Politics

The main, and only, political party of the Olympian Republic is the Olympian National Party, which has won every election since the Republic's foundation. It's current leader is Director Auza Daulong; second in command is General Christopher Chang.

Technology

The technology of the Olympian Republic is limited, as AIs more advanced than a first-generation polysentience have been banned. It's most advanced technology is no doubt the magnetic marvels left behind by Vuhifellian colonizers. Their technology revolves around magnetics and hydrogen; which powers everything from space warships to personal ground vehicles.

Military

The Olympian Military is divided into two simple branches:

and the Marine Corps: the primary ship-to-ship, amphibious, and ground assault force.

Religion

The main Olympian religion is Vahz-Gree.

Vahz-Gree is a monotheistic religion, which originated from the Jovian region of the Leasath continent on Vuhifell. Vahzians generally believe that their God created all that exists around them, and that he regularly interferes in human affairs. Humans that please him through worship and by living a life of virtue are rewarded in this life and in the afterlife. Those that oppose God or that displease him with sin are punished, both in the living world, and the world of the dead.

There are actually two "Gods" in the religion of Vahz-Gree. Vahz, ruler of Heaven, Creator of All that is Good and Father to Us All (as his title is), is responsible for the well being of humanity and judges their fates on the Balence of Salvation, a Holy Object that resides in Heaven and is used to weigh human souls.

Gree, ruler of the Demonic Realm, controls all that is evil, and has been waging an eternal war against heaven for control over humanity. He is responsible for all sin and vice in the world. He is said to possess a crown of lava around his head and wield the Sword of Helusus; a mythical sword that is responsible for death. Those that possess evil souls are eventuall sent to the Demonic Realm and have their souls devoured by demons and devils.

Unlike many Vuhifellian religions, Vahz-Gree requires many restrictions upon its followers: those who practice the religion must never eat pork or meat from any "unclean animal". Prayer is required every day at sunrise and sunset, and it is required to go to a temple and praise God at least once a week. Prayers must always be conducted with one's head toward the sky, and the religion's Holy Scriptures explicitly state several sins which can instantly damn a person's soul.

There are also several branches of Vahz-Gree; each with their own style of worshipping Vahz and of guiding souls to Heaven. Though this is common in most Vuhifellian religions, it is the only religion to have a universal Holy Book, the Twelve Sacraments.
