The Periodic Table of Nationstates

OOC: Either I've spent too much time here or in chemistry or both...

Many of the chemical elements, in real life, are named after places (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemical_elements_named_after_places) or people (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemical_elements_named_after_people). However, names such as "europium" and "americium" might not be very meaningful in a multiverse with a different history and geography!

So, what does the world of NationStates call the elements? Have any scientists or locations that elements they should be named after? Because when you're sending an atomic bomb upon your enemies, the most important factor is whether that plutonium is named after my puppet nation (http://www.nationstates.net/plutoni). :p

In Vojvodina-Nihon we call the elements earth, air, fire, water, and aether.

Any other elements are a vile heresy perpetrated by the agents of the Devil, although we're willing to accept handwavium, because that's what we build our gravships and cold fusion reactors from.
