The Peoples Republic of Sardinas
Welcome to our glorious land. This has been specially prepared for the Colimfornian troops being sent over to our country. Anyone else can use it, though.
General Geography
The Kolakan Plains dominate the southern part of Sardinas. This area is also home to our capital city of Jescow. The area of most concern, is the Urnal River Highlands. These are dominated by mountains and hills, filled with forests, brimming with rebel installations. Meresburg is the major city, and also the major war zone.
The People of Sardinas
There are two ethnic groups in Sardinas; the Urnals, who are the rebels, and the Sardinasians, who are the majority.
Urnals have a distinctive Asiatic look about them, with names like Lung-Chi, or Zhe-Fan. Sardinasians look like eastern europeans, with many men wearing beards, and names like Ivan, Sergei, Mikhail. Urnals have no beards; only mustaches. The religion of Urnals is Urnalie Presbyterian. Sardinisians have no religion; many are socialist.
Rebel Locations
Rebels are situated in two main pockets; Meresburg, and in the Urnal Highlands, in almost any wooded area. They are skilled in guerrilla warfare, and will wait along a road for almost 12 hours to ambush a convoy. It is also believed they have foreign special forces with them, though this has not been confirmed. Rebel Bases follow a similar make up. A wood or earthen wall surrounds the base, with a ditch on the outside perimeter of the fence. To get across, they use a drawbridge. Inside the bases are log cabins or tents, which serve as living quarters, blockhouses, and command posts. Rebels will fight for each building seperatly. Expect a hard fight.
