Due to the fact that the current interim government is not valid due to a technicality, the elections planned for later this year are being held early. Elections for both Prime Minister and Parliament are being held, with a plethora of parties competing, and it's anyone's game.
The main candidates for Prime Minister are:
Christopher Sover (Democratic Republican Party)
Stanley Neniven (Moderate Socialist Party)
Steven Grimmeberger (Center-Right Coalition)
Zahree Vinnia (Civil Rights Party)
Xavier Nichels (Communist Party)
Theodore Zimmers (Nationalist Party)
Colin Ayems (Federalist Party)
Current Parliamentary Breakdown:
Democratic Republican Party: 21%
Moderate Socialist Party: 46%
Center-Right Coalition: 21%
Civil Rights Party: .6%
Communist Party: .4%
Nationalist Party: 6%
Federalist Party: 5%
OOC: People can post international responses and such to the results of the elections as they go along. Or nations could give clandestine aid to parties they support. Or something like that.
