OOC: Closed to Miamoria, meeting set up via TG
It was simple, really. They were just across the North Sea from each other and so it made sense that they would meet everyn once in a while. The meeting was to be held in Den Haag (The Hague) which was easily accesible to the Miamorians. His Royal Highness, the Prince of Orange, or with his preferred title, Grand Duke of East Luxembourg Willem VI arranged to meet the emperor of the Empire of Miamoria, His Imperial Highness, Miamorga I.
He had little doubt the Miamorians would refuse as it would be a great oppurtunity to improve relations between the two monarchies. Not only would it give them a chance to discuss narcotics, prostitutes and individual freedoms in general. The heir to the throne shared the libertarian views of his father, grandfather and their ancestors. It was crucial to preventing riots, protests and revoltuion.
The King would definetly notice if the 40-years younger royal secretly set up the meeting. So, permission from the king needed to be, and eventually was acquired. It was then, and only then that Willem VI actually sent a message to the nearby Empire. The response was swift and positive. While the Emperor suggested they meet in London, the Prince arriving via The Thames River. The Dutch man insisted however that they meet in a city with easier water acess and they agreed on Den Haag.
The Royal Dutch Air flight, London - Den Haag, arrived the agreed date at 10:00. The young royal was ready to meet the foreign ruler and had red carpeted stairs put up to the air craft. He awaited the first steps of Miamorga and hoped everything would go well for both countries and men involved.
