FROM BELKAN WORLD NEWS AT EIGHT
Earlier today in Mundus Square, the Emperor of Belkaros announced to his people and the world that his country was now a nuclear power. According to official reports cited by the Emperor, Belkaros now has a full atomic arsenal with at least fifty launch sites. The Emperor assured that this arsenal was to be used only as a deterent, and not an offensive tool. We are still waiting for the reaction of the international community.

The Bulgislavian Workers Party are united in expressing a negative view of nations possessing violent weapons of mass destruction.

The Bulgislavian Government would like to know what made the Belkaros government feel it had to take such extreme actions in aquiring nuclear weapons. However Bulgislavia believes each soveriegn, independent state has the right to take any steps it likes within its own boarders and we see it as your nations right as an independent state to become a nuclear power though we do express sadness at this step.
