Warhaven

It was peaceful, throughout the galaxies. Some minor fighting may have been going on, but there were no major battles today, not this day. Even in the midst of war, oeaceful days can occur.

As such, the communications systems of just about anyone were not overly active with more than the common mundane chatter of countless billions of nobodies whose lives would amount to nothing in the fullness of time.

It could fairly be viewed as a shock then, when every network lit up with a message from a nation that had been dead for ages, from a world that had died with the First Existence, as The Intergalactic Trans-dimensional Communications Network recieved its restart protocols, and became active once again.

March 5th, S.E.

Greetings, people of the worlds, Rejoice, for the Darkness that consumes once again moves among you, restoring a long sought after Balance to all things.

I am Tajen Darkson, translated among my people literally as Tajen, Son of The Darkness, and I am The First Emporer of Warhaven, Ressurected from the ashes of The First Existence.

I come to you, asking that there be peace among us all, and to that end, I invite you to come to Ri-an, to Le'lanshire, Capitol of The Dark Empire, and open friendly, peaceful relations, even, establish an embassy if you so desire.

Tajen Darkson,
Lord Emporer of Warhaven.

King Edward the fair and peaceful smiled with satisfaction as he sent the message out. Certainly it was a much better diplomatic stance than Tajen's original message, which somehow managed to insult nearly everyone that read it, and invited them to take a long walk off a short pier. That message had been promptly burned and scattered to the four winds, which was quite a feat considering it came on an electronic Data pad.

The Imperial fleets were on watch, but trouble was not expected, which was good, because the fleets consisted of parts of the old Ri-anese military that survived to the second existence, and the odd Celestial Dragon that felt like helping out.

He had no idea how many responses he might get, or even if anyone would show up. He surmised that few if any would get what was meant by, Son of The Darkness.

Nevertheless, time would tell many things.

OOC: Basically, its just a chance to make my return offically known in all capacities. Not much planned, thought I'd play it by ear as we went along.
You don't even have to come visit if you don't want to, just please, no large scale fighting, yet.

OOC: Anything special you are looking for? Also, any relation to Ri-an the player?

Timeline of Nations:
In the beginning there was Warhaven, and the player looked upon it and saw that it was good.
then Darkness clouded Warhaven's soul, and in a great schisim, left and formed its own nation. (Kajeenith)
The light and the dark warred for many moons, until finally they incapacitated each other.
then came The Lady Ri-an, and with her Gentle touch, ressurected the fallen children of Warhaven and Kajeenith, and made them her own.
But Darkness came again, even greater this time, and destroyed all things, including The Lady Ri-an and her nation.
Now has come the Second existence, and the darkness walks again under the guise of the original, Warhaven, but there is no light to counter it. However, a spark of light has flared within the heart of Darkness. What will become of this spark? only time and several RP's will tell.

--------------------------------------------

Depending on how relations go ICly, dictates what I'll do in the future. I'm looking to gain friends, so I know what alliance to join. Personal story roles aside, I'm trying to ease my way into international FT politics here.

Now, to answer your question a bit more obviously, yes, I was Ri-an, but before I was Ri-an, I was Warhaven, and now I am Warhaven again.

The message was quickly caught by the advanced communication machine that was the Ascendant probe network. It was sufficiently impossible to cover all the territory they needed to cover, including their patrol duties in both their dimension and their quickly solidifying hold in this dimension. As such, they had deployed probes all over the place to watch regions where they wouldn't need ships to play first response.

However, that was about to change in Warhaven as the Ascendants received the transmission. Breanna, the Matriarch of the Telrosian Ascendants, sat in her palace on their homeworld, deep within the dimension they had laid full claim to and read the message she had received.

March 5th, S.E.

Greetings, people of the worlds, Rejoice, for the Darkness that consumes once again moves among you, restoring a long sought after Balance to all things.

I am Tajen Darkson, translated among my people literally as Tajen, Son of The Darkness, and I am The First Emperor of Warhaven, Resurrected from the ashes of The First Existence.

Tajen Darkson,
Lord Emporer of Warhaven.

Her eyes narrowed. Rejoice for a Darkness has returned to restore balance? Darkness never restored the balance of anything; it was light that always had to force back the intense hunger of the darkness, and protect the balance. Besides, the balance of the universe was already dangerously thin. The invasions by Chronosia and the Lords of Chaos, along with the dangers occurring on several other worlds were quickly growing. At the rate things were heading, the balance would be overwhelmed in a few mere months.

However, she was intrigued by the soft words and diplomacy of this nation. And she did have to concede that some nations who were inherently evil did fight for the light, such as the Scourge within the GFFA. She closed her eyes and sent a call to a favorite captain of hers....

************

S'kar's eyes shot open as he felt Breanna's voice in his mind.

"Yes, Mistress?"

"S'kar, another nation has appeared. It appears to be quite large, powerful, and situated. It is asking for allies and envoys to go meet with it."

"No offense, but why me? I am in charge of the defense of the homeworld and-"

"They intrigue me, S'kar. They have mentioned something of the Balance, and of Darkness and Light. And their aura....seems familiar. I can't quite place it, but it is familiar. I need you to go represent us as you know our best interests, and you can also handle yourself quite well."

"Understood, Mistress. I will leave at once."

He sent the order and his ship, the battleship, simply named The Void, smoothly transitioned into phase space and headed for the place given by the Warhavenians.

*******

Several hours later....

The Ascendant Battleship (http://a248.e.akamai.net/f/248/5462/2h/images.gamezone.com/screens/27/7/89/s27789_pc_110.jpg) suddenly appeared in the space around Ri-an, and a psionic message was sent to the planet.

"This is the Ascendant Battleship, The Void. We have received your message and are here to speak with you.

OOC: lol, a ship named the void

IC:

Crystal asteroids were everywhere, around the giant crystaline world. The glittered and they glimmered beautifully in the light of the systems star.
The psionic message was picked up by the Aquamarinian Hive mind.

A ship that was designated M-0451839-AD and was infact the oldest survivng Ri-anese Octopus ship drifted closer.

a transmission was opened, and an image of a giant 15 foot white Octopus with Aquamarine blue eyes appeared on the screen. this Octopus had 16 appendages moving about the completly submerged ship he was in, which infact was the ship before them.

"Greetings, I am Edward, King of the Foreign Relations Department. It is pleasing to know that indeed someone out there has picked up our message, we were afeared that perhaps galactic technologies had advanced beyond our communications capacities.

A cold drafty ship is no place to speak for the first time, let us decend to the surface, we'll sit before a roaring crackling fire, I'll sit in a specially designed tank so I can continue to breath, and we will drink to our new found interest in each other and then we shall, speak." Edward said on the exact same Psionic frequency that was used to contact the surface world.

S'kar nodded to the creature, somewhat surprised by the form it took. "Greetings, King Edward. I am S'kar, commander of the Homeworld Defense Fleet of the Telrosian Ascendancy. I have been sent by my Mistress to speak with you." At the words of the creature before him, he held himself back from raising an eyebrow. They wouldn't even see it anyways, this was an audio only transmission because they didn't have visuals. Being one with your ship made that rather impossible.

"Very well. I will come down to the planet. Just send us the coordinates of the location and I will be there." S'kar turned back from the console and sent orders along the ship. All fighters were to remained prepped and the weapons/shield systems to be coded for instant activation. He had the same fears Breanna had, and he was not going to lose his ship to a surprise attack. He began moving down the ship's inner parts, heading for an appropriate point to disengage and head for the planet.

Of course, he wasn't really 'moving' through the ship, it was more like traveling through the wires and machinery of it, seeing as the only room it had within itself was for the squadrons of Archlord fighters, the replicators, and other vital machinery.

S'kar nodded to the creature, somewhat surprised by the form it took. "Greetings, King Richard.

"Perhaps a systems check is needed, I said my name was Edward, not Richard, though I have an understanding those two names are linked somewhere in history." Edward said. The ship promptly fell to the planet, splashing into the ocean. A beacon at the Skyway began to beep, indicating the landing coordinates. The landing pad itself was fairly roomy, able to hold most planet going ships.

The skyway itself was a solidly constructed metallic building. At the edges of the landing pad crystals jutted out of the ground, a naturally occuring phenomina. the wind picked up, carrying with it the tinkling of thousands of such crystals from far away.

Before anyone arrived to greet S'kar, a little girl that could have been no older than five skipped out to the landing pad after S'kar exited. She was dressed as any little girl from a farm might. Her hair was blond, and it was like White Gold. Her eyes were Cerulean blue, and her complexion fair. She was a very pretty little girl, and smelled like a daisy field. In her hands she held a daisy, she skipped up to S'kar, and in her eyes, was innocence of the truest kind, as though she had only known goodness and honesty her whole life, having no concept of evil whatsoever. She stopped, looked at S'kar for a moment, and held up the daisy, offering the strange man a simple present.

It was unspoken, and unwarned of, but this was perhaps the greatest test any outsider could ever face, even if it was unoffical, and as of yet, unknown, even to the Warhaven Government, for what sort of a monster could possibly harm such an innocent little girl, even if no one was looking, and what such monster was worth knowing?

OOC: I'm serious, how you treat this innocent little girl, and whether or not you accept her innocent little present, determines just what sort of a future you will have with me.

If you've Read the Book of Darkness, then you know that it is Cara, even if her being here does raise some questions that are not yet ready to be answered.

OOC: The Richard thing was an error on my part. I'll edit it. EDIT: Edited.

IC: The way S'kar came to the planet was something not many nations were used to, or would expect, and it wasn't something every Ascendant could do alone. Closing his mental eyes and focusing, S'kar began to feel the power of both the phase universe he was from and the psionic abilities they had naturally. Using his connection with the ship, he appeared on the hull of the ship, which if detected by any ship would result in a strange energy reading. An amorphous mass of energy exited the ship, paused, and then rocketed for the planet, going at a crazy speed. When it began to come close to the planet, S'kar reached for his phase powers. When they put themselves in a physical form, like the one he would have to assume down on the planet, it made it very difficult to access their phase powers. But, in his natural form, it was as simple as flicking on a switch. Another burst of energy would result and the energy form would....vanish.

Moments passed and nothing happened. Then, suddenly, several meters above the Skyway spot that had been designated for him, the energy appeared again, and slowly began to descend. As it came to the ground, it begin to solidify and form a shape. It quickly resolved itself into the shape of an oddly-dressed swordsman (http://i196.photobucket.com/albums/aa71/anyelaaleyna/anime%20guy/anime123.jpg), who had a gigantic blade on his back. The blade itself didn't seem to be attached to him by anything at all. It seemed to resonate as well, emitting as sort of strange frequency, and some kind of white energy lightning coursed over it from time to time. It was also strange as this was a simple teenager, his form belying the authority he commanded as Fleet Commander, and of the maturity in his eyes.

He was about to take a step, when his slate gray eyes locked onto the girl. His eyes visibly widened, and his spiky, white hair shook as he finished his step. The girl skipped up to him, and he blinked at the smell of daisies. When she looked up at him, he let out a soft gasp as he gazed into her eyes. The aura of innocence and good was nearly overwhelming, so much, that it would seem this was a trick. However, when he gently touched her mind with his own, his immense psionic power held back by his iron will, he was able to tell this was sincere. He let out a soft smile, and visibly relaxed from his iron-hard tense posture before. The child was able, somehow, to penetrate the armor of suspicion and mental armor the Ascendants normally had.

"I will have to watch this child. I have never seen such a thing, nor felt anything like this..." Kneeling down, he gently accepted the flower and rubbed the girls hair.

"Thank you, little girl. Why are you out here all alone? Do your parents know you're here?"

The little girl giggled.

When S'kar touched her mind, he would also realise two other things, this girl had a great amount of unrealised power, and second, it was as if she were pure light.

She turned and skipped away, motioning for S'kar to follow, and she turned a corner, when S'kar got there, (for it was the only place to go) he would find he lost her in a sea of people going about their business.

Meanwhile, a much smaller Aquamarinian, this one being about seven feet, from the top of its shiny head to the tips of its tenticles, approached gripping a very muscular creature. The muscular creature resembled a hairless demi-human, and its head was small. It had four powerful arms, and looked like it could lift many heavy objects with relative easy. The creature stopped infront of S'kar, and looked him in the eyes, with the deepest and utmost sincerity, and stood there and uttered only one single word.
"Duuhhhhh!"
"Hush, we know." the Aquamarinian said.
"I'm L'zle, a member of the office of Foreign Relations, King Edward sent me to escort you to the Imperial Palace." L'zle said, extending the psionic image of a hand for a handshake.
Looking down at the creature it was suckered onto, L'zle spoke again.
"This is a creature known as a Gareen, they lack intelligence common even in most wild creatures, but are abnormally strong. You know how strong most humans are when in some sort of power armor, possessing the ability to lift massive five ton boulders with their bare hands? yeah, that's how strong this guy is normally. We tried to give them an I.Q. Test, but they failed miserably."

"Meanwhile, that sure is an interesting blade on your back, where did you get it from? There is a transport out front, but I can dismiss it if you'd rather walk, its only a half hour to the palace on foot. Nice Flower." L'zle said.

S'Kar's eyes widened a bit as he felt what her mind contained, and he could only half-run after the girl, only to see her disappear. Shaking his head upon seeing the crowd of many beings. He narrowed his eyes, trying to find the girl via psionics when the Aquamarinian, along with his hulking escort, appeared in front of him. He would have considered the large creature a threat, except for the simple sincerity in its eyes. He soon heard the psionic message coming from the smaller creature and returned his eyes to it.

"I'm L'zle, a member of the office of Foreign Relations, King Edward sent me to escort you to the Imperial Palace." L'zle said, extending the psionic image of a hand for a handshake.

S'kar returned the psionic handshake, and nodded. "I see. I am S'kar, the commander of the Homeworld Defense Fleet of the Ascendancy. I thank the King for his generosity; I know he must be very busy."

Looking down at the creature it was suckered onto, L'zle spoke again.

He glanced at the creature, changing his perspectives about the being, but was interrupted by L'zle. At his questions, he faced the creature and replied, his stance returned to its guarded and suspicious state. The effect of the girl was dissipating. This sword?" He put a hand on the handle, which jutted over his left shoulder. "That would take....some time in explaining, time we may have later. As for the transport, that sounds fine."

The effects of the little girl wouldn't last very long, and within a few days, even her memory would fade.

The Aquamarinian walked along, talking almost absently.
"You know, that Daisy reminds me of the lost Chapter of The Book of Darkness, when Lord Kajeenith stumbled accross this little girl that profoundly changed the Dark God forever. She was in a daisy field picking daisies, and was an orphan, but the locals took care of her, the locals being a bunch of farmsteads. She was such a pretty girl, her hair was blond, and indeed it was like Whit gold, her eyes, they were blue, and they were as Cerulean in color. She had an air of innocence about her that was unmistakable. It was like being around a being of pure light. Kajeenith adopted her as his daughter, and for five years they lived together happily, until, well, it isn't very pleasant." The Aquamarinian said.

"Until Former General Legion, our ex-leader decided that Kajeenith had become weak and pitiful as a neutral entity, and killed her. To this day, no one dares ever ask just what Kajeenith meant by "A fate worse than death, Feelings worse than Pain and Suffering." said a man in black Mythril Armor. He sat atop a carriage pulled by two Demon Horses. They clawed at the air, and licked their fanged, Jagged teeth, as they looked at all the people walking around with their red-Glowing eyes. They snorted a stream of fire out of their noses in impatience to be off inspiriing fear in all who saw them coming.

The knight opened the door. There was naught but sinister intent in his mind, but there was also fear and respect for the Aquamarinians all around him, and S'kar would catch a glimpse of a giant Red Aquamarinian he feared most on the surface of his mind.
"My name is Sir Van Gence the 3rd, member of The Legions of The Knights of Doom." he said. He did not hold out his hand for a handshake, didn't even look like he wanted to, he hopped back up in the drivers seat, and acted like S'kar should be grateful for knowing who this no rank nobody was.

The inside was decorated with purple velvet, and the seats were cushiony soft. Once S'kar was seated, The Aquamarinian spoke again.
"Don't worry, their all Egotistical jerk-offs like that, especially Glenox, General and Leader of The Legions of The knights of Doom. Glenox is one of the more important people here in Warhaven, especially since he's in charge of the main Armed forces of Warhaven. All the more special ops stuff his headed by Destrudo, Leader of the Clan of Magekillers, who convieniently enough, are all named Destrudo, and all share practicly the exact same cookie cutter persona, once you've met one, you've met them all, except Miss Maggie, but she's a weirdo by their standards, which means she's perfectly normal by most others, because all Magekillers are complete Weirdos. Then there is Xrus, Leader of The Void Mages, Priests of Kajeenith, and finally, the Royal Aquamarinians, Kings, Edward, Mark, Howard, John, Crimos, and Queen Lucy. Each one has their trates, which are most obvious by looking at them, and each one is a diffrent Color." L'zle said.

The carriage ran accross a cobblestone pathway, as though the people of Warhaven never bothered to upgrade to a better surface. All along the way, S'kar could see people walking about on their business, shops by the score, fountains, and even man-made waterfalls. There were signs of highly advanced civilization, as tubes and more advanced vehicles ran through tubes and went to giant skyscrapers on their business. Soon, they came to what seemed at first like a giant metal skyscraper, then it was quickly realised, it was a massive forest of Crystal Spires, and it was this forest of Crystal Spires that made up The Capitol building of Warhaven, The Imperial residence, a place known as The Crystal Castle.

The Crystal Castle hummed quietly as energy very visibly ran through its walls. L'zle lead S'kar into the castle, and none impeded their movement.

S'kar listened to the story, walking along as they headed for the carriage. His eyes softened slightly in sadness when he heard of the girl's fate. He had glanced at the horses, wondering why they had such a fierce appearance, when he turned to face the new arrival. He could feel the sinister intent in his mind and his body tensed, his mind hardened, and his right hand readied to grab his monstrous blade. He felt the fear for the Aquamarinian, and then relaxed. He wouldn't attack if he feared the being so much. With that, he banished the mortal and his false pretensions at fame, and sat down within the carriage.

Upon hearing L'zle's voice, he waved a hand. "No worries; I am used to the many arrogances that many mortal races put on." He glanced at L'zle and softly smiled. "Of course, I do not say mortal as an insult. It is merely a term of existence. However, if it offends you, I can not talk about that." S'kar then proceeded to listen to the descriptions of all the branches of Warhaven society, and before he knew it, he was at the castle. Glancing at the castle and the many crystal spires which made it up, he smiled.

"Finally, a race of mortals who know true beauty and originality. I think I may like these beings yet..."

He followed L'zle, his white shoulder strips fluttering in the wind of his passing.

"Don't worry, We, and by we I mean the entire Aquamarinian Species, are used to the concept, and the feeling, due to our Hivemind, because the Royals are immortal." L'zle said.
They passed a single room as they entered the Palace, and inside was the giant Red Octopus Van was afraid of.

"INTRUDER!" The Octopus bellowed at the top of its lungs and proceeded to tear the room apart trying to get to S'kar. Fortunatly, The creature was inside an aquarium, and could not harm S'kar physically. Psionicly however, was another story. However, The Hivemind Blocked the creature's efforts.

"That's King Mark, known commonly as Mark The Angry. He is genetically built to always be in a state of undeniable rage. He's in charge of offensive planning among the Hive. He's very good to, despite all appearences." L'zle said, ignoring the raging royal Octopus.

The Carrage stopped, and L'zle stepped out.
"King Edward, Commander S'kar, incharge of his nations homeworld Defences, Commander Skar, King Edward, head of The Foreign relations Department." L'zle said formally introducing the the two. L'zle wandered off, letting his Gareen carry him where it would.

"Its a pleasure to meet you." King Edward said, using the Psionic Equivalent of a handshake, and King Edward had a very firm Psionic Handshake.

As S'kar was told not to worry and they entered the Palace, some kind of creature with a significant psionic aura began to lash out at S'kar. Acting with the instinct and the skill he had developed over the many centuries, S'kar lifted an arm and an invisible shield set over himself. The few psionic waves that came from it before it was muffled slammed into the shield harmlessly.

There was a reason why, except for Breanna, who was essentially a God with her psionic and phase powers, that S'kar was the strongest fighter in the Ascendancy. When the being had been muffled and the explanation given, S'kar gave a single hard glance at the creature, and then shook it off. Undoing the field, he followed L'zle untill they got out of the carriage and he was introduced to Edward. As L'zle wandered away, S'kar returned the King's own firm psionic handshake with one of his own.

"A pleasure, King Edwards. Now, what can the Ascendancy do for you?"

"I would offer a Tentical for shaking, but their kinda slimy, and that's just sickening, from what I understand, to most non-Aquatic Creatures. Now, by no means should you ever touch a Green Aquamarinian, especially King John, their poisonus to the very touch." Edward said.
A second later as he opened the door with one such tenticle and levitated his way inside, a giant pink tentical wrapped itself around S'kar.

"Well, aren't you just a gorgeous hunk of man?" said a very female Aquamarinian behind S'kar.

Edward smiled.
"Lucy, put him down!" Edward commanded.
"Now eddy-weddy, I'm just getting to know the boy." Queen Lucy the Amorous said, while probing parts of S'kar he probably didn't want probed by a strange alien, even if she was friendly.
"Your getting to know him a bit too well. Infact, in most ancient civilizations, you two would be legally wed by now. We have better things to do than let you probe every stranger that comes to the Palace." Edward commanded, in a very stern manner.

Lucy reluctantly put S'kar down, and levitated off.
"Well, now that your very good friends with my wife, shall we be off? Emporer Tajen was intrested in opening up Friendly Relations, possibly even Trade Relations." Edward said.

S'kar nodded at the information and headed into the door, but was accosted by a pink tentacle. It wrapped around S'kar before he could react, as he had been focusing on the conversation. He was lifted slightly into the air and he reacted sharply to the creature holding him. He blushed a little at the voice and the....touching. However, an aura began to appear around him, with little bits of lightning coursing through it. His eyes flashed slightly and a modified voice was directed her way, in addition to Edward's scolding.

"Let go of me! I have NOT given you permission to touch me!" When her tentacle had retracted and she'd left, he stood again, gazing angrily after her.

"By no means do I mean to order you in your own home, but I may not be able to restrain myself next time if that happens. I ask that you....keep her from doing such things to me again."

"As for Trade Relations and open channels, THAT is very possible. Of course, I will need to know the details. My people are a careful people, with all the war and unbalance in the galaxy."

Lucy was long since gone.
"Hey, feel free to chop it off next time, it'll regenerate. Sometimes that's the only way to make her get off. Damn Nympho." Edward said absentmindedly, inadvertantly revealing how he really felt.

He levitated himself along, it was much quicker than watching him try and pull himself along. He wasn't really ignoring S'kar, he was busy with the Hivemind, pulling together details of what he needed to Tell S'kar, of course, with S'kar's own Psionic powers, he could easily tell that.

As they walked along, the Castle glittered prettily in the sun. It was not possible to see through the walls with ordinary vision. Tapestries decorated the walls, and one entity was seen over and over in the pictures adorning the Tapestries and walls. He had white hair and skin, pure as the driven snow, his eyes, his lips, and his clothes, were all blacker than reasonably possible with most colors. It was of course, Kajeenith, God of The void, and Patron Diety of Warhaven.

"Lessee, Trade details aren't quite ready, but we could integrate your homeworld into the Inter-Galactic Trans-Dimensional Communications Network, or, IGTDCN for short. After we upgrade the technology again, we'll be able to once more honestly state that if they have communications abilities, we can communicate with them, its a hyper Dynamic network that is very hard to circumvent. Not impossible mind you, just, hard. That could be a very nice way of maintaining open contact. Of course, we could also give you a plot of land on our Embassy world, Ephseus to build an Embassy on. Ephseus is in Milky Way, outer edge. an Embassy would be the easist way to maintain contact." Edward said.

They reached a large round Table. Edward had a seat at an Empty spot.

A big burly knight in Black Mythril sat there already. He just sat there, eyeing S'kar. He felt diffrent from the other knights nearby, and the one that drove him to the palace. He did not say anything, did not rise to greet S'kar, made no effort or movement to be even remotly nice and friendly. Out of all the people S'kar had thus encountered, this knight was the first that actually felt threatening. His eyes, they glowed Red like the horses that pulled the carrage, his flesh, it seemed to be made of demon skin, as though he had dwelled along time among demons, even his mind felt demonic, and infact was poisonous to Psionic Beings.

Edward, still occupied with the hivemind, paused his duties long enough to make introductions.
"S'kar, my I introduce General Glenox, Leader of The Legions of The Knights of Doom. He's much friendlier, saner, and smarter than his predeccessor, Legion. Glenox, this is Commander S'kar, he's a visitor, behave yourself."

Glenox cracked his knuckles and rested his hand on his sword hilt.

"That's the friendliest he's ever been, with anyone." Edward said.
Next to Glenox, and much friendlier was a man dressed in cerimonial robes of black silk. This man seemed to nat entirely be there, as though part of him just didn't exist.
"I am Xrus, Archwizard of The Void Mages, and High Priest of Kajeenith. Edward doesn't know I'm here, because we have had a disagreement, and I blocked his ability to sense me in any fashion." The man said while walking over to S'kar. except for wearing Black Robes, the term Goth could've easily been used to singlehandedly describe Xrus. Xrus offered S'kar his hand to shake.
"Your still wrong Xrus, a non-existent number has no bearing on a mathmatical equation." Edward said, realising that chairs do not normally move on their own.
"Anyone know where Destrudo is?" Edward asked a second later.
"No." Xrus said, though Edward wouldn't hear him.

Suddenly, the ground shook for a second, as a man simply appeared behind Edward. He was old, having white hair. He appeared as any normal human, having tanned white skin, and brown eyes. His skin had a few wrinkles in it, and he wore a nice business suit and carried a briefcase. That was where the normalness of this man ended.
S'kar needed no Psionic powers to see his Aura, for it was visible to any who looked at him, and it glowed Red, and it radiated far from his body. S'kar could tell that everyone very visibly feared this man, except for Glenox and Edward.

"I see we have a visitor." the man said, and he spoke only in a whisper, but his voice was easily heard throughout the entire room, as silence had suddenly decended with his appearance. People resumed their normal conversations, and some began to leave, away from this newcomer.
"I am Destrudo, Leader of the Magekiller Clans. I see you are a Psion, an immortal Psion, possessing a considerable amount of power. You are not yet my enemy, so I apoligise for interrupting your powers." Destrudo said again, only whispering, yet heard even above all the conversations.
S'kar would find just what he meant by interrupting his powers, for, except those that affected only himself, he could not use his powers in the presence of this man, thus, why everyone feared him.

"Edward, the report on Riptide, I believe it will make an adequate world to claim for the clans. Xrus, I hope you don't think your hidden from me very well. I still remember that favor you owe me for destroying my gardens, all fifty acres of them. You will repay the debt by terraforming Riptide according to my specifications. we will discuss them later, in person." Destrudo said.

"Give me a minute to look through this report, its the last key I need to organising our Trade needs. I didn't know Riptide produced more than onne kind of Mythril." Edward said.

"It will, won't it Xrus." Destrudo said, not as a question, but as a statement of fact. S'kar could feel, even without his powers, Destrudo was not someone you crossed.

S'kar was surprised by the uncaring attitude of the King, but then again, with the way she had acted, he shouldn't be too surprised. He walked along, following after Edward, and noting the figure in the tapestries. He wondered who it was, but brushed it aside for later. It was not that important.

Ephseus is in Milky Way, outer edge. an Embassy would be the easist way to maintain contact."

S'kar chose not to mention the fact that their homeworld was in a place where they would not give any direction on how to finding, through any means. "I see. I suppose we could arrange for something along the lines of the network you speak of. As for an Embassy, that will be fine. Only one of my kind will be attending, as we do have many other tasks that we must see to."

As they walked to the empty table, S'kar glanced at the man already sitting there. The demonic aura coming off of him instantly awoke his caution and mental defenses, as he even sense his mind was poisonous to those who had abilities like him. When Edward introduced him, he merely nodded, but when Glenox put a hand on his sword hilt, he followed in kind. His eyes slightly narrowed as he gazed at him. When Xrus introduced himself, S'kar decided he had been polite enough to evoke a polite response, and he returned the handshake.

When Destrudo came, however, things were different. When he saw the aura and felt the fear of those around him, he tensed. He was still wary from his encounter with the two knights. When the effect of his aura hit him, his eyes widened in shock. Nothing had been ever able to completely cut off his connection to his powers, both psionic and phase, and to the mind link. It almost felt like he was choking. He put a hand on a chair to stabilize himself.

After a few moments, he managed to recollect himself, and nodded to him, greeting him as best he could in his shocked state.

Destrudo looked at Glenox and Xrus, the two hurried off.
"I see my Aura is a shock to you. Worry not, it will not harm you, unles your powers are the source of your continued life, then I suppose they could be quite lethal. Meanwhile, allow me to gift you something." Destrudo said.

Destrudo placed a hand on S'kar's shoulder. S'kar could feel the effects of Destrudo's aura lift.

"Mind you, I will not always do that. Next time I expect you to be prepared, especially if we meet on opposite sides of a sparring arena. I want my opponets to be worthy of bringing me to my limits, not just minor irritations."

Edward snapped to attention after having read the report.
"Alright, trade details. We have a surplus of various metals and other building supplies. There is a surplus of various foods, and a need for Silver, Gold, and rare minerals/crystals/Gems. As for actualt items, we haven't quite gotten everything upgraded and updated, and refuse to trade an inferior product." Edward said.

Meanwhile, Destrudo's eyes widened, something was, wrong. the old man didn't fear much, but he sensed something that made him want to leave.
He took a step backward, and took off running, out of the castle. Everyone else followed suit leaving Edward and S'kar alone in the room.

"Such wise words, Inferiority is quite a problem. and the problem here, as I see it, is you, commander S'kar." a hideous voice capable of turning even battle hardened veterens into cowards.
"you are an unknown, an untested variable."the Voice said, continuing is speech a moment later. All color inverted, and all things grew fuzzy, staticy, like an old time TV with bad reception. A section of the great hall they were in appeared that was not there seconds earlier, a throne, made of the same crystal as the palace was in it, and all the energy in the walls, came from the throne. Fire blazed in the throne, and all around it. A man wearing Red Leather sat in it. He looked almost exactly like the man in the pictures, except for the Red Leather, and the black streaks in his hair. He held a sword that was every color at once, even those that existed only in the spiritual planes, and none at all.
Others think they know what they are doing, but I know one thing, I refuse to be on positive terms with a nation that cannot hold its own, by default, you represent your nation, can you hold your own in a fight? The man said, rising, and walking through the flames carrying his sword.
This man was the exact opposite of the sweet little girl that first greeted S'kar. this man was Darkness, this man was Hatred, Terror, Destruction.
Edward shook, terrified of this man, and if not for S'kar, would have fleed utterly, but could not bring himself to abandon his guest.
"I am The son of The Darkness that consumes all, I am Tajen Darkson, Lord Emporer of Warhaven. You look weak and cowardly, I defy you to prove me wrong. Certainly not to the death, for such a thing is meaningless to me, but on the otherhand, it would probably be hell for you to come back, and I couldn't be bothered to spare the energies required to bring you back if you did die. Flee Edward, run away, you know you want to. I command it." Tajen said.
He jammed his sword into the floor, and the dimensions of the room increased considerably, as space and time were altered to suit Tajen's whims.

S'kar found himself standing on a dirt floor. The walls were over 300 feet tall, and the ceiling covered in Darkness. Tajen stood on the opposite end of the Arena, holding his sword. He absorbed the light as it passed him, just by standing there, making him appear to be in a cloud of darkness. Edward simply wasn't there.

"Rejoice, for you will not know the touch of Dissolution. Father's blade is too powerful to be wasted on you. One should not use the most powerful weapon ever to exist on a mere scuffle anyway. No, I will be using the Mind Stinger, a blade compossed utterly of energy. Tajen said. He threw Dissolution into a mini-void Nexus, reached into it, and pulled out a blade composed utterly of a multi-colored energy. S'kar could sense that it could pierce his mind, even without touching his flesh, should Tajen so desire it, just as surely as it could pierce his flesh, without piercing his mind, should Tajen so desire it.

"Well, are you going to prove me right, or Wrong? Are you a Coward, or do you possess courage?" Tajen said.

When he felt the psionic connection to his people, and his powers, flow into him again, S'kar breathed easier. He realized that this was another lesson he had to remember, that one's power could be taken away at any time. When he heard Destrudo's words, he smiled a bit. "Of course, Destrudo. You have my word that I will."

He paused and turned to Edward as he heard him talking.

"Alright, trade details. We have a surplus of various metals and other building supplies. There is a surplus of various foods, and a need for Silver, Gold, and rare minerals/crystals/Gems. As for actual items, we haven't quite gotten everything upgraded and updated, and refuse to trade an inferior product."

S'kar crossed his arms, taking a hand off his hilt absently. "Trade in construction materials would be useful, as we are on a colonization parade right now, rebuilding what we gave up in the past. We also have plenty of gems, crystals and the like to trade. And-" He dropped off as he saw Destrudo's and everyone else's reactions. Soon enough, a powerful aura came slamming for him, but this time he was ready. Although, not as strong as the coming aura considering that the Ascendants had just recently within this century discovered their powers, and S'kar himself had only managed to get his power where it was within the past half-year, it was significant. The massive aura of Tajen would be countered somewhat by the calm and quietly powerful aura of S'kar, he now stood still and gazed to where he sensed the aura.

Due to his proximity to Edward, the effect of the aura would dissipate somewhat for him.

"Such wise words, Inferiority is quite a problem. and the problem here, as I see it, is you, commander S'kar." a hideous voice capable of turning even battle hardened veterens into cowards.

He looked almost exactly like the man in the pictures, except for the Red Leather, and the black streaks in his hair. He held a sword that was every color at once, even those that existed only in the spiritual planes, and none at all.

S'kar turned to face the throne that suddenly appeared and its occupant. He glanced at the blade in his hand, and his right hand smoothly reached over his left shoulder to grasp his own blade, Aneishu. The Lord of Shadows, it was known as. It was named after the legendary demon it had felled during the great wars they had fought back in their dimension. They had faced several nations who called upon magical forces against them, and sent demons their way. Even then, S'kar had managed the power to summon the normal psionic blades that few of his kind could bring, as Breanna and he had discovered. And to add onto that, it had absorbed the demons power after it had been defeated. He shoved the memories of the battle away. He had a new foe.

"Those are strong words, for one so young."

Others think they know what they are doing, but I know one thing, I refuse to be on positive terms with a nation that cannot hold its own, by default, you represent your nation, can you hold your own in a fight? The man said, rising, and walking through the flames carrying his sword.

S'kar gave the man a hard look. "What kind of Emperor threatens and strikes fear into their own subjects?" He began to walk towards the Emperor as well, slowly beginning to draw Aneishu. "So, you wish to fight me, Emperor Tajen. You wish to know if I can hold my own in a fight.

I have fought many demons and supernatural beings, some whose power were close to what we have now. I can tell you from experience that I can. However, you wish for proof, and I see that I cannot deny your request."

The room faded away and he found himself in an arena. He watched without emotion, as Tajen tossed away "Father's blade" and took out what he called Mind Stinger. He felt its power, and its ability to attack his mind or body, and his eyes narrowed. He finished drawing his own sword (http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g174/anime_tomboy_4eva/Sword-awesomest.jpg), and held it front of him.

At his question, he merely smirked and got into a stance, his left hand out behind him, his right holding the blade. He let go the restraints on his power, and it filled the room, sending a typhoon of wind cascading throughout the area. Lightning coursed around S'kar in random arcs, striking the ground at odd intervals. His clothes fluttered viciously in the wind, his eyes focused on his opponent.

"You wish to know, Tajen? Then come find out....Aneishu will show you the truth of your answer."

Tajen smiled. Everything seemed to distort, and fade in and out of being. S'kar would quickly realise, this man had the power of uncreation, the purest form of destruction.
"Why do I strike fear into my citizens? Allow me to show you why." Tajen said.
He cracked his neck, and a Void Nexus opened and swalled them both. Inside the Void, Tajen showed S'kar the alternate Warhaven, a Warhaven plagued by constant civil War and unhappiness, a nation full of strife, a nation that spread its problems around to other nations, dragging them down to a state of constant civil War and unhappiness. With time, Hope simply vanished from all creation.
"I can be nice, I can be friendly, but if I was not feared, then my citizens would not be universally bound to me. In causing fear in some, I inspire joy and happyness in many. In keeping the leaders fearful of my Wrath, I keep their followers in a state of peace. In keepinmg my nation peaceful, and happy, I keep others from falling into civil-war prematurely. The Balance is my primary concern, better that I seem dark and twisted, then let my citizens appear so, or would you rather the problems resulting from me being nice spread throughout the universe?" Tajen asked.

He snapped, and the void spat them out in the exact same position they had been moments later. Once again he was his normal self.

Instead of charging at Tajen, he stood there, raised his arm, and fired a Fireball at S'kar the size of S'kar's head right at S'kar, from his fingertips.

S'jar watched the scenes with dispassionate calm, as he watched the scenes of destruction and chaos. When it was over, S'kar looked at Tajen and shook his head. "How naive and utterly foolish. You are telling me that if you were nice, than your nation would be plagued by civil war and strife, spread it to other nations, and bring Hope, an idea, to an end? Don't make me laugh at such a story. That is a pathetic shield to hide behind, Tajen. The problems of the universe cannot all be solved by fear, Tajen, nor will it always fix your nations problems. And there is enough to fear in the galaxy without you adding to it."

He shook his head at Tajen, just as the Emperor launched a fireball at him. Focusing, S'kar surrounded his blade with a powerful telekinetic force and he sliced downward with the blade, sending a powerful slice of TK energy at the fireball. Both collided and the ensuing explosion sent a wave of wind and energy throughout the arena.

S'kar said nothing as he calmly raised a palm and an entire storm of psionic lightning, capable of frying the life force from a being and shattering their minds, was sent crashing at Tajen.

"There are those that say my, lengthy, visit with my father drove me insane, but I'm not insane, I'd know if I was, and I know I'm not insane. I have forseen the death of creation, and it ends with a whimper, going quietly into the night. There are those that say that it is my insanity, which I clearly do not have, that causes me to be this way. They are fools, and so are you." Tajen said, but Tajen was wrong, for the more he focused on the concept of being Crazy, the clearer it came that something drove him insane, and it was his insanity that caused him to be terrifying. If only the Psychiatry assosiation of Warhaven could convince the Emporer to come in for therapy...

Tajen stood, lowered his sword, and let the Psionic Lightning crash through his body and hit the wall behind him. When it hit him, he winked out of being for the smallest of seconds, and came into being moments later.

He smiled, and just stood there. He did it, S'kar would know that much, but how, would not quite be clear, but Tajen disrupted the Time/space continuum, and reciprocated S'kar's attack, making it his own, as though Tajen had sent the lightning, instead of S'kar.

But there was something else to it, as the STC resumed normalcy, Tajen was gone.

Whether the lightning hit, or the lightning was blocked, Tajen dropped out of the bolt, and slashed Mind Stinger at S'kar just as hard as he possibly could, willing it to be a mind attack, thus weakening S'kar's powers.

S'kar saw him reverse his own lightning at him, and he phased himself out of this dimension for the time it took for it to blast through his insubstantial body and then phased himself back into reality, just as Tajen came of of the bolt and slammed his sword at him. He could feel the blade grasping for his mind, but he refused its advances, and raised a hand. A phase portal opened where his hand was, and the sword thrust itself into another dimension, not hitting S'kar.

"I'm not so easily fooled, my friend." He gripped his sword in his other hand, and sliced horizontally at Tajen's stomach. This wasn't a normal attack, the blade naturally had psionic power in it, and it gathered it to use attacks per S'kar's will. Currently, it would unleash telekinetc force on every swing, blasting huge amounts of TK energy throughout the area and was deadly at close range. It also naturally generated TK energy, making it easier for it to cut through things.

Tajen shielded himself with the void, absorbing most of the energy from the blow, but still received a cut to the stomach. Tajen grunted with pain, and smiled, as though he enjoyed the sensation.

"Now that I see your strength, I have no fear of holding back my full might." Tajen said.

Reality drained away like sands in an hourglass, leaving them with only the barest thread of reality, one single dimension to work with. All S'kar could see, using any of his senses, was a dense endless field of black around him. There was no hot, there was no cold, no up, no down, no left, no right, only towards and away from Tajen. Off to S'kar's right, a throne of bones and skulls materialised, and blood ran forth from it. On it sat the man in the picture, with the black leather, and the white hair. He just sat there, watching, and holding the Sword of Dissolution that Tajen threw into the void.

"Might I introduce my father, The Mad God of Darkness himself, keeper of the greater Balance, The Darkness, known through the ages as Kajeenith. Don't worry, I didn't inherit his divinity."

Kajeenith just shook his head and sighed, while putting a hand on his forehead.

"Are you going to stand there flapping your gums all day or are you going to do something?" was all Kajeenith said.

Tajen blushed with embarrassment.

Tajen pointed at S'kar, and disappeared. A Red Giant appeared in his place, but S'kar was uneffected by its immense heat, light, or gravity, it swelled to epic porportions, and went Supernova, and even the shockwave was not felt, the only thing that was, was the tale end of the shockwave, which while still very powerful, was not too powerful. There was no other Dimension to escape to, for they were in the void, and without Kajeenith's permission, no one left the void, and permission was something S'kar did not currently have.

OOC: five more posts apiece then I'll end the battle. The Shockwave is not so powerful, that your most powerful shield cannot absorb or deflect most of the damage.

S'kar said nothing as he saw the wound he gave Tajen, and he did not show any joy in his attack, only intense concentration. He moved to attack again, when he was sent into some kind of void. He sensed he was cut off somehow from his phase powers, and his eyes narrowed. He quickly noticed the throne and the being on it. The power of the being was amazing, his eyes widened slightly as it reminded him of Breanna's power. Shaking his head, he focused on Tajen.

He watched as Tajen boasted of his father, who rebuked him slightly, and then began to attack. He watched as the Supergiant appeared and began to expand. His eyes widened and he began to counter. As it made its way to the point it would go supernova, S'kar gripped his sword in both hands, one on the hilt and another on the blade, and he began to glow. His eyes glowed entirely white, and a powerful aura of psionic energy began to blast out from him, shooting blasts of lightning outwards. An immensely powerful shield was surrounding him and it was the only thing he knew could withstand such kind of blast. As it went supernova and the blast rocketed toward him, he braced himself for the impact. The shockwave, when it hit the shield, caused a powerful blast of light to fill the void for a few seconds, sending huge blasts of wind outward.

When the light dimmed and the wind ceased, there was S'kar, panting slightly, holding his sword in one hand. He let out a breath, and then focused, eyes closed, waiting.....

"Maybe so, Tajen, but then, I've never fought in a place like this before. And if I can't adapt to such a terrain like this..." He focused his energies and the properties of the sword changed. The flow of the sword changed and became mental instead of telekinetic. Turning, he brought his blade up to block the Mind Stinger. Focusing his mind as well as having the sword aiding his powers, it managed to stop some of the damage the Mind Stinger did. Still, he gritted his teeth in pain and threw up a hand, sending a bolt of fire at him.

"...then I wouldn't be able to survive as a warrior."

Tajen was carried off by the wind.

"You know S'kar, you can will the void to alter itself to reflect some sort of Terrain, if that would make you feel more comfortable, I will allow you that small comfort. Infact, I'll even go so far as to let it carry all the normal properties of said Terrain." Kajeenith said, watch Tajen be carried on forever with the gust of wind.

"See, normally The void is infinte, and thus that very nice wind gust is going to go on forever, but if you alter the Terrain, then it loses infinity." Kajeenith explained a moment later.

Tajen disappeared in the distance, only to reappear behind S'kar, via teleportation, and slashed him with Mind Stinger, going for both a physical and Mental strike in one blow.

"Its your choice." Kajeenith said, as he sat there.

The bolt of fire hit Tajen square in the face, forcing Tajen to back off.
"Then let me show you just what this Terrain can do." Tajen said.
Still burning, he willed the Void to be as oil, and the Void Erupted in the fire, using S'kar's own attack against him.
Notably, Kajeenith was unharmed as he sat on his throne.
He waved his hand and the fires went out a second after they started.
Tajen glared at his father.
"Did you not say, not to the death?" Kajeenith said as he returned his son's glare unflinching.

S'kar's eyes widened as he saw the entire Void set on fire and then thrust his arms out, putting out a shield. He gritted his teeth as it battered at him, eyes narrowed. Gritting his teeth, he prepared to do one last ditch effort to beat back the fire....when the fire stopped. Blinking in surprise, he glanced at Kajeenith, seeing that his father had stopped it. When he heard the reason why, S'kar looked back at Tajen and wondered if he had managed to disrupt his cool.

Shifting himself into a combat stance, he held his sword in both hands and waited. He would not attack him while his back was turned, and talking to his father. Besides, haste was not always the best option in a battle.

Tajen leapt away, and turned to S'kar, pointing at him, the tip of his finger began to glow brightly, it glowed brighter and brighter, as volumnous amounts of energy concentrated at his finger tips. He fired in one long continuos beam, when it reached S'kar, the Blast beam left his finger tip, following the beginning straight towards S'kar.

OOC: You get one last post in this fight, make it a good one.

S'kar gripped his blade, and watched Tajen carefully. As the Emperor leapt away, he let go the restraints on his power. S'kar instantly became a bright star of psionic energy, his aura cascading throughout much of the area and sending high winds throughout the Void. His form actually seemed to melt away and just become an avatar of psionic energy. Its eyes glowed a bright blue and the sword was now glowing fiercely.

"Why don't you say we finish this with our last attack, eh Tajen?"

He brought his sword over his head, and watched as energy gathered into the blade, his aura seemingly being sucked into the blade, which then exploded with psionic lightning and light. As the beam fired at S'kar, he returned in kind with his blade, slicing down. A pure slice of psionic energy shot forward. It was his hope that it would slice through the beam and impact with Tajen. If it didn't work, he would be left rather open, as he had to wait for his energies to regenerate. It was a quick process, but it still needed time; time which was precious in a battle of this magnitude.

The blade indeed rip through the beam, however, due to the massive energies in both, they merely cancled each other out.

Tajen had a crazed look in his eye.

"ENOUGH! NO ONE BEATS ME!" he bellowed, and drew his hands back, absorbing insane amounts of energy from The Void itself. It was visibly crackling through the void and pouring into him. It was strong enough to level large Asteroids.

Kajeenith calmly walked over, and beheaded Tajen, and the sliced him down the middle. He walked away licking his sword like a lollipop.

the crazyness left Tajen's eyes. In a discorporated voice he spoke.
"Guess that was a little overboard, huh?" he said.
"obviously." Kajeenith said.
Kajeenith snapped his fingers, and Tajen's body became whole again. He snapped a second time, and S'kar found he was whole again, without any injury or loss of energy.
"Reality is what you make of it, this is especially true here more than anything. You have won Mind Stinger, take it, there will be no arguments. Keep it as a second weapon, or, more likely, merge it into your cerrent to boost its powers, I will allow no Warhavenite to touch it or take it from you.
It is notr yet Tajen's time to take a life. I see things in a longer term than you can imagine. Return S'kar, and leave my Void. I do believe King Edward will have drawn up Trade and Peace agreements by now. Well, by the point in time in which I am sending you. Time is non-existent here, I can put you back in the timestream at any time I so desire, even at the dawn of time, when the very first second ticked by." Kajeenith said.

Kajeenith snapped, and everything went white.

When S'kar's vision cleared, he would find he was in the main Temple of Kajeenith, standing before the Dark Alter itself. Of all things, daisies adorned it. S'kar would find he was holding Mind Stinger. It licked at his sword, as though it could easily slip itself in his original sword, become one with it, and make it stronger. Xrus looked very surprised to see S'kar.

"You lived, congratulations." Xrus said. He nodded to a nearby Purple Aquamarinin. The Aquamarinin notified King Edward.

"Even though he is insane, we all follow his rule for our own reasons, induring his cruelty and madness. I do so, because he is my dieties child." Xrus said.

S'kar, who was panting somewhat heavily at this point and waiting for his energies to regenerate, watched as the blasts collided. He watched as it began to rip through the beam, but the massive energy of the beam caused his own attack to cancel them both out. He gritted his teeth, and threw up his arms, struggling to call up what power he could to block to incoming attack, though he knew it was futile.

As he prepared to meet his end, despite the battle being not to the death, he was shocked to see the God slice off Tajen's head and then gut him, before walking away licking the blood off his sword. S'kar resisted one of his remaining mortal reflexes, gagging and listened to them both as they talked. He was shocked again when he felt his energy return to normal and his body in its normal state.

"Reality is what you make of it, this is especially true here more than anything. You have won Mind Stinger, take it, there will be no arguments. Keep it as a second weapon, or, more likely, merge it into your cerrent to boost its powers, I will allow no Warhavenite to touch it or take it from you.

S'kar took the weapon, eyes wide in surprise, and nodded at him respectfully. He has seen and fought much in his centuries alive as an Ascendant, but he had found something that had managed to do the impossible: shake the normally unshakeable Ascendant reserve. When the light appeared and then died down, he found himself in the main Temple, before an altar. He felt Mind Stinger stretching towards his sword, and he relaxed the mental barrier on his weapon. The two weapons combined and a column of light surrounded S'kar for a moment. When it faded, the sword (http://yeoldearmory.tripod.com/darkness.jpg) had changed dramatically. It has slightly reduced in size, and it had it's form radically changed. The blade had vanished and was now replaced with a long energy blade, which reflected an ever shifting rainbow of colors. Lifting it, he smiled at the gift from Kajeenith, and decided a new name for his sword.

Mind Ripper.

He turned to Xrus and bowed to him. "I do not have any problem with your choice. However, your Emperor has no reason to do what he does, but then again, maybe he doesn't have a choice in the matter. He is rather....unstable." He shook his head sadly and waited for Edward to appear.

"Don't worry S'kar, Daddy only desires to forge a united Empire. The forces that make it up are to divided and uncohesive. Only through absolute fear can they be bonded, or so he imagines, and so he has done. But I don't blame either of them. I mean, Tajen is still at best, only human, and daddy, Kajeenith, has been lost in the darkness for so long, he cannot see the light of the error of his ways. He cannot comprehend a peaceful solution." said the same little girl who greeted him first earlier. She sat in a nearby pew.
Xrus stumbled backwards in shock, almost having a heart attack in the process. The old man did not take sudden surprises well.

"Lady Cara, But we were told you had died." Xrus said, kneeling before the little girl.

"I did, but it is not yet time for me to return to his side." Cara said.
"Kajeenith will be pleased." Xrus said.
"Indeed, daddy will be, but I must stay away awhile longer. He isn't ready." Cara said.
She smiled, the light intensified, and then returned to normal. Where she sat, a single solitary daisy lay on the Pew. The Dark Alter had been changed. It was dark no more, it was gone entirely. A patch of daisies grew in its place.

Xrus picked up the daisy, and held it in wonder.

S'kar turned to the girl, somehow not being surprised at her entry into the Temple. "That may be so, Cara, but it doesn't mean I have to agree with it." He watched as Xrus came over to her, struck with wonder. He listened to the conversation carefully, but said nothing as he did not know what was going on. When she left and transformed the altar, he cocked his head to one side, thinking.

"You look deep in thought." Edward said holding a couple of electronic Data pads in the air by psionic thought.

"Shall I come back later so you can finish your thoughts, or shall we go over these last few details so you can escape this mad house we call a nation and get back to normalcy?" King Edward asked, moving the data pads closer to S'kar.

"No, it's fine Edward. I was merely considering something." He turned and gazed at the floating datapads.
"Those are the trade agreements, I assume?"

"Yes, and no. This first one is the trade agreement." Edward said.

It contained a bunch of legalese, but distilled down to easy to understand language, it stated that The Warhaven Trading Fleets would ship 500,000 units of building supplies to _____________ and there pick up an equal 500,000 units of Gems and Crystals. It was of course, 500,000 units per fleet, per month, and there were twelve fleets, which meant a substantial amount of trade.

"We just need to know where to go, and how to get there, a large asteroid, a meeting point in neutral space, a space station, a moon, Even your homeworld, we just need to know where to go. The other pad, as for the Embassy." Edward said.

It read as follows:

In keeping with peaceful Relations, the Telrosian and Warhaven Governments have agreed to establish a Telrosian Embassy on the world known as Ephseus, located in the abandoned regions between Andromeda and Milky Way Galaxies.

The Telrosian Government will be alloted one Square Mile of land upon which, under which, or above which to build their embassy, so long as it does not interfere with the natural Geological activity of Ephseus. This land will be thought of as territory belonging to the Telrosian government, and will be treated as such, for as long as there is peace between the two governments, with the understanding that final say so over the rules, laws, treatment and ownership of the land will ultimatly still belong to The Warhaven Government, and that no enemy of Warhaven will be harbored in Embassy territory.

In the event Peace ends between the nations, The land shall immediatly cede to the Warhaven Government, and all Telrosian entities and property shall immediatly be cleared.

S'kar looked at the first agreement, looking it over and then signed it. He put in the place Sresca I, which was the planet they has deemed prime for trading. It was a large place with a lively market, and it had the largest mining industry, so it would be there that they got their trade. "Sresca I will be the planet. As for the method, there will be a large space station there where you can conduct trade."

He then checked the embassy accord and nodded in agreement, signing it. "This is fine; we agree to the proposal for an embassy. We will send a ship to begin construction on it soon."

Then he put the two pads together, and then gave one to S'kar.

"Your copy of the agreements, as well as a map to Ephseus, and the proper codes neccessary to not be shot down by the Planetary defense system, unless of course you want to be shot down by them, but I cannot imagine why, t'would be a waste of a perfectly good ship, and life. These pads are compatible with most computer systems. The Communications at Sresca ! shall be integrated as they are with the IGTDCN, once we get our systems upgraded, which is also notated in the padd." Edward said as he floated the other one to an assistant who then scurried off with it.

He motioned for S'kar to follow with him.

"I'd offer a parting gift, but Mind Stinger is a hard gift to beat, and it looks like it's already fitting in well. Your superiors are bound to be looking for an update, far be it from us to keep them waiting. As it just so happens, we're right next to the Skyway, and that is your landing pad over there. May our next meeting be even better." King Edward said, shaking S'kar's hand Psionicly once again. Then, without further ceremony, Kind Edward levitated away, at a very fast rate of speed.

Within moments, he activated the Phase drive and the ship vanished from view, and began to head for home.
