HuTianDi invites industry to enter our nation

With the advent of the end of the long civil war in HuTianDi stability has once again been achieved. However, the large ares of the country are in ruin and reconstruction efforts are slowing as money is draining from government coffers. Thus the government of HuTianDi has allowed for foreign industries to enter the country, both to increase government revenue and to assist in the reconstruction efforts by providing much needed jobs

A message to the world:
The Dominion of HuTianDi has long been closed to much foreign investment. However, after our recent civil war the greatness of the damage to our economy cannot be ignored. While many of our industries are intact, the majority of the civilian based industries are lagging in reconstruction and now it shows as our exports are declining and several areas of the nation have problems with hunger.
We therefore now open our nation to the world to allow all nations the chance to open a industry in the nation so long as it follows already set laws (environmental, labour, etc) regarding industry.
Our nation also has numerous unexploited resources and we hope to eventually use these resources to continue to grow. This is a great chance as for now the tax has been lowered on the founding of new industries in our nation and we hope that this will allow for a new growth in our nation.

Many Errikan businesses would be interested in investing in your nation, which can be most profitable for all involved parties, but first we are curious about your environmental, labor, and other regulations. Could you specify, provide us with some specifics?

Business offer

We at Aerospace Logistics would be interested in establishing industries in your nation.

Aerospace Logistics is one of the largest and most powerful international corporations, employing over 900,000,000 people with major branches in 5 nations and smaller departments in tens of countries. ALC is specialized in a wide variety of heavy and semi-light industries, from shipbuilding, mining and construction to consumer electronics. Mostly we work in high-tech areas, however, our range of work spans from the low end - and offers you a capability to build up to the top of technological capabilities.

We would require a special condition, however, to keep up with our traditionally high value on privacy and discretion - that ALC would be exempt from being forced to disclose any of its information, including accounting, and, therefore, would not pay taxes depending on it. To compensate, we offer to repay you using the well proven Vault-Tec taxation system. That means we will pay a fair price for all resources we use, all environmental damage caused, and compensate the government's social, medical and other expenses for each of our employees. In effect, it will correspond to only slightly lower taxation rate, but at greatly improved convenience.

We think you will find this a very beneficial deal.

Respectfully,
Ned Vickers,
Aerospace Logistics Corporation
Relations Department Councillor

From the Government of the Dominion of HuTianDi:

to Kurona:
Subject: Trade agreement
Body: We would approve of trade relations between our nations. However, could you please elaborate on the nature of the proposed agreement between our nations?

to: Cookesland
Subject: Wiikikkats Corporation HuTianDi expansion
Body: Your corporation is welcome to enter our nation and open a branch. We believe that your corporation will be beneficial both to the reconstruction effort and the reduction of unemployment in the region.

To: Errikland
Subject: local laws
Body: For environmental laws, we prohibit the dumping of untreated waste into rivers and deposition of tanks at non approved sites. There is a limit on carbon dioxide release but it is quite liberal and varies in different provinces. Labor laws are similar to that of the US with nondiscrimination and minimum wage (at HTD2.50/ hr). Our nation currently has fairly liberal labor laws to promote the growth of the economy, however as we already have a ruined environment the environmental laws will be heavily enforced should they be broken.

to: Nosorepazzau
Subject: equipment
body: The government would like independant companies to come forth and develop the resources and as such we must decline your offer.
