Telros

The dimension of the Ascendants was one only alluded to in the stories and tales of the Telrosians. None were allowed to travel the lanes to and from that place without the proper technology and frequencies. Except for those who already dwell within the dimension, the Ascendants, and the Xel'athi, none had the means to enter.
Well, almost anyone. The event, which was called the Scarring, when a Chronosian warship managed to enter their dimension and sending a strong Warp presence throughout the entire Ascendant consciousness. The damage caused by the surge of the Warp and the subsequent forcing out of that vile, corrupting energy damaged the Ascendant psyche enough to cause a permanent racial scarring. All of the Telrosians were quite paranoid and were insanely afraid of the Chronosians and vowed to destroy them, or if that was impossible, contain them. As such, that had precipitated the return to their five core systems, where they had begun a massive rebuilding project to restart their present in the normal universe.
The Ascendant dimension was heavily defended, with massive weapons platforms spanning across the systems, moving to protect the worlds that they were encircled, and fleets of ships, both of the local races and of the Ascendants, patrolled and ensured they were protected. To add to all of this was the dimensions natural defense of anything not naturally part of the dimension was instantly annihilated when it arrived in that dimension without the proper protection in place. Breanna leaned back and sighed as she gazed at the homeworld of the Ascendants in this dimension, a world that has no name in the Ascendant consciousness; only an identifying wave of emotions and thoughts which exude every time they think of the planet.
She was in the battleship Eternal Shame, the class of ships made during the Karackar Wars which had resulted in the mass genocides of races in this dimension. Their names were meant to drive fear into their enemies and show them their folly. It worked on both accounts, and as such, the names stayed. She leaned back and focused her thoughts, skimming the Ascendant mental pathways, checking in on the reclaimed territories, the operations going down to help the Colonies, always checking to ensure everything was safe and doing well.
Little did they know they were soon about to get a visitor.....
