It appears as though none of the canidates can acquire a majority vote needed to be declared the victor. Campaign officals along with Election officals are working hard to hammer out the tallies for all canidates but it is obvious that for the government to stay together and not collapse, another election must be held between the two leading contenders. Tirik Ansari has been asked by the Special Election Committee to drop out of the race. Stanislav Jazjck voluntarily stepped down. This leaves only two canidates left. During such times, which happen often due to the numerous political parties in Kulikovia, special elections between the two top canidates must be held while the others must drop out.

So, We are left with Chancellor Gunther Rhinehardt and Alexsandr Nevsky. Who will be Kulikovia's next leader?

Regular Election Thread (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=547271), just for reference. Why did the ultimate vote come down to Rhinehardt and Nevsky? Rhinehardt was first with 34.29% of the vote, true, but Jazjck was second, with 31.43%, with Nevski coming in third with 28.57%.
Oh, shoot, I just realized that the poll may still be open, which means that the one vote that Jazjck is leading by, along with the vote that would have tied them up, meaning that at the time you checked Nevski may well have been in second place. So disregard the majority of this paragraph, excluding this sentence.

The Empire still endorses Chancellor Gunther Rhinehardt, as, with Stanislav Jazjck out of the running he strikes us as by far the best candidate for the Kulikovian people.
