It has only been about a month since the states of Armani and Moria were formed, but it didn't take long for the two state's primary religions to clash. As the Islamic state of Armani's leaders said, " There are not two states, but two diputed lands. We call on you brothers, to clear the infidels from our land". As he never officiallt told the people of Armani to "kill" the infidels, a chain of suicide bombings rang across Moria today, leaving 218 people dead.
In response, the Morian National Guard Has been called to secure the borders, but as a mainly Christian state, the legislature has not yet decided on an official response. The leaders of Moria have also called upon a meeting with Orbathian officailas to intervene in the situation, before an all out war has begun. This is Michael Portman for CCn, more on the story as it develops.

We now have breaking news here in Moria. In retaliation to the suicide bombing earlier today, Christian extremists have burned down three mosques, accounting for a total of 68 deaths, and 11 injuries. Among the dead is an extremely influential Islamic leader, named Ameen Khardish. Is this caused an outpour of grief among the Ilsamic community here in Cripistan, and is expected to spark more violence in the upcoming hours. Stay tuned as this crisis between Armani and Moria amplifies.

Letter from Venerable Dashie Camel, of the emerging Dashie empire to leaders of the world

Citizens of the world. We cannot let the atrocities of Armani go unpunished. These blatent acts of destruction are an insult to not only the Muslim religion, but to us all. Therefore, I have assembled a task force of government employees to consider our options for dealing with the crisis in Moria in the future.

We at Dashie are no stranger to terrorist acts. Our large Muslim population overwhelmingly condemns these acts, and are collectively calling for action against the terrorist nation of Armani. We also ask the people of Moria to have patience, as vigilante justice just leaves both eyes blind.

Thank you, and good night.

Therefore, we would like to include a diplomat from Orbath in the diplomatic party, if that is acceptable to your government. Good evening, as you were told before, violence has erupted here in Armani and in the state of Moria. Islamic extremists carried out more bombings today, reportedly on a small marketplace that is just beyond the Armani-Morian border. The death tolls now are at 27, with 21 more injured. Among the dead is a CCN news reporter who was doing an interview on the local economy. Morian officals have said that they are trying to contact their Orbathian superiors to try to end this conflict.

The situation just added to a growing heap of problems with the operation in Cripistan. With a major contributor having left, all the work had been placed upon Orbath. Not only did they have to contend with normal operations and heavy fighting in the CRU, now they had two previously peaceful states that they had established fighting. If things went on like this, Orbath would not be able to afford remaining in the theater. They sent a message to both Moria and Armani.

It is with deep sorrow I see that you have once again become locked in combat with your neighbors. Is it too much to ask to see the region at peace? Is it too much to ask that you stop fighting like pre school children and work together? We have been your crutch and this had cost us. We cannont afford to keep this support up, especially if your going to cause us more problems. We ask that you invoke a ceasefire agreement and head to the diplomatic tables. If something is not worked out within the next week, all ties and all support will be cut to both your nations. With no crutch, you are sure to fall.

We cannot take this move lightly. With careful planning, the subjugation of the Cripistani state can be done. Currently, the situation holds that the Armani is unable to field their own forces. Here is what I suggest.

A false war between our men. There is little for the Armani to trust you, however, there is no reason for the Armani to not trust me and my children. I suggest that I come to the Armani assistance to overthrowing their Christian states. Through significant military assistance, I will assist in establishing an Armani state, where immediately I will pull out assistance and infrastructure, allowing a weakened Armani government with extensive territory to cover to fend for themselves against us both. It is much more cost effective than risking an open possible two front war.

We must paint ourselves as heroes to one side or the other, not as conquerors so that our enemies may be reduced, for the sake of military cost and economics.

I have no interest in religious squabbles, and my market can always expand. Surely you see the same as I do.

Assumming there are commercial flights for tourism and other activities ----

A number of agents from Notra Talerimus boarding commercial flights under assumed identities from third party "lack" territories.

Mohamed Al Saad, his assumed identity, started everything by first going to a local market with his spray pen, containing a viral agent.

He started his devilish plot by spraying fruits and vegetables sold in the market. The agent was designed to be odorless and tasteless.

He even had the nerve to spray it directly into the face of individuals - the gas mixture would likely go unnoticed except as a light puff of air.

He had already consumed the antiviral agent and as such had no fears.

This was the first such action of N.T. a group which held only the true faith as valid, in these Christian and muslim lands, everyone was against the faith.

Other terror agents were doing shopping of their own.

Sabio another assumed name meanwhile had just killed the maid of the hotel he was staying at, and using her service keys was set to start killing indiscriminate guests - as odd as this situation seemed it was all part of a greater plan to cause instability. Of course hiding behind the door with a tranq gun may work one time - there was a margin for error.

The seven agents were here simply to cause "overload of the system in majority faith to increase the death and attrition.

Once the other 5 agents had their explosive composites, the power system was first on their list.

OOC: We still goin' to do that one election thing?

The Empire was quite invested in the region; the as of yet unofficial Errikan colony, Errikan Cripistan, awaited a vote of the people that would decide if it became independent or a part of the Empire. They had already directly invested quite a bit in it, developing an effective infrastructure system, building cities from the ground up, and developing mining and industry where there was none before. The local Cripistani leadership assured Errikan officials that the Cripistani people, who had in fact flocked to the territory in droves, understood how much the Errikans had done for them, and would vote to stay with them.

And now the remainder of the isle fell into chaos.

The Errikan government was torn. They could hardly do nothing; this much was clear. The bulk of the Cripistanis in the territory, the vast majority of the population, had migrated there either after the annexation or shortly before, with the civil war, and certainly maintained some interests in the rest of the isle. In such a conflict, it would have been typical Errikan policy to be supportive of Moria, the Christians, whom the Errikans felt somewhat culturally akin to. However, with the Errikan population of Errikan Cripistan being only a minority, and most of the local Cripistani population being Islamic, the government understood that they walked a fine line.

They needed to do something, and their decision would have to come soon.

After hearing about the threats from Orbath to cut ties, many of the civillians urged both extremist groups to stop the fighting. But unfortunatley, they would have no such luck. Both groups blamed the other for the mureders of 6 hotel workers, ( referring to Intracircumcordei's post) and another 21 people died, and 16 in critical condition after they were poisened. This caused even more attacks. The Muslims decided to take thing to the next level. This time, they hijacked Governor Michael Gray's plane, killing him, his wife, 21 year old son, his 4 guards on the plane. The pilot, who was trusted, was paid off months in advance. This sparked riots all over Moria, and caused approxiametly U$60 Million in damage.

The government was unsure of what the next move was to be. It was evident that many people wanted the violence to end. It was also evident that various groups did not. They were hell bent of destroying the other. In the days and weeks before the nations had degraded into fighting, intelligence had been gathered by both satellite and local operatives. Using that information, military commanders planned an attack.

Operation Slaughtered Snake

The Orbathain Navy still had a blockade in place around the island. In addition to the naval blockade, several Ohio class subs sat close to Armani and Moria. They had been there since the start of the fighting and had launched several strikes throughout the conflict. Now they would be called upon again. Their missiles tubes were loaded up. Their strike would coordinate with the air strikes.

From the aircraft carriers, a total of 12 F-36 Gladius aircraft took to the air. After only a short distance, they split, 6 destined for Moria, 6 for Armani. They flew for another short distance before they found themselves just entering Morian and Armanian airspace. They didn't expect resistance, though it was possible.

They knew it meant something was about to happen, but weren't sure what. Worst of all, they didn't who the planes belonged too. The bomber was allegedly a 23 year old Islamic male, who served as a private. As of right now, there is no word on the death toll, but it is expected to be large. As you can see, the explosive was set of in the kitchen of the eating quarters. This was also at the time where the soldiers were eating. The 3 explosives were all detonated remotley, at the same time. This also ignited flames, spreading to the other bunkers where some soldiers were either sleeping, or just relaxing. As you can see, and hear, there are many ambulances here, along with helicopters to airlift the most critically injured to nearby New Hoffuf Central Medical Center, in New Hoffuf. I am now declaring war on us all: A WAR OF PEACE. Let us not fight with guns but with words of debate. Let us not bleed our bodies but bleed papers with inks of treaties. Let us not die for one, but die for all! Let it be known that on this night, the War for Peace has begun!

A loud roar from the crowd signifies the end of the General's speech. He waves to the jubilant crowd from atop his balcony of triumph.

The explosion in the mess hall killed 25 soldiers and injured many more. All Armani and Morian soldiers were ordered to return to their barracks and wait until further notice. Those that didn't would be fined.

In both Moria and Armani, olive drab painted C-130 aircraft touched down on similar balck runways. Overhead, fighter aircraft circled like hawks. The cargo ramp on both aircraft opened and the honor gaurd marched out. Upon reaching the tarmac, they began double timing it towards the buildings, where the representatives were sure to be.

OOC: Is General Stern still attending?

To: Orbath Representative.
From: General Stern of Nadroji

I would still like to attend the peace meeting between the two factions. I find myself too involved in this conflict to sit this one out. At the moment i am at a safe location in the city and have a safe path to the meeting place. I wish for a peaceful meeting and an end to this madness.

Signed,
General George F. Stern

After General Stern's speech, the extermeists found him, as a new threat. They began more preachings to convinve more people to do suicide acts. It would only be a matter of time before another act occured.

After hearing news on the threats of the extremists, General Stern is at his disclosed position weighing his options. He wants the Orbath government to grant him permission to bring in Nadrojian troops to protect his and the civilians lives in the conquest for peace.

TO: Orbath Government
FROM: General Stern

I would like to have permission to bring in a maximum of 100 soldiers to monitor the streets of your capital and assist you on your quest to bring peace between the two factions. If it is not allowed I fully understand and will wait it out. If you do not accept I ask for a few of your men to accompany my body guards in keeping me safe while in your city.

Official Government Message

Though we understand your wish to keep yourself safe, we simply can't allow you to send large amounts of soldiers. We will be lenient though. Instead of just being allowed bodyguards, you will be allowed no more than 25 soldiers as additional protection. We will provide 6 M-49 Terrier Infantry Fighting Vehicles, 6 HMMWVs, 2 Armored SUVs and 8 marked police cars. In addition we will also provide snipers and ground forces to block off the route, keep on a lookout for bombs and provide close protection. In addition to this, 2 Bellicus Attack Helicopters will also provide support.

The 25 Nadrojian troops take up their positions at the Nadrojian Headquarters in Orbath. It is here where General Stern will await the decisions of the two warring factions and the Orbath Government regarding the peace meeting.

General Stern prepares for an interview with NNN back in Nadroji.

" Good morning everyone in Nadroji. I am Gordon Drills from NNN and with me today is the commander of Nadroji, General George Stern himself. Welcome, sir.

"Thanks for having me Gordon".

"Now General, you have been in Orbath for four days now, any idea how long you will be there.

"Like I promised before I will not leave this city until a peace agreement has been made or when the Orbath government kicks me out."

"Interesting. Can you tell us what is going on today in Orbath?"

"Well today I will be awaiting a message from all of the parties involved on when this peace meeting will take place. As of right now things have calmed down a bit but we are still taking the necessary measures to ensure safety."

" I see. Last question sir. Can you shed any light on the current situation back here where there are still guerrilla groups attacking small villages."

"Well when I get back home I will be enacting a continuance of Martial Law that will crack down on those militant groups and hopefully we can forge ahead into a successful nation."

"Thank you, sir and good luck in Orbath. We hope to see you soon.

"Alright thank you."

"General Stern everybody. We'll be right back.

Tell me please, how much money has your nation invested? How many of your nations soldiers have died? How many have seen the unspeakable horrors? How many have worked so hard to see peace, and are met with conflict time and time again? Last time I checked, you have invested no money and sent no soldiers. You don't know what goes on. You have intelligence but it just gives you an outline. You can't actually feel it. You haven't actually lived it. This is no bluff. If these two states cannot cease, we can't continue like this.

It is not our issue that you fail to see the cultural strife within the state when you're investing, nor is it our issue that you have so foolishly sent in troops without considerable financial deliberation. Do not speak to me about whether I know what is going on or not, as I have one absolute truth that needs no intelligence - the fact that you have failed in this endeavour is truth enough.

Perhaps it is time for some conflict. It is not a time to grease the wheels of war, but perhaps my declaration will make light upon this subject. I have the support of seventy four cities to support the Armani. The premise is simple. They have my support. There is little else for me to say, and I will take appropriate action in this skirmish.

Firstly, it is not us who have failed, it is them. That is why they are known as a ''failed state'', this is why we are there. The actions of the former government and now the new state governments and rebel leaders are the reason there is failure. We have spent nearly a year righting the wrongs and trying to make this nation better. It appears that at lease some are willing to work to see peace and so, we shall give them the chance.

Secondly, since day one this has been our mission. Since day one we have worked along side close allies to see this nation rise from the ashes. What makes you think that you should be able to walk right in and provide support now. If you wanted to help, you should have done it in the first place.

After hearing that they had the support of Jenrak, the Islamic extremeists took their war to a new level. They carried out an attack on a rally for Orbath and General Stern which killed 141 people. This was by far the worst single attack since the tensions began. It would now be a new war. The Muslims guaranteed a victory, which gained more support from other Islamic groups in the region.

OOC: Nadroji, the meeting isn't in Orbath, it's in Moria.

OOC: Oh alright.

General Stern is contemplating his next move. None of his soldiers were killed in the attack but 2 were wounded. He wonders about which side he will take on this upcoming war or if he will remain neutral and push for peace. It seems at this time peace is out of the question.

Official Statement of the Nadroji Government

At this time General Stern will remain in Orbath until he feels it is safe to move to the meeting place in Moria. If the situation escalates, he will be forced to leave the country until the situation dies down. If this occurs, Colonel Gorbachev will remain in Orbath unless it becomes even more dangerous. The governments main goal is still making peace.

You failed to understand where I lay the failure. On the note of my intrusion into this, you would ask what I think that makes me able to walk right in and provide support? An army.

At the Necromarnen, the council of 96 was underway. It was a hellbent council, a giant rotunda of people seated around a semicircle as every lord from every city in silence, waiting and anticipating the situation to blossom into something else. It was painstakingly quiet, and the darkness of the room was only supported by the candlelit flicker of the torchlights. The screens around them flickered and shimmered, as finally before the entrance doors Miriana Treyuko had walked into the center of the massive ensemble. He was dressed as he always was - draped in silvery cloth, a silken flow to his robes as his eyes half closed in almost a droll silence, his long and thick mat of black hair tied back at the end to prevent strands creeping up his shoulders. He looked at the groups around him, each of them sitting how they wished - some leaned, some sat upright, some stood. It wasn' a formal collection of bodies here, but rather a grouping or meeting of those who showed up. Miriana looked around once more, and he placed a microphone upon his neck, pressed it slightly to his throat. It vibrated gently before desisting.

"Lords of the 96 Crowns, I welcome all of you to this conference." He spoke, as the room's many eyes leered upon him. "There is only one request I make right now. Your support for this endeavor. The majority votes so far make it a Six clause majority, and in this situation I have a reasonable force to send." He walked around, thinking to himself, before he raised his head and spoke once more. Every word he spoke carried little conviction, little charisma, but it was frightening and absurdly worrisome. "There's a problem right now in a far off land, where two religious cultures are clashing against each other. I will admit I have no care about such a group of barbarians, but it would be most feasible to continue chasing this market." He said, as a small flame of talk ensued.

One of them, a brown haired woman in a crisp black suit and a torn left eye, frowned heavily. "The market right now isn't in a condition to take the arms manufacturing industry. There's too large a gap right now, and there's no point in making this market profitable." She said, as Miriana nodded in agreement.

"That's appropriate and correct, Rakshan." Miriana commented. "However, our goal isn't to forge an arms industry, but to forge the neglected market in the the chaos. We are to send aid and supplies fresh with soldiers to assist them. And once regions have stabilized, we will employ our own carpenters to work on constructing and repairing their world." He explained. Another one, a tall long haired man with a thin and wiry body, stood up.

"Miriana, why this nation? You haven't taken interest in a long time, and now why this country?" He asked, as the others awaited Miriana's response. Why now? Why this nation, a country that carried no relations to the Amalgamate? It was a tense, uneasy situation, and the flickering of the flames only wafted a stench of distaste, Miriana pausing only slightly to collect his thoughts.

"The Expediaus are growing too numerous. They're growing too numerous, too uneasy, too thirsty. I want to replenish two things - their thirst, and our nation's coffers with their blood." Miriana explained, and the others nodded.

"So you want to make money by taking parts of this nation?" The man asked, the others standing up in complete disagreement. It wasn't the subject of sending soldiers to take innocent nations that made them uneasy, but rather the sense of spending their lives so that the budget could be freed up. Miriana was tactful and thought well ahead into the nation's current condition, but what he proposed was too inhuman. He wanted men in other nations, and he wanted them to die so that the military budget could be freed up of a few income brackets. "Isn't this inhumane?" He asked.

"This is war, Zakkala." Miriana replied back with a tone of finality. "The moment I made my announcement, I decided that we are going to war. If you want to overthrow me, just try. Go ahead, but you have no idea how to properly manage your own city's economics well enough to overwhelm me. Will you take up the challenge? I welcome you any time." Miriana had no mercy for those who did not act. "Those who wish to assist me, give me your excess. I will put them to a good use." With that, the council was adjourned.

On the outskirts of Haasdra, transport ships and carriers were docked within the greenish haze of the Viraigius, the washing tides roaring as waterfalls smashed upon the crown-shaped rocks that stabbed out of the sea. With every white spirit that sprayed upon the reddish sand, grain fell into the sea as the ocean bled around the lands. The yelling and roaring of the labor organizing amidst the massive cranes that carried the tanks and the men, the Temsplace holding their ceremonies. Of the 96 cities, only 40 had men to spare, but they made up hundreds within the force immediately, with thousands coming.

Relief workers and aides rushed alongside construction crew, and all the manner of logistical staff boarded upon the floating islands that were the carriers. Miriana had watched from the height of the Zarazego, the obelisk smashed against the wind, the howling of the morning gust billowing sand unto the dunes.

To the Armani who seek aid so - where would you like my assistance?

It would be greatly appreciated if you could land your men at Sadr Port. There will be heavy resistance by the Orbathian Blockade, so you might need warships.
