**BREAKING NEWS**

GWO News Studio, Magna Polis-

"The first strike in a new campaign to eradicate Left-Wing politics has begun. The Spire announced today "Operation: Totalitarianism", a new campaign coordinated by not only Law Enforcement Agencies, but also by the Army. Rumors suggest that the Special Tactics Force will strongly be involved. Today, the Operation began with the raiding of thousands of Colleges and Universities nation-wide, with Civilian Control Officers and Army soldiers interrogating the students, taking any suspected Left-Wing activists to on-scene Judges for sentencing. Most sentences were 10 years to life in prison, where only hours producing military equipment will count as jail-time. Political groups targeted in this Operation mainly are Anarchists and Liberals, but other groups are liable for arrest. Communists are not targeted by this Operation."

So said the familiar GWO Anchorman, Michael Jun.

While most Left-Wing groups were already illegal before this Operation, the Government has decided to crackdown further, as Leftist activity has been on a steady increase.

The screen switches to a picture of the Spire, and a black box with a quote appears. The quote is only credited as being from "-The Spire". The quote itself says, "As it has been known, our nation is great. Our economy is well above average, our armies are strong, and our Government has control. We, are indeed in control."

"The government is now establishing Martial Law in Left-Wing communities. Already, several public Left-Wing speakers have been executed by the Government. Many believe that the International Community will get involved."

((OOC: I ask that you use no Nuclear or EMP weapons, and that you keep Chemical/Biological weapons limited.

Geography of the GWO-

The GWO has no homeland. It is a collection of around 118 provinces across the world, most of them former countries that collapsed. Magna Polis is a massive artificial island built around an island on the tip of the Alaskan Archipelago. The Spire sits on the island, and the rest of the city floats around it, supported by helium containers and steel supports. It's provinces are mainly named after the 118 known Scientific Elements. The population and export of the province help decide which element it is named after. For example, Tungsten is a moderate sized Province that exports large amounts of Tungsten for military weaponry. Gold is a massive Province where Gold is found. Some provinces don't have major exports, but large populations. Those provinces are named after less famous elements, such as Americium, Europium, Mendleevium, et cetera.))
Stoklomolvi

[OOC: Huzzah, a PMT RP with communists in it!]

One community of 788 Stoklomolvi in Western Europe was placed under martial law alongside other leftists. 85 of them took up arms against the rule of GWO, and soon after there was a total of 300 dissenters.

As the Stoklomolovi citizens began to take up arms, news came to the Provincial Capital, and ultimately to the Continential State Capital (Built like Berlin, capital building is a modern version of the Reichstag). The Province of Iron (Which is in Western Europe) quickly initiated a Lockdown on City #31. The Iron Civilian Control Unit began closing down the Sector Gates and putting concrete barricades on the City Gates, checking the IDs of everyone going through.

Meanwhile, Civilian Control Officers began their ominous enterance into the sectors that the troublemakers were in. The gate they entered was still open, but concrete barricades prevented anyone else from going in or out, and RSAVs, along with more CCU infantry, made sure of that. CCU motorcycles (Essentially 1940's BMWs, same motorcycle used by the German Army during WWII) led the way in, followed by patrol cars, and then followed by foot patrols.

((OOC: CCU is considered a part of the Miltiary, so they share their budget with them. Their vehicles are lightly armored, as a high percentage of citizens own rifles.))
