Today in Altairan, tradgedy. The radical group called the Children of Danmar have gone terrorist and detonated a small bomb in the capitol building. Almost 1,000 people are dead or injured and other attacks may occer as we speak. The group is a radical environmentalist/anti-government organization that began in 2004. Since then they have used peacful protests and boycotts. The bombing was a stunning move in retaliation the election of former council member Adam Liosky as president. News will come as it happens.

We are sorry for your civilian lost.The Neo Federation of Megalithon is angered by this terrorist act. Our government would like to support the anti-radicals. However we will not send out any armed forces yet. We will watch the situation closely. If it worsens, you have our support. For now, we'll see what happens.

The National Council has met. The 15 delagates from the 15 territories/colonies the 5 upper councilmen and the President gathered in the Interim(temporary) National Hall due to the destruction of the Capitol Building. The vote went through and we are officially at war.

President Adam Liosky was recently attacked. The assassin, a member of the radical terrorist group Children of Danmar, attempted to shoot the president with a 22 volt laser sniper but missed and killed upper council member Berue Sedusky. The nations response is a funeral that attracted many. The assassin was interrogated and gave information on weapon caches befor activating a bomb hidden in his stomach. The damage to the police center was massive, detonating the thermal generator and destroying the building.

President Neil O'Conner was sitting in his office going through some of the day's paperwork when a knock on the door grabbed his attention.

"It's open," he responded.

Through the doorway, a man wearing a suit with a loose tie came in.

"Sir, you need to see this," It was one of his assistants. He grabbed a remote and turned on the TV. Then, he quickly changed the channel to the news. "Mr.President, it's about Altairan...they're at war..."

At first the President was shocked, he faced the assistant, "Hmm, I see. I knew it would come to this. Very well, set a meeting with the executive cabinet asap. We need to discuss this."

"Will do sir."

Executive Meeting Room, 5 hours later:

"With due all respect Mr.President...this is not our war," said Secretary of Defence Richard Zimmer.

"We have to help them. Help the innocent...the country. You're the one who keep saying that we must protect the lives of the innocent from terrorists," said High General Robert Paine to the president.

The Secretary, General and the other members looked at the president for an answer. The president was quiet. He had arranged the meeting to see what kind of views his cabinet have. He wanted who's against helping the Altairan and who wasn't. He thought for a moment.....Finally he looked around the table. Someone replied:

"Sir, if we help them, then we are also officially at war against the radicals in this country..."

President O'Conner: "If we ignore this situation, then we are no better than these radical terrorists. They commited a crime...a crime that hurt innocent civilians. If we ignore this, the situation may worsen. Not only this, the terrorists will also start gaining power and eventually will grow bigger. We can't let this happen. We have to send in help and provide support. It's for the good of Altairan, and our country."

The members around the table were satisfied with the president's comment. The President himself asked his assistant to write a letter to Altairan about the Federation's feelings on this war.

A small town south of the Capitol was destroyd by a bomb.

"I ask all other nations to give as much information on the radicals as possible. I am not asking for military help but it would be welcome"

Tanks roll down the street. A report of more death is shown on the t.v. then a deafening explosion rings out, the capitol is under attack. A force noone could think was the Radicals own army was pouring in on the capitol. Bombs and artillary go off every second. Plasma beams and bullets fire across streets. Poloticians are rushed out. The entire upper council save the President is killed. Finally the Adam Liosky gives the order to detonate all thermal reactors in Capitol city. Wiping out the radicals in a massive explosion.

The rebuilding of Capitol City has begun. 1 month after it's detonation the rubble and contamination has been cleaned. The new Upper Council has impeached Adam Leosky from presidency for activating the detonation. He has been elected delagate of the new 16th colony of Zartha.

President Adam Liosky's aide approached him with a telegram. "It appears it's from Tolstonia, sir", was his only justification of the telegram. It read:

Greetings President Liosky,

The nation of Tolstonia will aid you in fighting this rebellion. We are a smaller nation of only 12 million, however we have a substantially large military for our size. We will help in any reasonable way, and if it becomes necessary and we have the permission of your government, Tolstonian troops would be willing to set foot on your nation's soil to help rid you of this scourge.

Dear Sir,

We are deeply grieved at the sight of another terrorist group emerging. As such, I have given an order to send 30 Challenger tanks and 400 troops for peacekeeping purposes. A squadron of aircraft comprising of F117s, C-130s full of relief supplies and B2s will also be on the way to help. If there is more you need, kindly drop me a telegram.
