A potted history

The Space Federation is a future tech nation 30 light years from earth. If a nation does not possess the means to reach us a request can be submitted through our NSUN office for diplomatic transport.

We also have a quite unusual population inbalance with 90% of the population being female due to several factors in our history. We are a high technology nation with twin homeworlds (Primus and Beta) and are primarily peaceful explorers.

Our national animal is the tribble and the federation is peaceful. We do follow the old samurai ways of Bushido although. The samurai can be recognised by the swords they are required by honour to wear whenever possible.

The main languages spoken are old earth Japanese and English given we came from Earth in our distant past.

no you can't as you can not enter the Void Dimension as you don't know how or have the Tech too and not only that if you could you are from Known Space the ship and crew would start to decay the very second it enters the Void Dimension

The Zircon were not known for diplomacy, even less so than the Mekantans they served. After all, what need had a weapon for anything more diplomatic than "do what I say or I shoot you" or other simple threats?

Kaethxal, Hivemaster of the Ihkasutaran Swarm, was the exception. Several times before, the Rehnaematothraak, the Goddess All-Consuming, had sent him to make contact. He was the only Zircon to have been sent to a world not to intimidate or threaten, but to establish an EM-BAH-SEH.

... That didn't mean he knew how to do paperwork, however, or even how to write. Such things were never relevant, and most things he dealt with remembered answers roared at them by a giant monster that shredded warship armor with its bare talons.

"Full name of nation... I, Kaethxal, serve the mighty Galactic Hegemony of Neo-Mekanta! You dare ask me again!?" The thirty foot high behemoth (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v384/MachinaKyrios/Third-Generation%20Renders/Zircon%20Evolution/Worker1.jpg) glared down at the piece of paper he was given by the Mekantans, the azure eye in the center of his "head" glowing brightly. "I have devestated entire planets in the name of the Goddess All-Consuming. The blood of millions has been spilled by these claws. And you have the audacity to ask the full name of my nation!?"

His rant finished, Kaethxal released the energy he had built up in his eye, the Zircon's built-in beam weaponry creating a shaft of light in the sky visible for miles. Regaining his composure, he glared down at the piece of paper again.

"Full name of nation... Were you not listening!?"

It was twelve hours before a system that responded to verbal commands was delivered. Having been ordered by the Goddess All-Consuming not to destroy the paper, Kaethxal had not stopped roaring at it.


Kaethxal glared at the spherical computer, from which dangled a sign reading "THASSA'KYA'TIH" or "Do Not Attack" in Mekantan.

"... We serve the Goddess All-Consuming. SEE-OH-KRASH-EEH I believe is the term. ... Mostly we rule over lesser beings through fear and force. Terraspeak is not my strongest point, but I would think 'hegemony' would be quite clear."

Kaethxal simply glared at the orb.

"I'm a Zircon! A living weapon of mass destruction! I have single handedly torn battleships to shreds, levelled fortresses, destroyed many, many worlds! You ask me if I need security!? ... I shall bring five elite Hivelords, purely for intimidation."

Kaethxal growled, shoo-ing the orb with a claw. "Do not return without news."

Their primary weapons: The ambassador, the Hivelords, and any Zircon structure they grow ARE weapons. Most notable are claws, Zircon Beams projected from thier "eyes," and the ability to infest/consume any material to make more Zircon flesh or more Zircon.
Number of civilian staff: The Zircon don't have civillians
Number of vehicles you require: The Zircon do not make use of vehicles aside from the warships they grow, but if for security reasons (security for your people) you wish to ferry the ambassador around away from people, such is acceptable.

Special Diplomatic Note: High pitched sound will cause the Zircon to attack the source and seek its utter oblitoration.

The cabinet considered this request very carefully. They weren't xenophobes in anyway but the Neo-Mekantan's would need special arrangements especially in regard to high pitched noises.

The decision was made to accept the application and to establish an embassy in return if that was possible. After all contact with other beings and nations was their aim.
