Destrudo Clan-Leader stood upon Warhaven's newest Warhsip, rather, he stood upon its bridge, the Aquamarinians and humans working , scurrying about like ants. He smilled, he liked the name, The Magekiller. He was on a mission, and he revelled in its purpose, to unite the shadows within the darkness.

The ship itsel resembled a giant arrowhead, and so resembled a star Destroyer, but was sleeker, more narrow, and in the opinions of the priests and scientists who made it, more deadly.

As it flew on in the absolute darkness of The Void, Destrudo Clan-Leader could hear the whisperings of his diety, toying with his children, toying with the ship. Monsters and creatures that dwelled naturally within The Void chased after the ship, even as The Void itself twisted according to the minds of those on the ship.

Before them, a point of light flared into being, and they flew into it.

In normal space, beyond the Five Worlds System belonging to The Ministry of Shadow, a great anomally ripped into being out of nowhere, golden white light poured from it, even as it sounded like continuosly rolling thunder, even as the sounds of millions of church bels tolled in the distance. A great black circle opened in the center, absorbing all the ambient energy of the area, and even all solid objects into it, as though it were a black hole. It closed quickly, leaving behind The Magekiller.

The Magekiller flew quietly through space, flickering in and out of being, as though it were a bad projection hologram.

Onboard, the members of the Warhaven Armed forces sat in readyness, some hoping to see action, some hoping peace held through this day.

The ship stopped in the middle of The Five Worlds System, and broadcast a message.

"In the name of The Darkness that consumes, The entities known as The Ministry of Shadow are henceforth commanded to return to The Void."

The words were spoken by Destrudo Clan-leader, and he sat back smiling, waiting for his answer.

"In the name of The Darkness that consumes, The entities known as The Ministry of Shadow are henceforth commanded to return to The Void."

Deep within a secret room in the capitol building...

"Ladies and gentlemen this is the worst possible outcome we could've possibly predicted, if The Ministry merges with Warhaven, then, well, lets just face facts, we're doomed. There is no way even with our fullest might we could combat the armed forces of Warhaven. Let's just try to surrender peacefully." Said an old general that had in truth never seen a single battle.

Meanwhile, Shadowlord, leader of the famous band The Ministry of Shadow was furious.

"Who is he to make any demands on us? We are the ones to make demands. Shadowpuppets, get them!" Shadowlord said.

"No!" said voices from the shadows.

They filled the communications room with darkness and in turn sent their own message.

"Hello Darkness my old friend, its nice to talk to you again.
I'm afraid we can't comply with your wishes, I mean, how would that look if we just knuckled under and let you rule us? No, we are an indepandant nation now, we will not bow to Father Darkness." The voice of the Ministry of Shadow said.

"It wasn't a request. Make no mistake, We can wipe you out completly and bend you to our will if we so desire, and we wouldn't even break a sweat." Destrudo Clan-Leader said.

He snapped his fingers, immediatly the tactical stations powered up the weapons systems.

"Now, we can get in at least one devastating shot directly on the planetary surface, as much as we don't want to. Return to The void like you were commanded to, or we will call our brothers at arms, and we will end you." Destrudo Clan-Leader said.

"Would you really be so cruel, as to fire upon your own brethren?" Asked the Ministry calling Destrudo's Bluff.

"Target the most densly populated area you can find, and fire a large rather devastating bomb at it." Destrudo said.
"Yessir, that would be the K bomb mark one, on a planetary surface it has an impact large enough to match the Tsar Bomba" the tactics officer said as he fired.
"I didn't ask for a lesson just that you fire." Destrudo said.

"Yes, yes I would." he said a moment later over communications to The Ministry, then he sent a long range hail back to Warhaven, requesting back-up.


SIC:
The troops backed up against the wall as he boarded. No one dared get in his way. They heard the Flagship was going to go with the fleet, but no one thought he would be on it.

As The Void Nexus opened before the fleets, laughter could be heard echoing The Void. Clearly someone was amused by watching violence.

As Larry sat in the Cafe with his girlfriend, Helen, he struggled to find the words to express his feelings.
"Helen," he said, nervous and sweaty " You know I love you dearly, and I, I" he said, pausing to find the words, words he never found, for poor Larry never was a lucky man, and at that moment, he happened to be right at the exact spot The K bomb hit the ground. As it exploded, people all over The city of Neo-Yorkus ran screaming, trying to get away, away from a fate they couldn't escape.

All that was left, was ashes.

"If that's the way you want to do things, then it shall be War to the Death." The Ministry said, as its ships converged on The Magekiller, they took aim, and fired at the ship, each one firing their energy weapons.

Destrudo simply stood there, and smiled. As the shots came, most of them simply flew through the ship without injuring it in any fashion. Others hit various parts of the ship that phased in at the wrong moment in time, and one hit the interior of the ship without even damaging the outside. thank goodness they weren't in essential areas. Not to say they weren't but life support and the engines still functioned, however weapons had been mostly knocked out. No more K bombs. The launcher had been destroyed.

The Magekiller hit back with its own energy weapons, a loose mix of Phasers, Turbo Lasers, and a the V Ray, developed by Warhaven scientists, it used the powers of Entropy to sap the power of enemy engines, thus draining their powers, and which was more important, life, or weapons?

The Magekiller fired in rapid succession at each of the ships within range.

Captain Voldrof stood on the bridge of the Shadowmaster, The Ministry's foremost ship. His eyes widened in surprise when the shots of his ship and those of his fellow captains just sailed through the monstrosity before him, then it shot back, and the lights dimmed considerably.

"Captain, Engines down to 70% capacity!" called out the ensign from his station.

Captain Voldrof gripped his chair, how was he supposed to fight something that couldn't be touched, that could take his own energy reserves? To be sure, the captain was a loyal man, but he wondered what the point was in fighting. Clearly they were going to lose if this thing had friends waiting in the wings.

Still, the ships returned fire yet again. Captain Voldrof thought back to the previous rounds. He needed to see another shot, he had an idea.

Destrudo sighed, this was getting boring, fast.

"Ready the mass teleporter, and beam troops to the worlds below. They are to take the life of every Man, Woman, and child they run accross, give no quater. There will be no debate, no discussion, only death." Destrudo said.

As the majority of engine output was directed to the Mass Teleporter, a special Teleporter capable of teleporting large numbers of troops at once, the ship stopped phasing in and out of being, as the area of effect that caused this diminished solely to the engines themselves. As such, the Magekiller was fully vulnerable, and took every single shot that hit her, except for the few strays that missed.

The Mass Teleporter teleported the troops right as the shots hit, so it only slightly malfunctioned, however, they were sent to a large city other than where The K bomb was sent.

There were tenthousand total, all of them members of The Legions of The Knights of Doom, and each Legionaire wore black powere armor, and carried Rifles capable of shooting a variety of energies. If that failed, they had their favorite Melee weapon belted at their side. Some carried Maces and morningstairs, others carried swords, still others carried spears and some carried clubs. They rode nothing, but moved quickly, and anything that was not of their own, died quickly, even the local wildlife.

As The Legions spread accross the surface the Shadowpuppets close to the city of Aromer on the world of Arom quickly scrambled to man the defense turrets. As the Legions got close, the Shadowpuppets took to shooting the legions. Their guns were faster than gatling guns, and shot mostly directed energy.

Captain Voldrof stroked his chin in thought.
"Why did they simply take it?" he wondered quietly to himself.
"Captain, report from the Capitol of Aromer, troops suddenly teleported in, and are killing everyone in sight." the ensign said from his station.
"Aha, I see. Clearly they used a powerful teleporter. Quick, before they can erect their mysterious shields again, shoot them down!" The Captain ordered, commanding the fleet he was in charge of to shoot.

Once again, the ships shot, unloading all they had.

Destrudo's heart fluttered in his chest as he saw the great salvo of shots coming his way.

"Evasive manuevers!" he shouted.

But The Magekiller wasn't that manuverable. As the engines accelerated back up to Distortion levels, the bridge where Destrudo was missed being hit by the narrowest of margins, but that didn't matter, as the engines got hit, and self-destructed, they imploded, sucking the ship into The Void, from which they drew power. However it didn't stop there the new Void Nexus expanded outward, trying to draw more into its maw, but as it expanded, it grew weaker, until finally, it disappated back into normal space.

Within The Void, Destrudo ejected in an escape pod. The escape pod in a Warhaven ship was designed to return to normal space as soon as possible, and Destrudo had hopes of joining the infantry on the surface, but to his surprise, it moved through the void, its other design feature coming into play.

Meanwhile, on the surface, The Legionaires shot back with their Phaser Rifles. The powersuits defended against what they could, but not even they were perfect, and so Legionaires began to fall here and there.
