OOC- After seeing Cloverfield and playing the newest Resdent Evil game, I am really in the mood for a sci-fi thread. Any nations are welcome to participate either as the beast/beasts or nations trying to intervene. I don't really care what kind of monsters appear in this thread, so I have left the OP as open as possible.

3:32 A.M.- Sirens screamed past 124 Lionel Ave, disturbing the already troubled sleep of Corporal James Trevor of the NCPD. His radio crackled to life. "Unconfirmed reoprts... break in... pontential drunk and disorderly... violent attack... Pier 2... Avalable units to standby". Good, he thought, not his problem. As he was drifting back to sleep, an explosion rocked his building. "ATTENTION ALL NCPD OFFICERS! REPORT TO STATION AT ONCE! SITUATION CRITICAL!" James was out the door within five minutes.
NCPD, 4:02A.M.- Corporal Taylor stood in uniform with his comerades as their sergant briefed them on the situation. An inbound oil tanker had partially exploded. Its crew were horribly maimed, some still moving, all delerious and violent. One medical officer who had been bitten was suffering a high fever. Full riot gear was distributed as a security measure, as terrorism wasn't out of the question. A Belkan Army truck had deposited several black uniformed soldiers with advanced gear, creating a fury of whispers and rumors. Whatever was happening, it was serious.
