New Paramus would inevitably a center of fighting ever since Democratic Calaveras became a sattelite state of Zanski.
It was a tent city originally, the tents being replaced by tin shacks and slums after hostilities ended, and finally mansions built by Zanski for the communist warlords, native and foreign.
When the calaveran crisis offered Zanski a strip of land to colonise, it invaded and gradually increased its borders, before declaring independence. Just a year after, one million Zansk settlers were aproved to settle in what used to be a hamlet called Ferna, but what zanski renamed New Paramus (Naja Fermiz), after the city in which Zanski's forward thinking, liberal leader, Azani, hailed from. Then two million Calaverans moved in to get good business. Of course, the Zansk settlers set up a nationalist group, called New Paramus Zansk Coalition, which nearly started a civil war just after the Calaveran crisis died down.
The Zansk in DC are now referred as Kalavars.
The Zansk army was told to shoot anyone that moved, and hostilities died down. The leaders of NPZC were hanged.
But yesterday, former supporters organised and declared 'Turkalavar' (Land of the Kalavars). Sixty people were killed in the street battles that followed, and a Zansk post was overrun after a Zansk soldier shot at a Kalavar militiaman.
Turkalavar have vowed to organise riots in Calaveran villages, and to attack any Zansk soldiers that attack them. Turkalavar also has different factions in it, like Red Turkalavar, the communists. But for now these are just nicknames.
