Nearly 10,000 citizens turned out to protest agianst Der Fuhrers invasion of The Holy Republic of Mountain Life today in the capital city of Lebenhaust. The protest although peaceful were a violation of the law, Der Fuhrer dispatched several units of the Gestapo Der Fuhrers own personal secret police force to qwell this protest. At the site of the Gestapo these protestors began to turn violent and began chanting obsenities about Der Fuhrer which is also a violation of our laws.Several hundred protestors were killed in the minor dispute with the government authorities. The rest have been taken into custody and are awaiting immediate execution as traitors to the Reich.Der Fuhrer is quoted as saying "I have no compassion for these traitors and i shall personnaly over see the restoration of order in our streets" Der Fuhrer is also quoted as saying "This shall be a lesson for anyone within the reich who would think that it would be a good idea to oppose the intentions of the Reich" The execution of nearly 9,000 traitors will begin taking place as of 08:00 tommorow and shall continue well into the next day.Der Fuhrer warns all citizens that the next time they decide to protest agianst the government actions in international affairs they should think of thier families, for it will them as well who shall die for thier crimes of treason. This is accordance with the newely instated policy that states immediate family of traitors can be held indeffinatly for thier loved ones crimes as well as executed.

Though viewing the actions of Lebenscraum as drastic, The Holy Republic understands why such actions need to be taken, but yet it advises Lebenscraum to use caution when exercising such laws. It sees the actions that have been enforced my cause an even worst rebellion. The Holy Republic advises a mild pardon on the manner to a select few individuals in an effort to ease public viewing on the situation. It sees that by issuing pardons citizens might feel as if they’ve “won” a battle, and yet the government will still maintain control.
Furthermore, The Holy Republic of Yakana would like to offer assistance to Levenscraum with Military Police, if need be. This is in an effort to prevent further protests within the nation and hopes to reduce the amount of “Treachery” charges. It views that a strong police presence may discourage further protesting.

Der Fuhrer applauds your support of the rights of a sovereign nation and is pleased that his actions at least on your part have not been condemned as inhumane. Treason is a crime if unpunished will erode the fabric of any nation and should be condemned and dealt with harsh and swiftly. Agian thank you for your support of Lebenscraum and her laws.

It didn't take long for the news of the mass murder of peaceful demonstrators and the subsequent arrest and death sentences of large numbers of other "traitors" and their families to reach the Commonwealth. Of course the internal affairs of such small nations were of little concern to the people and the government and such no official action was taken. A few newspapers ran Op Eds denouncing the crackdown and some of the more leftist politicians and activists decried the move, but the incident barely registered on minds of most Tolvans.

Still, such an obviously despotic and unstable regime had to be monitored, lest it's instability spread and effect things that Tolvan did care about, such as commerce.

As a result the decision was made to send a small force to monitor the situation and to let Lebenscraum know that it's actions hadn't completely escaped the Commonwealth's notice. No official messages or diplomatic communiques would be sent, the Foreign Office had far more important things to attend to.

Fifty knots outside of Lebenscraumian waters

Force L, the Tolvanic task force sent to keep an eye on things in Lebenscraum had arrived on station shortly after midnight and began a leisurely patrol well outside Lebenscraumian territorial waters. The TF flagship, the carrier Pelican, was maintaining a small but vigilant cap of F-28s and a strike package of F-28s and F/A-39s sat on the deck ready to launch in ten minutes notice if the locals were stupid enough to attack a Tolvanic battle group in international waters. Patrolling alongside the carrier were two County class AAW destroyers, two Town class ASW destroyers, and three Leader class frigates. In addition the task force also included a couple fleet tenders and two amphibous assault ships carrying a Marine battalion (-). There were also a Resolute class cruiser and two Shark class attack subs operating under TF command but deployed seperately.

All in all it was a small but very effective force and easily enough to ensure the unrest inside of Lebenscraum stayed there.

The Kingdom of Dashie also applauds your vigilance in cracking down on treasonous activity. Just yesterday, I am happy to announce that 20 treasonous traitors were publicly hanged in our capital city, 'Lighthouse' for proven ties with our evil, inhuman enemies. Police assistance would be most appreciated in some of the smaller towns in our nation. The Gestapo is very powerful but is becoming increasingly over stretched because of their need to be several places at once. The suggestion of pardonning some of the traitors however is not a possibility due to Der Fuhrers view of the international community, we believe that this will show a sign of weakness on our part. Also we cannot heed to Torvun, this would play into the Commonwealth's hands as propaganda agianst Lebenscraum. Der Fuhrer believes that his harshness and swiftness agianst the traitors will serve as an example to all who may desire another protest or rebellion. Along with his new legislation that took effect at midnight. This radical group is a small sect in our nation anyways so stampimg them out will not allowing them to spread the radical ideology throughout our nation.

As the fog lifted 20 miles outside the port city of Berlinner, Lebenscraum Admiral Keates recieved the first visual sighting of the Commonwealth of Torvun's grand fleet aboard the Flagship Tanniger. "Quite impressive" he muttered "Now i can see Der Fuhrer's urgency"

From the bridge he silently ordered the Unilateral fleet into battle formation 5.Which is a standard formation used in defense of blockade's. Admiral Keates noted the readiness of the Torvun battle group. This increased his urgency as he ordered "Ahead half steam into battle formation 5"

The ships are fully in a ready position, several sonar ships were placed making it impossible for any submarine to get into the harbor. Admiral Keates repeatadly confirms the order to "HOLD FIRE" until fired opun.

Der Fuhrer orders the command Admiral to hold his position and not to do anything provacative torwards the Torvun battle group. Disipline he demands from the admiral down to lowliest seamen. Duty as usual.

Admiral Keates stands on the bridge watching the Torvun battle group knowing the Torvun admiral on the opposite side is watching him as well. One nation a great power the other a mesh of allies but both rather equally matched. Admiral Keates asked his first Officer Captain Heydrich what was the last communique from the support fleet? "Two hours ago sir they were five hours away then" Good he says send this communique to Vice-Admiral Hess. "Engines to full steam give it all you got an overwhelming show of force is the only thing can possible send the Torvun fleet packing out of our waters and end this bloody stalemate, once and for all"

The Admiral a man of war himself is weary of another conflict, but at the same time would gladly die for his country. For he is one of those old school sailors who will fight to the last man and go down with his ship. Hopefully it wont have to come to the last resort, the last resort that all Lebenscraum sailors know is a reality in a dire situation. This last resort is among the most terrible things and no sailor wants it to come down to simply ramming the other ships. This is only excercised when their is no other option and it is far from that. But this is surprisingly far from the Admirals mind.


"Captain take command of tarringer and the fleet, i will be in my quarters" says the Admiral and "prepare a statement for the Torvun battle fleet". "Even though cruel actions agianst traitors have led to this stand-off we shall still fight a gentleman, we will not attack without at least 1 minutes notice to the Torvun battle fleet"

Also, do you really think I'd let your ships get anywhere near my fleet without moving? Do somehow they just waltz up to visual range of my fleet, which is in international waters to begin with.

I'm not gonna bother to reply for reasons stated in the other thread, conisder my fleet magically disappeared.

If a state is to be victorious against a foreign enemy, the enemy within must first be destroyed.
