I am going to be the first to say sorry for the starting of the DoubleWidevilleian War. But if we want to blame people, we all need to blame..............

All of us.

It was DoubleWideville's Post that started the fuse going for the war, The Free Minds Allaince for prepareing and Me for setting it off.

there are wanking and Godmoding on both sides, Dogpileing was out of Control and it was all of us who will say this

Sorry.

I suggest that the best thing to do is retcon everything, including the suitcase nukes...as well as the WV's appeal to the UN.

At least now the situation's over.

There were a lot of things that went wrong with Doublewideville. But I would like to say that if we had a more controlled war with...how shall I put this lightly...more capable people, we could've made it work. It was just that every nation somehow had a reason to fight him, every nation wanted something out of Doublewideville, and every nation wanted to fight for all the wrong reasons.

Not exactly. One can easily keep a war RP controlled with: proper communication between all involved, a limited number of experienced RPers involved, a basic plan for how the war will occur and rules for it(this includes numbers of soldiers, what kind of weaponry is allowed, so on), and of course good cooperation between all those involved in the RP.

And finally, making it closed or semi-open with an OOC sign-up thread also helps.

I found me and Pan were RPing fine then four hundred more people piled in. We shouldv'e left it with only BI, Karsh, Ryou, Pan, and I. Pan and I were going to be the only ones colonizing then everyone was well I want a city, I want 20 miles, I want shoreline. If you read the letters I sent before it ended I cursed out one guy who god moded into the conflict, and cursed out the guy who Houle god moded for. It was way to out of control. If you read the same post the first sentence was, "THIS IS WAY TOO FUCKING OUT OF CONTROL!" So there is my input. Ryou you and Greal started the parade of god modeing, then DWV took the ball and ran with it. He ran across the friggin universe and through the stars with it.

It's really nice to see this. A lot of the time, people just continue to hold grudges and wank each other. Well done.

Wow. That went downhill after I left. :p

Yeah...erm, well. What can I say. That pretty much sucked for everyone involved.

Apologies to all, I should think. That was rather unsporting in the end, all a bit of dogpile and whatnot. Kudos somewhat to DWV for participating toward the end, at least.

We honor what has happened to us:

Ergo: New Jerusalem is destroyed. The Salvation Mountains nuked and Ebola spread there.

As such, we will take the closing of the htread as the Interventionist forces withdrawing from DoubleWideville and returning to their areas.

If this acceptable, please let us know.

The best thing to do is to assume none of it ever happened - that time is as was before you sent nuclear suitcases into everyone's nations.

Hopefully we can put it all behind us from hereonin.

OOC: For you it is, for us it isn't. Im not a poor loser, nor am I going to wish away what happened. We got what we deserved. Lesson learned.
BUT..part of it is living with the consequences of your actions. If you choose to not, thats your choice. DoubleWideville honors its actions and accepts responsibility for it's choices.

The whole thing was a farce from the beginning to be honest - I personally should have called Godmodding from the beginning and ignored it. I didn't, which is by far against me.

I, and I'm sure many others, would be happy if you were to claim that your country is fine - as if we never invaded. Most of us have now simply resigned ourselves to the fact that you'd never have gotten nuclear material into our nations anyway, myself included.

I personally thought that everyone followed your lead in what happened, now Im not saying it was your fault, but it did seem that everyone would be behind every desicion that you made.

I agree to the second part of the statement, and for your country Doublewideville, maybe there is a way to combine the Christian beliefs of your nation and a sense of decency by others to form a nation that can churn its fanatical beliefs into something productive instead of destructive by others.

Christian Choir anyone? lol :p

That is the basic facts, you have to think of the consequences ahead before an action is taken....trust me...I should know.
