Who We Are
The Institute for Advanced Studies with Applications to Public Policy (IASAPP) is a non-profit corporation established by the Ryan Dobenicz Foundation in conjunction with Esmund University. Our mission is to advance research in the sciences with the intent of generating effective and practical policy analysis. We seek to bring together the best and the brightest minds from across the world to forward human understanding with the intent of creating a better future.
Where we are
We are located in the university district of Esmund, the capitol city of The Community. We are directly adjacent to both the Esmund University West Campus and the Lombard School of Public Service. While we are technically affiliated with Esmund University and we work closely with both schools, we are an independent research institute.
We Need Researchers
The IASAPP is in search for experienced researchers from a diverse background. We are more than willing to provide accommodations for foreign scholars to bring in their experience and talent. We offer three positions at the institute:
Associate Fellow: An excellent position for those active in other research or government positions. The Associate Fellow will not be required to maintain full time presence at the Institute and can pursue other projects and publish with the IASAPP. Also an excellent opportunity for graduate students who have demonstrated exceptional academic and research abilities.
Fellow: Full time research position with the Institute. The Fellow will have full access to research performed at Esmund University, as well as additional resources including but not limited to: travel stipends, governmental archives and research staff. Applicants will ideally be at the doctoral level.
Senior Fellow: Generally selected from within the Institute or recognized professors from other academic institutions. Senior Fellowship is equivalent to tenure in the university system. The position of Senior Fellow will be decided upon by the governing board of the IASAPP. The ideal candidate will have published in the Institute's journal.
Publication: The IASAPP publishes an annual journal composed of articles written by members about the research they are undertaking or an important topic in international public policy. Researchers need not contribute to every journal, however satisfactory progress must be maintained to remain in good standing.
