Drigik Mritsyev: "Thank you Zania, and good evening fellow Xubrans. Our top story is actually happening right now, and is coming to you from the Palace of the Deputy-Directors. During a speech he was giving a mere 3 hours ago, the Deputy-Director for International Intelligence, Branz Flozip, was shot and killed by an unknown rifleman. A search of the area yielded nothing but a highly crafted, hand-loaded 30-06 cartridge casing from approximately 600 yards away from the podium. An emergency autopsy conducted on the Deputy-Director found a 30-06 bullet had entered through the upper area of the sternum and penetrated the heart. The Assistant to the Deputy-Director for Weaponry, Isdoni Maya had this to say:"

Isdoni Maya: "Good evening fellow Xubrans. The bullet and cartridge casing that were used to kill the Deputy-Director have been analyzed and have been found to be custom-made and fired from a high powered X24-Q5 single shot bolt-action 30-06 rifle, and it is of Xubran make. This does not necessarily mean that we suspect any citizen of Xubra of this crime. Because of the trajectory of the bullet, we have found that the location where the casing was found is almost certainly the spot the bullet was fired from. This position was slightly elevated from where the podium was, and approximately 600 yards away, meaning that this person is definitely a marksman, and is probably military trained. More details will come from the Office of the Deputy-Director for the Press, and good evening fellow Xubrans."

I have come on camera tonight to request that you, the citizens of Xubra, have patience with both myself and the rest of your government in this time of tragedy. That being said, I think certain actions are necessary to allow for the further safety of our nation. Therefore, all borders of Xubra are henceforth closed to any person that does not have a Passage Visa from the Office of the Deputy-Director for Transport. This border closure will persist for at least one week. Any further details will come from either my Office or the Office of the Deputy-Director for the Press, and good evening fellow Xubrans."
