Defensive need to knows:
-Rykaria is an extremely mountainous land, therefore the only way around many of the mountain ranges is through extremely long tunnels or mountain roads. however, the Rykarian government has realized these tunnels and roads could be used by invading armies and it has been made so sections of the tunnels can be easily collapsed at a moments notice by military explosives specialists in order to block advancing armies, and rockslides can be triggered to block the roads.
- Some houses, condos, high rises, and apartment buildings in Rykarian cities hide Anti aircraft guns or Artillery guns in their subsections which can be deployed quickly by local military forces. Some houses in cities are all together fake, actually being home to multiple AA guns, this is for purposes of camouflage.
- Rykarian cities are usually filled with standard Anti-aircraft emplacements, Cities near the sea usually are fitted with both AA and Anti-ship missiles.

Militia:

The Rykarian Civilian Militia forces consist of many different types of people, From Gun owners, Survivalists, Ex military, and many more. The militia regularly trains its members, each and every one of them equipping themselves as they see fit, buying military equipment from surplus stores, and many sorts of weapons, Each province in Rykaria has it's own militia, Each militia is obviously allied with eachother, And will help the military in times of homeland invasion. The Leader believes during a time of homeland invasion the Militia would wage an unconventional Insurgent war against the invaders.

This incredible new Battle rifle has just come off the prototype line, has begun full
production, and has been adopted as the main battle rifle of the Rykarian Military.

-1. Quick access ports for the bolt, Allowing a soldier to simply pop open the hatch, give the
bolt a quick jolt if it is jammed (A rare occasion) Or Stick a bottle of Gun lube into the port,
and give the bolt a quick lubrication without having to disassemble the rifle.

-2. An adjustable ejection port for right handed or left handed shooters, What is not shown
here is the charging handle which always resides on the right side and is not adjustable.

-3. The safety selector shown on safe, One click down is single fire, Another click down is
fully automatic.

-4. The rear sight post, Adjustable out to 2,000 Meters, Modeled after a Karabiner 98K sight
post for it's ease of use and effectiveness, Can be swapped out for standard M16 Flip up peep sights or a Karabiner 98k rear sight with a peep adapter, most soldiers use the K98 peep.

-5. The front sight post, Modeled after an M4/M16/HK416 style sight post, Allows for
adjustable windage/elevation with the correct gun tool.

-6. The vented muzzle break, Reduces muzzle climb, And removes flash by allowing gas to
escape from 20 separate chambers located on the bottom, top, left, and right.

-7. The flat-top RIS rail, Allowing many mounting options, such as Reflex sights, Red dot
scopes, Long range scopes for Marksmen, and the like.

-8. A RIS Rail on the front handguard, Also allowing for many mounting options such as
vertical grips, Flashlights, and or lasers, Many soldiers are now rigging extra RIS rails to the
sides of the guard, allowing for more attachments.

-9. A compartment in the buttstock, Each rifle is shipped with a complete cleaning kit inside
the buttstock to maintain the rifle, Including an adjustable brush to fit all calibers.

-10. A quick and easy bipod mounting platform.

-11. A standard 40 round magazine, holding 8MM (8x57mm) in double-stack order, New large capacity magazines are available, Including C-mag/drum style.

-12. It's easy to clean this weapon, You simply loosen a few screws, Pop out a few pins,
And the rear of the gun slides completely out, The whole action coming with it, Allows for a
soldier to quickly Pull it out, Clean it with a solvent, And slide it back in, easy as 1. 2. 3.

This rifle consists of many interchangeable parts, The modular chamber can be replaced to
accept a variety of different caliber barrels, Making this gun able to switch from robust man-
killer calibers like the 8MM Mauser, 30-06 Springfield, and 7.62X51, To more standard rounds such as the 5.56X45, 7.62X39, Or the 6.8 grendel.

Perhaps a soldier needs a close quarters capable weapon without the recoil? No problem, simply screw in the new chamber of your choosing following standard field strip procedures, then replace the barrel using the barrel nut wrench included in the cleaning kit, changing the caliber of this firearm is quick and simple.

You may think "8MM Mauser? Are they nuts? The recoil that it generates would be herrendous!"
We've got it covered.

The unique bullpup design of the rifle allows the bolt to sit behind the magazine, And instead
of standard bolts that move backward, slamming a hunk of metal into the rear of the
receiver, creating recoil, This unique bolt compensates for recoil by utilizing moving parts
that travel down into a recess behind the magazine. This means the bolt travels vertically
and forces encountered when they reach the end of it's travel act downward, reducing
muzzle rise.

The barrels are extremely simple to change, Simply knock out the pins and loosen the
screws that hold the muzzle break on, Take the muzzle break off, And unscrew the lower
end of the foregrip, The barrel is now exposed! You simply unscrew the barrel from it's
mounting brackets inside the weapon, unscrew the barrel nut with the included barrel nut wrench,
And it will slide out. (NOTE: The gun's action has to be removed from the rear before attempting to change to a new barrel.)

One of the crown jewels of this gun is it's durability, It was put up against the current Hk416 in durability trials, 6000 Rounds were fired in total as men Dipped the guns in water, poured mud on them, Poured sand on them, and sprayed them with dust.
The HK416 had 233 stoppages.
The FG84 had 110 stoppages.

The durability of this gun was an unexpected bonus to the developers of the weapon.

The Infantryman.

- Armor
The Infantrymans armor is comprised of several layers, The first layer being his Skin tight Full body suit filled with a ballistic gel worn under his uniform. Usually black in color but many variants are camouflaged, the gel reacts when a bullet strikes the suit and The area of impact instantly becomes rock hard, deflecting the round than returning to a loose state after the impact, tests have shown this type of armor can withstand a beating, Yet it is not invincible.
The outer layer of the suit is made to protect against Biological and Chemical hazards.
It is extremely lightweight.

The second layer is The soldiers standard Plate carrier vest, Which they can insert plates made from a mixture of Steel alloys, Boron Carbide, and kevlar, Implemented within them are Wire-Matrixes that increase the strength and structural integrity. In which delivers Increased Protection to danger zones, such as the heart, groin, and gut.

An Infantrymans Combat helmet is outfitted with many layers of kevlar, And steel alloys. Most helmets also have Wire Matrixes like the plates, thus increasing the ballistic protection offered to the soldier. Military helmets are made to the standards of a high Threat level IV, able to stop multiple impacts of 30-06 and .308 with moderate damage. Comfort is a major issue so all helmets are shipped with an extremely comfortable, adjustable suspension and padding system.

This particular armor system is named "Rykarian Combat Advanced Protection System" Or "RCAPS" For short.
