With the recent region change, the current McPsychovillian map displayed on NSWiki is, aside from being a lot crap, now very inaccurate on top of that and I'd like to get a new one made of some decent quality (i.e. better than if I were to do it alone using Paint). If anybody's interested in helping me out, let me know and I can provide you with the important information. And while people are here, does anybody know when NSWiki is projected to be up, running and editable again?

No need for the OOC, this whole thread is out of character. And frankly, I'm not entirely certain myself. At the moment, I'm leaning towards...Mass Effect-level technology in terms of stuff like weaponry and computing, but no spaceships, so I suppose that would qualify as post-modern tech.

Neither, just a country in a similar shape to Sweden and Norway put together.
Whats wrong with maps made on paint, I've seen some pretty kick ass maps made on paint. Hold on, I'll find one.

i just use the Civ III editor. Its pretty awesome for maps.

Nothing really, it's just that my artistic talents peaked at fingerpainting. The problem with Civ III as a map editor is that it's not particularly clear or sharp, and that's what I'd like

In my honest opinion, you can get a much more professional look from a more professional program such as Photoshop or the like. Paint is rather difficult to use for non-straight-lined drawings.
Not true, paint is actually easier to use. (See map in my last post) if you want to add more detail to the rivers or add actual elevation definition then you should layer your painted map in Photoshop. But MSPaint is by far the easiest program to use to make a decent map.

Is that a world or nation map?
I do hope it is a nation map since it is impossible for it to be a world map with its non contiguous continents
