I was thinking about having a Lord of the Rings style fantasy RP, where we would have basically an NS Continent serve as Middle Earth as it will, with a Witchking of Angmar type character maybe.

It would be called "Ardvada", based on the name of Arda, the creator, with the Illunmi, the wizards, and the Triai, the Maia like angels, with Aluzavar, the Sauron type character.

Since I haven't done very many RP's by myself, I'd appreciate anyones help.

Zorodor (Evil, ruled by Aluzavar)
Dark Areinzstor (Evil, ruled by Az-Sharkrish (Orc, puppet of Aluzavar)
Harandian Kingdom (Puppet of Aluzavar also, rulled by Incurin the Doomsman of Aluzavar)

Jothian (Ruled by Zarimnstar's half brother Alirtchzstar, the remnant of the loyal, faithful Areinzstor)
Triytithan (The Kingdom of the Elves)

List of Wizards so far:
Zarimnzstor (Not only the last prince of Areinzstor, but he has the power given to him by the Triai, and as such is an Illunmni as well. One of the most powerful wizards)

Aluzavar (Dark Triai, is an extremely powerful dark wizard, including puppets, rules over three kingdoms, is a big threat to Jothian. He is so horribly ugly from all of the evil, he cannot assume a pleasant form. He wears an armored battle suit instead to cover the ugliness.)

Okay BC, you're on. What we'll need is to figure out the names of the various kingdoms, and of course what our version of the One Ring will be.

If nobody doesn't mind, I might start the IC thread, the Chronicles of Ardvada. My main character will be Zarimnzar, the shipwrecked Areinzstor prince, (In regards to Areinzstor, think Numenor from Lord of the Rings), feel free to create some wizards, orcs, elves, and other characters, and bring them into the thread.

How would I designate the tech level, FT, for Fantasy Tech?

With a little different story line. Zarminzar is shipwrecked on the coast of Dark Arienzstor, and he is trying to resist the temptation of the Dark Arienzstorians..

Yes, they can serve both sides. Aluzavar has a lot of money though, he's stolen from Jothian a couple of times. Any one who wants to RP Aluzavar, feel free.

No, but I was trying to get a Lord of the Ring likeish name, but not too close, but I really like the Numenorean names.

Orcs:
Kael' Kael' Kael' (can be considered Kill Kill Kill!) , a powerful orclord in [whatever place you want to be, please don't put them right next in the neighborhood of the Goblins] , his minion has fought in many battles, mostly againts the Human, but there are also reports of them fighting other orcs. The last one to believe in shamanry, Kael 3x don't that evil, if he don't hungry...

I'd like to join. My MT nation, Delkor, is supposed to be Middle Earth of the modern, industrial age. I'd like to use this to RP some of my history, assuming that I could be Gondor/Rohan....
