could just return the necklace. Punishment by Juno to any who lied would have been quick and painful should one of the arrested persons lie which is how Wamiep returned the necklace back to its rightful owner.

And those are the stories of Wamiep.

Laws

Jupiter saw that the mortals were creating their own rules. This did not please the God for Minerva was the God of Reason and would have the best rules for the mortals. He too had his own rules and he gave them to the Prophet N\ggs'd who gave them to the mortals. They were a few simple laws:

1. You shall only worship myself, Jupiter, and my fellow Gods; Minerva, Apollo, Mars, Mercury, Vesta, Venus, Neptune, Ceres, Vulcan, Juno and Diana
2. You shall honour and respect those who hold authority
3. You shall not murder
4. You shall not steal
5. You shall not bear false witness

13. You shall have sporting competitions to crown champions and Wizap shall be the sport most honoured in this way.
14. You shall not destroy the property of another.
15. You shall popularly elect your leaders.

Minerva knew that the mortals could not keep themselves from breaking the 15 laws and so through N\ggs'd it lay down the consequences for breaking them.

1. Those who worship another God shall be excommunicated.
2. Those who disrespect those in authority shall be fined.
3. Those who murder shall be stoned should they be a citizen of the land they murdered in. Should they be a foreigner, they shall be crucified.
4. Those who steal must return the stolen property and pay once its value. When the property cannot be retrieved they shall pay thrice its value.

8. Those who do not divide their estates eqully between their descendants will have their property sold and all the profit split equally between the descendants.
9. Those who do not keep the religion separate from the government shall be excommunicated and exiled.
10. Those who sell lent property shall pay five times its value, plus what the lentee received for the property, to the lender.
11. Those who assault shall pay for medical care and be fined.

15. Those who come to power through unelected means shall be exiled.
16. Those who cannot pay a fine shall be exiled until the fine is payed.

Minerva and Jupiter read over these laws and saw that they were good.
