VOTE ON WHO WILL SUCCEED PROVOÇE
The Hall of Bulgislavia, a Large, stone and brick rectangular shaped building was filled for the second time since the beginning of the year. On the 1st of January the party met in this hall to discuss the situtation of teh country and where President Provoçe read a one hour speech outlining resolutions of the party and goals thoughout the year. However the Party was meeting here once more with a very important discussion.
Who will succeed President Provoçe when he dies. Alread Provoçe was 77 turing 78 on the 8th of february, next month.
Although he appeared to be in perfect health the party and Provoçe wanted to name a successor just to assure the country that the nations path would not be changed and that its present course would not be threatened.
Provoçe had returend from inspecting the demolition of central Creçea to attend this meeting.
Provoçe walked out to the podium to give a speech. the rest of the party sat in silence in the grand hall. On the wall directly behind Provoçe was the National symbol of the sunset shinning over a vally between two wreaths of wheat. then 4 flags, all of them were the national flag were drapped from each side of the emblem.
Provoçe began speaking. 3 men sat behind him, most likely the candidates for the succession
"Today our workers party will decide the future course of our nation when I am gone. It is important we continue our revolutionary work and we shall do this by appointing a new, young, loyal patriot that will steer us into the new millenium... Behind I believe are the future, these three comrades have shown tremendous loyalty, dedication to thier conutry and to the cause.
Our workers party will elect one of these to the position of President and General secretary of the Workers Party when i am gone"
With that the entire hall of politicians stood and in communist tradition all clapped in unison. some members at the back of the hall waved red flags.
(OOC: just pretend your a member of Bulgislavia's communist party and you get to vote to elect Provoçe's successor. Ofcourse the candidates that he choose are all loyal stalinists its not like the country will see much change after Provoçe is gone anyway)
Candidate One: Alia Prekov Age 37 Born 1970
Alia Prekov is the youngest of the candidates and one of the most likely to succeed Provoçe. Born in Terevesti in 1970 his parents were both high ranking party members. He was born into privilige and never sevred in the military. He was given a top education at the Terevesti National University studying Political sciences, history, economics and the Russian language
he easily gained access to Party membership thanks to his parents in 1995.
In 1999 Provoçe took notice of his staunchly stalinist attitude, education and determinationa and ambition. Provoçe seemed to have taken him under his wing as Prekov was seen at all of Provoçe's celebrations, parades and gatherings.
Candidate Two: Nicu Tudor age 68 Born 1940
The oldest candidate and most unlikely to succeed Provoçe only becuase of his old age. Nicu was born in Timescu Bulgislavia's smallest industrial city. He was an average industrial labourer until 1970 when at the age of 30 he got the chance to study where he studied architecture. He passed top in his exams and in 1978 he joined the Party. He came to prominence during the 1980's as he helped design some important party structures and buildings. He continued to command the builders and architects through the 90's in constructing more buildings. He toured the Communist nations of Asia on Provoçe's orders and compiled blueprints and models of momuments on that part of the world to mimic in Bulgislavia. He continues to serve Provoçe and is his favourite architect and designer
Candidate Three: Omar Bashkim age 47. Born 1960
Omar is another favourite to succeed Provoçe for one important reason and that is he is highly uneducated and therefore easy for the party to manipulate. He was a communist thug during the 70's working with the Cigouriva (Bulgislavia's Secret police) in 1984 using his contacts in the secret police he joined the communist party. He never attened school or had any education of anykind. A very uncharasmatic leader he gave a speech once at a rally in Terevesti in 1998 declaring an end to the famine in which he read of a peaice of paper, not realising any diferecne between coma's and full stops resulted in nonsensicle sentences and pauses where there didnt need to be. Provoçe noticed this and has stated that it might be best to have a puppet president that played second fiddle to the party and so an Uneducated thug like Omar could be Bulgislavia's next leader
