To Estovokia,

We are saddened that you have had to resort to such desperate measures to defend yourself. We also hope that you will be careful with these weapons, for unlike other weapons, the use of these weapons are not as easily apologized for.

Signed,
Jim Lange,

To Estovokia,

We would like to congratulate you on this move forward in your technological advancement. Our scientists have been dealing with nuclear theory for many years now and would be more than willing to help your own in ensuring the safe development of this technology.

We are open to trade both technology and material, high grade nuclear material is rather difficult to acquire.

We await your reply with great anticipation.

Sincerely,

Michael Haina

I look on this thread with skepticism. It took the united states, and the soviet union trillions of dollars to start and maintain nuclear arms programs. To back me up, there's a really solid thread talking about nukes somewhere, i'll try to find it.

I'm just not seeing a nation that small being able to have one nuclear weapon without bankrupting itself. It doesn't seem logical.

((OOC: Build your own? UK, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Israel (they built their own), North Korea (already tested them). Be a break-away ex-soviet country and retain nukes? Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine...though they gave them all back. Karshkovia kept the nukes but does not have a nuclear program and is looking to rid themselves of the nuclear warheads but retain the ICBMs for conversion and use in their space program)
