SONOMI-The theft of the century as a one of a kind painting of Ruling Princess Tomoyo Weaver was stolen before it was to be sent back to Sonomi after having it's framed cleaned. The painting was put under lock and key in the vault on January 23 and was discovered missing today at 5:00 A.M. The Royal Raven Guardians have strong reason to believe the theft was an inside job from one of the workers in The Raven Watterhouse Corp. in Port Yasuragi. "We intend on shifting and interrogating all employees," says Detective James Vanderbilt said. "This is a capital crime because the painting is considered Royal Property."
The Painting of Tomoyo was painted by the late Saeko Kurosawa in 2005. Kurosawa who is a renound artist in Kurona was selected out of thousands to paint Tomoyo by her late father a year previous. The painting its self was delayed with the death of Prince Mako and Princess Himeko Mikanu along with Tomoyo's coordination and the Great Storm of '05. After the storm Kurosawa finally painted Tomoyo and added a garden backdrop. Following Kurosawa's death Tomoyo purchased the painting to prevent it from being auctioned and had it displayed in the Sonomi Museum of Kurona.
As of January 19 the painting was taken down and sent to Yasuragi to be cleaned. The painting is valued at $5,000,000. A $2,500,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery or perpetrator.
