Jaime had now returned to Clan space, and preparations for departure had already been made no more than fifteen minutes after his return. A small fleet of small warships had been assembled, and a single Zeus-class Fleet Station was being towed along by a temporary fleet of JumpShips. The staging point was around the Caligula Wormhole; the destination was a charted star some two thousand lightyears to the 'East' of Caligula. But first, a few pieces of information were necessary before final preparations could be made.
"Captain on deck," said the first officer of the Saber-class Strike Frigate Aggamemnon as Jaime stepped onto the bridge.
"Continue as you were," Jaime said, and the crew did just that. "Helm, signal the fleet by moving towards the Wormhole now. Comms, is that message ready?"
"Aff, Star Colonel."
"Good," Jaime replied as the ship lurched forward. "Once we exit the Wormhole at Caligula, transmit it on a wideband frequency to the Coredians. Tactical, is the fleet formed up?"
"Confirmed, Star Colonel," replied the TacCon. "All two hundred Sabers and all eight hundred Cerberus corvettes are forming on us. The JumpShips towing the Fleet Command Station are following as closely behind us as they can."
"Excellent," Jaime said. "It is good to know everything is going without a hitch. Alright, Helm. Take us through."
"With pleasure, sir."
Soon, the Aggamemnon increased its velocity, and as if it were a game of monkey-see-monkey-do, the entire fleet followed suit. It wasn't long before the first group of ships passed through the event horizon of the wormhole, and suddenly, they vanished. Each group of ships began to vanish, one by one, until nothing remained of them within Clan space.
--------------
An hour later, the fleet emerged from the Wormhole, a clear view of Caligula before them. Their immense numbers would be easily noticeable to anyone observing, and any who were would soon be greeted by this message...
Attention, Coredians of the Caligula system. We mean no harm, and are merely passing through to a star two thousand lightyears from here. We wish for a representative of your nation and a representative of the Huntarian Alliance to meet us at the designated star we are on route to. All will be revealed there.
"Message sent, sir," announced the Comms.
"Excellent," Jaime said. "Alright, all ships, jump on my mark...Mark!"
And with a brilliant flash, the fleet engaged their Kearney-Fuchida drives, and the entire fleet vanished from the Caligula system to appear in the uninhabited star system within ten seconds of their departure. The fleet immediately went to work, deploying Nelson-class patrol boats to scout the area while the main fleet moved in towards a nearby gas giant to set up their Fleet Command Station in geosynchronous orbit.
