A short man, Yegar Provoçe, president of the Peoples Republic of Bulgislavia looked down the large table of a small model of a city. 20 siginificantly taller men stood dressed in large warm black coats stood around the model. Yegar wore a grey cotton shirt with a small grey workers cap.

"Its important we try to get the city to look symetrical, set out in an identical pattern, We achieved this look in Terevesti we can do it in Creçea" said Yegar in a withered old voice.

The president was after all turing 78 next month. They were standing in the Creçea city hall. a Large building of marble columns, high cealings and large open halls.

"Comrades this will be the biggest project since Terevesti in 1976" President Yegar Provoçe continued.

Camera men were shooting the model, strategically placing Yegar at the center to make him look more important, The camera's also aimed upwards to give the appearance that Yegar wasnt such a short man. Within days this was to be shown on the restricted 2 hours of TV a day in Bulgislavia on loop.

President Provoçe continued talking with the 20 other party members and engineers and architects standing still intently listening to his voice.

The model of what would become the new city center of Creçea looked sterile with large, concrete block apartment blocks lining wide avenue's and boulavards set out in a plain grid pattern. At the center was going to be the new Palace of Creçea. It was to be a massive structure modelled on Bucharest's house of the people only significantly smaller. It was to have grand marble columns, chandeliers, rugs imported from exotic parts of the world and with other 500 rooms. It would also serve as President Provoçe's personal residence while he stayed in Creçea.

One large problem still remained in the project which was not to be adressed byt he president personally and that was the displacement of over 46,000 people and the destruction of ancient buildings and architecture. These problems were always left to other people to deal with and the president would never have to hear about it or have any knowlege about it.

The Camera Crews followed Yegar and his entourage out of the Hall where he would inspect the beginning stages of the construction and demolition where they would get more shots of Yegar looking important, powerful, intelligent and tall.

Grejour Toliv was the one to handle the problem of the displaced thousands.
"Grejour, have you got the report on the residents?" said a man in his mid fourties to the greying and much older Grejour

"Well temporary housing has been planned on the outskirts of Creçea, new jobs in the countryside has been created for them. Its just a shame the President decided to push the start date of the program a lot earlier, i'm afraid a large majority of the people will only have less then a week to get thier things together and evacuate the area"

"It is not the Presidents fault!" snapped the man in his fourties

"I was not incinuating that!" said Grejour in a stern tone

"Well you should report your mistake to your superior, You will have to organize more housing becuase of your blunder, Why didint you organise the temporary housing sooner then our people wouldnt have to suffer"

(In Yegar Provoçe's Bulgislavia the countries problems are never his fault. they are always the fault of foriegners, incompetent party members, spies, sabatours or traitors. If a mistake occurs its common for higher ranking party members to pin the blame on one less ranking and should that happen to you its wise to accept it as your own mistake and everyone will forget about it the nezt week)

"Very well" said Grejour defeated "I'll mobilize the workers to work faster on the temporary housing, and i will report this to the Party Chief of Creçea"

(OOC: ok i'd just like to say i havnt done rp in ages and that this rp isnt really supose to go anywhere i'm just giving news of whats going on in my country for all who are interested)

OOC: I like this...could be interesting, especially considering all the fine goods your country will need for its own House of the People.

I also find it very amusing that the name of my thread uses the same name as Ceausescu's redevelopment of Bucharest, not to mention uses the House of the People as a model for our own Praetorial Palace.

(OOC: Well i modelled Provoçe to be just like Ceausescu hahaha my country is a comunist nation wedged between Romania and Bulgislavia so yea its sort of supose to be exactly like comunist romania in the 1980's only it survived the revolution of 1989 haha
by the way i love reading about the Ceausescu era of romania so i get alot of my ideas from those stories like this is sort of based of an article i read in a 1987 edition of readers digest :P)

Provoçe and his entourage walked down the main street out of the City Hall. Buldozers and other earthmoving machinary were working on an area that had already been demolished weeks before.

The otherside of the street was linned with citizens. It was freezing cold as it was winter at the moment but still the citizens came out all of them were clapping in unisen as the President and his followers passed. The front of the crowd was a line of small children no older then 15 all wearing red scarfs, white long sleve t-shirts and long black tousers and held a bouquet of red flowers in thier left arm and with thier right hand they held thier fists up. The camera crews were capturing this moment with extreme profession and in haste.

The Creçean citizens that were out to clap for the president were ordered to come out in 6am in the morning to reherse so they could be ready for Provoçe's visit at 9am. Provoçe then moved to a platform which gave him a view that looked down on the earth moving vehicles and equipment busy at work. The camera crew took more shots of him waving to the workers, the crowd and saluting them. Then for the finale of the day the Creçean Peoples Choir came out dressed in Bulgislavia's national, traditional costume of
baggy white tousers with black boots, a large red hat and a baggy white t-shirt with sash's of the National colours of white, green and red wrapped around them. They sang the National anthem of "Song of the Patriots"

and after a lagre, loud and long period of cheering and applause the Choir linkned arms and formed a circle ready for perform the traditional national dance. Provoçe slowly walked down off the platform and linked arms. the Choir and the citizens on the sidewalk began singing an ancient Bulgislavian hym and they choir and the President began a rythmic pattern of taking steps into the cirlcle and then moving out, as one with continued linking of the arms.

And that was the finally of Provoçe's visit to Creçea. For that short period of propaganda that will be shown on Bulgislavian TV's for weeks a lot of preperation went into it. The poor citizens were conscripted into this gathering for weeks of perperation coming out in the biting cold of the morning and it was much worse for the children and the choir for which thier costumes gave little warmth. Not to mention that during the 6 hours practice each day of the last 5 weeks they got no food. only a small 30 minute break in which they had time to each their own food if they brought any.
And for one more pointless fact. Anybody that would have to be in direct contact with the president was held in quarentine for 42 hours incase they infected him with a cold or disiease. the Shortest Choir members were also choosen to be the ones to link arms with Provoçe to, once again make him look tall

(OOC: I thought i'd add to this just so u could all get a sense of the kind of leader and country Bulgislavia is)
