Due to recent events concerning bounties placed on the leadership of nations by the government of DoubleWideVille we propose that incentives be placed on DoubleWideVille and that their buck's value to an extreme low in the world economy so that the leaders of nations will not be threatened. They should learn to deal with enemy nations properly which is by use of legal and justified military force, not by blatant aggression.

We profess ourselves interested in this act. While we are more than happy to deal with such threats with violence if they were ever to occur, that would do nothing but perpetuate a vicious cycle, and this measure is both brutally clever and economic in nature, two qualities that appeal to our government. How can we help?
Vetalian currency traders begin to eagerly take short positions, waiting to reap considerable profits from the decline in DoubleWideVille's currency should any attempt at punitive financial measures be successful.
Currently, the Vetalian ruble exchanges for $2.44 bucks, with the trend towards $3.00 per ruble highly likely due to strong economic growth in Vetalia and the potential for punitive sanctions. Vetalia's GDP expanded 3.5% last year to an unprecedented value of 287 trillion rubles, or slightly over $700 trillion, making it one of the single largest economies on Earth with one of its highest per-capita GDP levels.
The Beatus

The Beatus's economy, even though involved in a civil war, was still thriving miraculously. They're currency traders were also keeping a keen eye on the foreign markets. They sat they're huddled together in a tent, around one of the few laptops to be found in the refugee camp, ready to profit off the decline of the DoubleWideville currency, which was already pitiful against the Nokka. One Nokka was worth, 2.23 DoubleWideville Bucks. With any luck, the Nokka would continue to grow against the DoubleWideville Buck. When news of the attempt to devalue the DoubleWideville Buck came in, the currency traders decided to celebrate, with a $20,000 bottle of wine, from the Beatus. They had no problem getting the wine, it was the glasses they had trouble finding in the refugee camp, eventually they settled on using paper cups that were being distributed by the military. They hoped times would get better, so they could once again drink expensive wine from glasses, instead of paper cups, but the wine was still good, and the celebration went on.
