The following offer has been sent via post to the leading universities in every nation.

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is my pleasure to offer you, as the executive dean/otherwise empowered head of your financial institution, an invitation to select from your current enrolment or alumni, one (1) student to apply for one of the 10 ‘International Aptitude Excellence Scholarships’ offered by the Faculty of Health Sciences’ School of Medicine at the University of Googleopolis.

Below are most of the important details you will require if you choose to consider this offer.

The University of Googleopolis

Both the University of Googleopolis (UG) and its affiliated Medical School are the largest in Googlewoop. While funding and organisation of tertiary education is strictly Government regulated to ensure consistency between institutions, UG is widely considered as the premier university. More graduating secondary students apply to GU as their first preference than any other national university in all faculties but particularly in the School of Medicine.

The International Aptitude Excellence Scholarships

As a recognised world leader in the providing of healthcare, the Googlewooper Government recognises its responsibility to make concerted effort to invest some of the resources of its benchmark health care and education systems in students and doctors from other nations. It also recognises, as proven by the Googlewooper national health system, that the most important factor when selecting trainees for medical practice is not necessarily exceptional academic excellence, but more likely other factors listed under the general category of ‘aptitude for medical practice’. GU is allocated 10 places (of 50 nationally) in the ‘International Aptitude Excellence Scholarships’ program worth G$ 20 000 each annually for the four years duration of the student’s degree. Successful Graduates from this program will be awarded a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery dual degree. The BM/BS is the equivalent of the MD in some nations. They will also be eligible for automatic entry into the Googlewooper Medical Association (GMA) registered Professional Medical College of their choice for specialist training. GU must ensure that students enrolling in these places are:

i. a. Citizens or permanent residents of a documented developing or otherwise appropriately disadvantaged nation.

or

i. b. Citizens or permanent residents of a nation with a health system which is documented as ‘inadequate’.

and

ii. Graduates of a recognised previous degree program at a tertiary education institution in the nation of which they are citizens or permanent residents who have displayed good, but not necessarily excellent, academic progress in that program.

and

iii. Perform well enough in anaptitude exam and semi-structured interview to warrant selection.

Application for a Scholarship Place

Applications are currently being taken. Any institution interested should send a written application along with a short portfolio of the applicant supplying basic information regarding their nationality and subsequent eligibility (as per section i. of the rules of enrolment), their GPA (on a scale of 1 to 4 or 1 to 7) as of completing their last degree and any other information you may see fit to include,

developing nation ... mhh yah we definately arn't stagnant.

health system which is documented as ‘inadequate’, well the UN says it's bad but the people that matter get good health care, and it's not like were lacking of people. So were sustaining more people than we are loosing, but it could be better, like the people that are non public service employees and not rich, or experimental research donors could probably use health care too.

As for the "academic stuff, there are a bunch of people who didn't graduate top of the class, and thus left the military due to non rank increment after a couple years due to not passing entrance - your interested in our washouts?.
