No nuclear weapons will be used by the Barronian Forces - furthermore, our weapons are limited by the NEATO agreement (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=529419). We are most glad to hear this. We would also like to announce that the Black Imperium will be sending in 1,000 ETF (Elite Task Force) soldiers (http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii319/CB6802_2008/_1188278374.jpg) to monitor and assess the situation in Doublewideville. One Ballista class Battleship and one Bee Hive class Helicopter Carrier will also be deployed off of Doublewideville's shores. The Helicopter Carrier will be carrying Mil Mi-24 helicopter gunships to act as support for Black Imperium's soldiers and will also be available to support other nation's troops upon request.

From above, where Barronian satellites were viewing the operation, it was a carefully orchestrated maneuvre. Ships from the middle of the formation broke rank, beginning a slow movement toward the coast and crisscrossing the width of the fleet. Zooming in, one could see many small explosions as the ships passed. The minefield was being cleared. Helicopters flitted to and fro, clearing hard-to-reach mines and deploying decoys. Effectively a drill maneuvre, the fleet was nonetheless cautious of an attack by the Doublewideville air force.

To the far sides, great lumbering cigars could be seen. These were the 1st Magisterium Aeronautical Marines - the best of the best. The silent beasts, armed to the hilt with everything from howitzers to anti-air missiles and self-targeting cannonry. Designed especially for suppressive warfare, the Marine airships were to act as a cover for the deployment of the marines themselves, who would be launched with specialist suits to allow them to fly over 30 miles from launch site.

Aboard the BMS Regence, an LPD, and one of 80 in the fleet, the activity was non-stop. Shells, missiles, bombs, and ammunition boxes were carted across the decks. Hovercrafts and landing boats were being fuelled, engines tested. The invasion would soon be ready to begin.

It was decided to wait for the Tejano People's Navy and the Grestonian Navy to arrive, before the order was given.

This was to be Doublewideville's, and indeed King David's, final mistake.

OOC: Better get those troops arriving soon then Greston - the more fighting, the bigger proportion of territory, I should think would be applicable. Mind, so long as we get King David and the Lord Regent, we'd be happy for the capital city and a route to the coast.

The Main Ryou battle plan was to in fact weaken the enemy in a Air and Sea Campaign. The Sea War would be to destroy The DoubleWidevilleian Navy it self, leaveing nothing left of it.

The Air Battle was to crush the enemy air power and to destroy enemy Missile Sites, Military Bases and Air Bases. The Ryous would also Bomb Beaches and anywhere with in a area of 50 miles to destroy the mines that the enemy put in that area.

Minesweepers would take out any sea mines off the coast also.

But since The enemy was useing it's own Civilians as Geurillia Fighters, The Ryous were going to use one Tatic that would force the enemy to give in.

The Ryous planed to burn Forests, Grassland and Farms, in short, destroying anything that might be useful to the enemy while advancing through or withdrawing from an area. They were going to destroy the enemy will to rage war.

The fifty surface warships standard for a New Greston Fleet, in Admiral Femik's Fleet were sailing in an arrow head position as if they were a flock of birds. On each side of the arrow head was ten Oscar class submarines. In the gap in the arrow two Nimitz carriers floated towards DoubleWideVille. Admiral Roy's Fleet was in the same formation behind Admiral Femik's Fleet. The traveled and thenwhen the Barronian fleet came into sight they stopped moving foward sent out a message to them.

The Black Imperium would like to suggest that upon any encounter of armed civilians with the intent to harm themselves or your men that you immediately telegram our ship "Truth's Sword". We will then deploy S-70A's to dust the militants with a non-lethal and quickly activating sleeping powder. It is highly suggested friendly troops mark their locations with flares or are equipped with gas masks to avoid inhaling the sleeping power.

Of course, this is just a suggestion. If anyone else has a better solution to deal with armed civilians the floor is always open.

Two Tejano missile cruisers, the TPN Liberación and the TPN Teraoka, approached the shores of DoubleWideville. With them were five Tejano destroyers, ten Tejano submarines, and a number of transport ships holding the 3rd and 5th Divisions of the TPA, as well as 500 Military Intelligence Bureau special forces. Following them were the boats carrying the supplies for all of them, as well as ships carrying humanitarian supplies for the population. The ships that belonged to the PRH-TT were easily recognizable; their sailors did all they could to cover them in graffiti. The captains didn't really mind; the Teraoka's even joined in occasionally.

The men and women of the Tejano Proletariat Army and the Tejano People's Navy were ready to fight for the liberation of DoubleWideville from religious extremists. Whether the population was ready for it or not.

In light of recent events (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=547015) we will send five teams (totaling sixty men) from the 22nd Special Operations Group who specialize in Counter Terror and Psychological operations to be stationed on the ships we have off shore to await instructions.
We also have deployed the following aircraft to provide real time intelligence and command and control; one E-3 Sentry (http://www.shaw.af.mil/shared/media/photodb/photos/070207-F-5561D-028.jpg), one JSTARS (http://muller.lbl.gov/pages/TerrorismTalk_files/slide0058_image054.gif), and one EC-130 (http://www.spectrumwd.com/c130/images/ec130_02.jpg) Command Solo. The E-3, and the JSTARS are form the 157th Command and Control squadron. The EC-130 is from the 45th Aerial PsyOps squadron.
The E-3 and JSTARS will provide command and control functions whereas the EC-130 will jam all DoubleWideville lines of communications and broadcast our intentions to the citizens.
Please use them to your advantage. All forces are encouraged to call them to direct and coordinate fire and to disperse information. Hopefully these assets will manage to reduce casualties and ensure the liberation of the citizens of DoubleWideville.

[OOC: Erm... I think three pages of a war where the enemy is yet to post is a tad pointless. By the looks of things, DoubleWideVille isn't participating, which is understandable because its a bit of an unplanned dogpile not pre agreed upon by both participating sides. Although I'm not defending DWV at all.]

The Lord Regent looks at his aides. "Well, it seems were overwhelmed. Let's send a delegation out to receive food aide from the enemy". His aides nod, realizing this is a logical conclusion to the overhwelming forces displayed against them. "Please contact them and negotiate a cease fire. Also, I will surrender to the forces here too."

The Lord Regent then sits down at his desk and opens a small package, as does many of the other aides (the ones knowing where King David is). The package containes cyanide, which they all swallow after prayer.

The remaining FIST units get out of uniform and disperse in the population.

Meanwhile, arms are buuried and the remaining tactical nuclear weapons are taken by now out of uniform Special Forces into the mountains.

A coded message is sent to King David in exil. We know now that that it will be his strength that helps our nation in the long struggle ahead.

The Kingdom of DC1 is willing to offer our excellent diplomatic services in seeing a strict diplomatic capacity in accordance w our laws and orders to see this madness ended.

Can we at least for the sake of erradication the extremitist elements try to keep the collateral damage at least to a minimum and target the radical sector that seems to be hiding in plain sight?

I propose a 6 point plan.

1. Locate, identify, advance and eliminate all radical elements bent on the disruption of civil order.

2. The sealment of the territory for the strict purpose of carrying out part 1 under the activation of Martial Law in strict accordance w the Congress of DoubleWideville.

3. The setting up of camps, interrogation centres, the formation of tribunal councils that adhere to the laws locally to DoubleWideville while preccedings during the course of the tribunals to make sure DoubleWideville's laws are being followed

4. The rebuilding of the infastructure to the government, the rebuilding of hospitals, schools, houses of worship, community centres, homes, businesses, the fire department, the police department to return civil order to the streets where we may be inept to handle it.

5. The creation, formation and activation of a stable and secure government under the direct jurisdiction of the laws of DoubleWideville.

6. The injection to the economy to prevent terrorism and other acts of evil by creting more employment oppourtunities to the people so that the people do not have to look at terrorism as a way of putting food on the table at night.

This is not final, just a guideline that someone can use to create a trusting government that both us and the wonderful, loving people of DoubleWideville truly need and truly deserve.

We do not and will not listen to bafoons who preach peace by proposing nonsense, impossible ideas, we don't don't even take the time to inhale it when we are in the middle of war and fighting was has been going on. The Fleet was heading for DoubleWideville when the news came that the enemy was wanting to give in. This Asuka thought was a fase surendering, that the enemy was prepareing a Geurilla War against the allies, and David was still on the lose.

The Invasion Force was now a occupation force.

This was not good.

The Ryou Planes on the other hand had a new mission, to bomb the Beaches and the 50 mile area from them. This was to destroy any Landmines the enemy had left.

The Leader of the attack Group radioed the Allied Fleet. "This is Air Sqaudron Saber to Allied Fleet, please be avised that we are bombing the Beaches to take out any mines on them, Over."

The two fleets started moving in and fired upon the beaches to take out any defenses that they could use against us and the allied forces. They were moving in when they recieved a message from the Ryou Air Fleet and they replied saying,

"This is Grestonian Fleet One of the Allied Fleet to Air Sqaudron Saber, no need for any bombing, the mines are disabled, any more bombing would ruin the land and cause deaths on the Allied Fleet size aswell. We are to close for you to bomb."

The Brigade that was being sent was then catching up with the Ryou Planes so that they could land. They were told to be if possible the first group of Infantry to land. They messaged the Ryo Planes as well.

"This is Grestonian Air Fleet One of One to Air Sqaudron Saber, when you say so we will start our landed to get our troops upon the ground."

"Will do," said the Sqaudron Leader, "The Bombers are heading inland to bomb any enemy Bases near the area. Do you have any Carriers near by?"

The Lord Regent looks at his aides. "Well, it seems were overwhelmed. Let's send a delegation out to receive food aide from the enemy". His aides nod, realizing this is a logical conclusion to the overhwelming forces displayed against them. "Please contact them and negotiate a cease fire. Also, I will surrender to the forces here too."

The Lord Regent then sits down at his desk and opens a small package, as does many of the other aides (the ones knowing where King David is). The package containes cyanide, which they all swallow after prayer.

The remaining FIST units get out of uniform and disperse in the population.

Meanwhile, arms are buuried and the remaining tactical nuclear weapons are taken by now out of uniform Special Forces into the mountains.

A coded message is sent to King David in exil. We know now that that it will be his strength that helps our nation in the long struggle ahead.
The repeating message being broadcast from the Alaskan EC-130:

"All citizens of DoubleWideville,
Do not beleive what the criminal who called himself your leader said. We do not want to harm anyone who is innocent, we only wish to bring the guilty to justice.
We have aide waiting offshore, all we need is order restored. And that all depends on how long combat operations last. So it's up to you.
We have a JSTARS (http://www.globalsecurity.org/intell/systems/jstars.htm) above your nation that can track any movement. Hiding your weapons is useless. Any attempts at hiding any nuclear weapons will be futile.

"Greetings DoubleWideville citizens and troops. We are the Grestonian portion of the Allied Troops that are here to liberate you. In our effort to liberate you we will become the occupiers and you will automatically become Grestonian citizens. As a Grestonian citizen you will have freedom to do what you want as long as it isn't harming other people the economy or our nation's well being in anyway. Homes and public centers will be made, food will be given, and hope will be assured. If you are still under the oppresing government and fight back you shall be shot on sight. If you wish to surrender carry nothing but you clothes and a white cloth or fabric showing that you are surrendering. Soliers of DoubleWideville, you shall take off you uinform jacket and only wear your undershirt and pants if you wish to surrender. The more who surrender to become a Grestonian will make the war shorter and less shall die and violence shall be on a minimum."

"Rogger," The Leader said, "Oh and just to let you know, The Ryou Army is on it's way to help."

"Good have them meet up with out troops at landing point A so we can push foward." said the Air Fleet Leader, "Time can not be wasted we do not want the other nations in this taking the land that we want."

The Kingdom of DC1 is willing to offer our excellent diplomatic services in seeing a strict diplomatic capacity in accordance w our laws and orders to see this madness ended.

4. The rebuilding of the infastructure to the government, the rebuilding of hospitals, schools, houses of worship, community centres, homes, businesses, the fire department, the police department to return civil order to the streets where we may be inept to handle it.

5. The creation, formation and activation of a stable and secure government under the direct jurisdiction of the laws of DoubleWideville.

6. The injection to the economy to prevent terrorism and other acts of evil by creting more employment oppourtunities to the people so that the people do not have to look at terrorism as a way of putting food on the table at night.

This is not final, just a guideline that someone can use to create a trusting government that both us and the wonderful, loving people of DoubleWideville truly need and truly deserve.

The invasion had begun in earnest. The route ahead had been cleared, the airships deployed. It would take a day or so for the airships to reach a suitable location, and all defenses were on alert - CIWS scanning constantly, the missile pylons primed. On board, men were preparing weapons - 120 men, and enough supplies and transport to fight a small war alone. Their aim? Capture the Lord Reagent.

They would glide into the city in specialised suits, while the vehicles would be deployed just outside, along with enough men to manage them into the city. The forward troops would capture the Lord Reagent if possible, rendezvous with the vehicles, and get the hell out to the coast and the advancing allied lines.

Admiral Pulitz felt pride and embarrassment at the same time as he gazed over the amassed fleet of various nations.

President Vladimir Radchenkov, leader of the Republic of Karshkovia, had decided to show the world that Karshkovia, though small, supported this military measure against Doublewideville even while he was in the midst of negotiations with multiple nations.

So, Admiral Pulitz now was commanding Karshkovia's flag ship Karshenko, an Udaloy-II Class Guided Missle Destroyer (http://navy-ship.all-model.com/Udaloy%20class.html), among naval ships of other countries that made the Karskenko look like a row boat. Despite the fact that his ship was slightly understaffed, the crew under-trained and inexperienced in combat operations, and his ships weapons greatly outclassed by nearly every ship around him, and this ship was literally a quarter of the entire surface fleet of Karshkovia, it still was his ship and his command representing his country.

He was also transporting 50 of the Presidential Guard, the best trained ground forces his country had, to assist in the ground war.

Navigating near these huge floating cities was humbling, especially when he sent the announcement of his arrival. He was sure everyone would be laughing, but one needed to take life as it came and make the best of it.

The Mighty fleet moved quick despite the age of it's ships, as several Vikramaditya, Keiv ,and Admiral Kuznetsov class carriers launched fighters and helocopters, like Mil-8VM AWACS copters and Mil-24JB with bombbays insted of crew compartments. the Seaplane tenders launched there surrounding Lun and A-90M assault Ekranoplans to destroy ships and coastal implacements as normal A-90's delivered troups. Yak-43 and AV-8 harriers roared overhead as in far back, converted Tanker ships launched SKUD missils with Burst rounds into the mountains to take out enemy launch sites that allied special forced could not get to.

The Ryou Planes qued them and the carriers landed on a broken down air way that was evacuated due to the bombings one New Grestonian Brigade has 200,000 men and that entire amount of men were let loose. They landed and as the first Grestonian soldier touched the ground the ground battle had officially began.

They set up sniper squads and heavy machine guns on the roof and the second floor of the air way to protect it. Inside the terminal they moved six big wooden desks so that they faced the doors. Papers and pens were laided upon the tabels and citizen forms were stacked next, on, and under the desks. Three soldiers to a desk and with six standing at attention with their Ak-47s at ready behind them.

Outside the building on the airways soldiers set up tents and more defenses. There were three medical formations set up each with 50 medics and tons of medical supplies. A mini mine field was set up so that at a press of a button it would explode entirely and at the press of a different button it would disable. The megaphone systems were set up and the same message that the plane broadcasted earlier was repeated and repeated only at the end it said "Come to the airport to surrender."

After all of the preperations were completed and a strong defense was set the Grestonian flag was risen up on the flag pole after the DoubleWideville flag was taken down. The DoubleWideville flag was laided across one of the airways then lit on fire, showing that that airport just became a part of Greston.

Nine Mi-24Vs zoomed over the Doublewideville landscape towards the towers of the approaching capital city. Four of these heavily armed and advanced helicopters carried 8 soldiers of the Barronian. The others were filled with ETF soldiers of the Black Imperium.

The pilots notified the soldiers they were transporting they were closing in on the capital through their headsets. "We're closing in on the capital quickly. Get your gear and be ready to move, over", came the voices of the various pilots to the soldiers.

Moments later they reached the border of the capital. Slowly the nine of the Mi-24V's lowered onto the ground. The front turret of the helicopter on the look out for any soldiers. The back doors lowered and the troops filed out quickly and effectively. "Four of us will stand by in the area for support. Sorry we couldn't drop you boys further, but good luck. Over," announced the pilots to their respective crews. They took off into the distance, leaving the squads to finish the job.

Ten minutes after the DoubleWideville flag was raised the Hawks arrived. The dispersed into three groups and thrirty continued in Apaches to the capital. There was five Apaches altogether carrying six Hawks each. Since the new Grestonian airport was closer to the capital the arrived first and waited for the promised Black Imperium units. Soon later they arrived and they greeted the units as the looked back up at their transports as they left.

"Hello sir, Nicholas Jerower, I am head of this search and destroy group sent by the nation of Greston. We were notified not to kill our targets so don't get worried. We will be looking for the Lord Regent and his Cabinet as well as any lower ranked terrorist or really anyone of his government. We are allowed to kill the henchmen type terrorists but the government is to be caugth alive."

Some 125 miles into Doublewideville, at an airport near a relatively large city

A fortress was in the making. Lorries were everywhere, transferring sandbags across the airfield. Cranes were lifting entire bunkers into place on top of buildings, towers for sniper teams.

Artillery was preparing itself in the middle of the airfield, readied for the inevitable fightback of the DWV forces.

"London, this is Thunderchild. We are now in position on the airfield, you can begin the deliveries."

"Roger that Thunderchild. Eaton Road is en route, ETA 30 minutes. Prepare defences, Eaton Road will brief you on sighted hostiles."

Rear Admiral Justinian read the dispatch just in time to hear the sounds of jet engines inbound. He looked up from the spot he was standing at the bow of the Redemption just in time to see the aircraft fly by.

Grinning at the display, he picked up a radio and gave orders to the Beowulf to dispatch a Seahawk and swimmer team to pick up what were dropped. He also gave an order to the Comm station on the bridge to signal their thanks

He was rather unhappy at the thought of having to leave in the middle of the conflict, especially against terrorism, which the Alaskans had all to recently experienced. But his orders stood, and being a warrior he placed whatever he was told above his personal feelings. But there was still the chance for redeployment once everything back home was taken care of...

The Airport, Firts Grestonian Claim

The chaos of setting up and building the walls and setting the mine field was quieting down. When they were finished they started noicing the area around them. Two relatively large cities were to the north and three medium sized cities were to the east and south. The city to the south was empty do to the bombings so they would claim taht first then travel up back into the airport then they would take the city to the Northeast and then travel south to take the third largest city. They would wait until more troops were Allied troops were landed when they would take the two large cities to the north.

There was a radio tower in the airport so they used it and sent a message to all Allied forces in the region, including the Allied Fleet and the Allied Planes.

"We have set a perimeter at an airport. If you want any planes could land to fuel up or drop off men. This can be the landing area for the Allied forces as well as staging point for the battles. Have some of you Infantry stop here so we can push up and destroy the capital after the three teams of spec ops find the Lord Regent and his Cabinent."

The city to the south was empty do to the bombings so they would claim taht first then travel up back into the airport then they would take the city to the Northeast and then travel south to take the third largest city. They would wait until more troops were Allied troops were landed when they would take the two large cities to the north.

There was a radio tower in the airport so they used it and sent a message to all Allied forces in the region, including the Allied Fleet and the Allied Planes.

"We have set a perimeter at an airport. If you want any planes could land to fuel up or drop off men. This can be the landing area for the Allied forces as well as staging point for the battles. Have some of you Infantry stop here so we can push up and destroy the capital after the three teams of spec ops find the Lord Regent and his Cabinent."

The Ryou Armada

"The Grestonian have started their invasion of enemy Territory." a lower Officer said to Grand Admiral Ryu and Grand General Asuka. Both were with Colonel Naya Mewsyu and NinjaOps Commander Sango.

"Seems that they are going to beat us to the capital," Naya said, " I think we should start a Air raid on the Capital of the enemy." "Only The Sky Marshal can order a strike," Ryu said, "and The enemy has yet to show their Air Force."

"Well," Sango said, "Most of The R-80s are going to be over one of the Towns, and they will be very Surprise about the 'Bombs'"

Over one of The DoubleWidevilleian Towns. a R-80 soon started dropping bombs on it, but there was something odd about the Bombs as soon as they fell. Parachues opened up behind them and dropped down slowlly.

The Bombs hit the Ground and soon all 20 of the Bombs opened up and the Men inside them ran out.

The Bombs were not Bombs, but a Drop Pod that hid one Special Forces Trooper. It was Perfect for dropping a SpecForce Team into enemy Territory, no one wanted to be near a Bomb that was Dropping and the SpecOps could exit the Pods easy.

6 men began immediately to take to a run across the airfield, and dissappeared into the undergrowth on the other side.

The Third and the Fifth Divisions landed on the shores shortly after all of the other liberation forces had landed in DoubleWideville. Part of the Third Division moved into territories already captured by allied forces, to help with their defense just in case. The rest of the Third and the Fifth began to move into the areas of DoubleWideville that had not already been liberated. There was no real intention to stay long-term; they were just attempting to cover the ground that the other armed forces had not.

Commander Grimestone split his 40 soldiers into squads of 10. Squad 1 would approach the Executive Building from the South. Squad 2 would approach the building from the West. Squad 3, his squad, would come from the North. And Squad 4 would approach from the East.

The men followed the roads towards the respective locations. The city was relatively silent. The few people they saw were peeking very fearfully through half open doors and windows cracked open ever so slightly.

Admiral Pulitz took no time in informing the captain of the soldiers to ready her troops for transport, and for the crew to get the KA-29 on deck and prepped for launch.

The captain of the Presidential Guard viewed her team with great pride. Each was a soldier’s soldier; all fiercely loyal, patriotic men and women picked from the various branches of the military that passed all background checks and voluntarily chose to serve as Presidential Guards. Few were offered this chance and virtually none that were offered ever refused though there were no punishments or recriminations if anyone ever did.

Her group consisted of 30 women and 20 men, exactly one-half the total contingent of Presidential Guard troops. All of them were protected with body armor, AK-47s or L85A2, M1911 .45 Caliber side arms and other various armaments. The ten soldiers issued L85A2s also had their main weapon equipped with laser sights and scope. They all had been trained by ex-Spetsnaz soldiers now recently employed by the Karshkovia government, though they were only being used for training the Presidential Guard. The Regular Karshkovia Army still was very green and under-trained. Basically men and women put through a few weeks of physical conditioning and basic firearm and military protocol training. The Presidential Guard were true soldiers.

As the first KA-29 helo was move out onto the pad and the crew prepped it, the captain of the Presidential Guard moved her troops out onto the deck of the ship, lining them up and doing another inspection of their equipment. The second helicopter was prepared below and the crew moved the coastal assault boat into position near the side of the ship.

Both KA-29s were able to handle 16 soldiers each and the remaining 18 would be delivered to shore using the assault boat.

South Lizasaurian planes prepared for the supply drop, the requested supplies were loaded and other planes with crates filled with tanks and others with paratroopers also prepared to leave for DoubleWideVille.

OOC: Everyone has a bounty on his head now. Oh and BI you said in your message to Ryou that you will leave the colonizing to a nation it will be more like nations, mostly me and Pan though.

The helicopter with the Barronian men the Grestonian Hawks flew across when they came half a mile away from the capital building. They picked up the men and dropped them off until all of the Grestonians and a few Barronian forces were there. The Barronians in the last drop would be dropped off ontop of the building. The Black Imperium forces started making there lines outside the building and the Hakws sat at ready behind the BI lines while the Barronian troops were dropped upon the roof.

As their feet touched the roof the Hakws got up and ran at the door. The first Hawk to get there held a issued police force battering ram and smashed the double doors open. As it opened he jumped to the side and the next Hawk rolled a smoke grenade in. As the smoke was the thickest they entered with their weapons aimed. They pointed at the secretary and Nicholas started screaming orders to his men and the civilians alike, "You three stand at the door. We will lead any civilians over to you and you will run them over to the BI men. You there get on the floor, get on the floor now! Richards and Johnson move up and check that door to the left! Pronto!" A few Hawks aimed their guns at the doorway and then the same Hawk with the battering ram smashed ope the same door. No one fired upon them so thee moved in slowly with their guns aim in different directions. Three people sat huddled together with their hands over their heads and praying for their lives. Richards pulled one of them up and pushed them out of the room and lead them to the three at the front door. Johnson did the same with the other two and they left the room.

IC: The group of Hawks continued running down the halls until they got to the doors to the office of the Lord Regent. 30 Ryou Troops were killed by The Terror attack but the enemy were not going to win, Numbers and Better Weapons were against them.

At the same time, the Tejanos embarked on a serve-the-people program to gain the favor of their subjects. Soldiers not on patrol helped the Tejano Red Star deliver humanitarian aid to the people. The Red Star established medical centers all across the occupation zone, and the TPDF established camps, where UARG combatants wishing to disarm were given amnesty, after rehabilitation into civilian life.

The situation in DoubleWideville had effectively snuck up on the Empire—at the time of the release of the notice of nuclear plants across the world, Emperor Christian was in an important meeting with a new regional ally (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=546759) and the President and Senate occupied with civil matters, and, though Imperial authorities were able to convince the major networks to cover the matter only lightly, so as to not cause early panic and anti-DoubleWidevillian action on the part of the citizenry before the situation could be analyzed, and began to quietly investigate any DoubleWidevillians in the Empire, no action was taken or statement released prior to the invasion of the nation. There was no time to decry the action of the DoubleWidevillian government, nor to evacuate all Errikan consultants within the country. And now the brief war had progressed to the level of guerilla warfare and terrorism, with one side making somewhat unreasonable demands, given the situation, and the other responding in kin. And what makes you believe that these insane fundamentalists actually want to truly negotiate? This situation has taught me one thing; to DWV, "negotiation" is the blanket, unquestioning acceptance of all of their ridiculous demands, regardless of their actual position. My nation, and other nations, have shown our willingness to consider some of their more major points.

Their demands that our soldiers follow their twisted fundamentalist morality and that all Christian soldiers leave their country is just as ridiculous as the rest of their demands. And what makes you believe that these insane fundamentalists actually want to truly negotiate? This situation has taught me one thing; to DWV, "negotiation" is the blanket, unquestioning acceptance of all of their ridiculous demands, regardless of their actual position. 30 Ryou Troops were killed by The Terror attack but the enemy were not going to win, Numbers and Better Weapons were against them.

and The Amazonian Guard.

Asuka's Elite all female Troops were trained to battle enemy geurrillas and could be more deadly then the bakas.

Also agaisn the enemy was Helicopter Gunships, and tanks, now fireing against them useing Infared Cameras.

The enemy were outgunned.

As per military doctrine, the New Bethleham Citizen militia, seeing that the advantage was against them, melted into the countryside, with the aide of nearby citizens.
Guns were quickly hidden and the New Bethleham Militia were transported out of the are of the attack by local patriots to the United Armed Revolutionary Government council of New Bethlaham, a suburb of New Jerusalem.
After various member left messages, via deaddrops to other cells, the local Jesus Youth corp was brought out out to fell trees lining the road to New Jerusalem. These trees were rigged with IED's, and pressure popping mines were buried in the trails and leading along the road.
The popping mines work like thus: an imcautious trooper, inwearily walks and causes the simple spring to shoot up a gernade with it's pin pulled. Said trooper then has the gernade go off at waist level, spraying his abdomen with shrapnel, inviscerating them.
Unexploded ordinances are also gathered by local Corps of the Jesus Youth, to be lkater booby trapped. In fact, a nice suprise is left for The Invaders. Unfortunately, for The Invaders, it is really well hidden. When the truck in the convoy starts to slow down, it unfortunately runs over the buried mine, detonating its HE load, igniting the truck and blowing a huge crater in the road.

In the confusion, assault rifle and RPGs are shot at the confused and stunned Invaders. It seems that the New Bethlaham Citizen Militia reformed, rearmed as per plan, and took advantage of the choke point and the explosion to ambush the soldiers. As per orders, they retreat in good order, heading in fourty different directions, while the Jesus Youth take up positions to cover their elders retreat. Thus, from the rear the pursuing Invaders are shot at and have grenades thrown at them by the Jesus Youth.
Meanwhile, under good fire control the New Bethlaham Citizen Malitia poutr on a blistering curtain of steel to allow the Jesus Youth Corp members to retreat in good order and depart into the vast wilderness that surronds the once sleepy suburb of New Bethlaham.

A Helicopter carrys a palette with about a quarter of the suppies on it, and several small boats with soliders leave the boat. The remaining troops were either knocked of the boat in the explosion, or jump off to avoid sinking. Only the captain stays with his ship. Even if is was just a supply ship

In further developments:

The Jesus Youth who remain flee off into a hundred directions.

Again, local people hide them in basements and attics as the Invaders come.

Word is set up ahead that the Invaders approach. Landmines are duly passed out in all the roads, both paved and non, leading to New Jerusalem.

Some of The retreating Jesus Youth hide in the woods acting as forward observers for the mortar crews in their rear. Calling over their radio system, they give coordinates on a map of the approaching troops to start laying down harrassing mortar fire, and adjusting as necessary.

The mortar crews dial in the proper elevations and begin shelling the troops, laying down a heavy screen of mortar. The mortars sail in about 25 in five minutes, as local malitia dial in their mortars too. Soon the Ryu forces find themselves under heavy mortar attack

The city of New Jerusalem in flames, the Militias dig in deeper, setting up bunkers, boobytrapping the dead and looting all the remaining stores of food and water.
Positions are gug in as the Militias dig their fighting holes deeper, and they spend the day constructing bunkers and laying down intersecting fields of fire. Killing zones are set up in every majot approach and choke point of the city.
Many die, but miraculously, many more live. The militias evacuate as much they can the wounded Ryou troops on trucks, while brave wounded DoubleWidevillians boobytrap themselves and are placed in the front facing the approaching army of Ryou.
Their orders are to detonate remotely bombs placed at chokepoints, and when their position is overran, to set off the 100 pound H.E bombs boobytrapped to the bodies of the brave Martyrs.

Trickle of refugees wander out of New Jerusalem up into the Salvation Mountains. As they leave, they place pressure mines, non personnnel mines and IEDs behind them.

Kapitán Katrina Solovyova, a 17 year veteran from the Karshkovian revolution and former Soviet Army Soldier, was moving her Platoon of 50 Presidential Guard soldiers through outskirts of New Jerusalem slowly, watchfully. Sporadic gunfire in the distance echoed through the barren streets. There had been explosions heard earlier but if that was RPG fire, grenades, mortar fire or rockets from helicopters she couldn't tell. As the moved deeper into the city the radio operator of Alpha Squad motioned that he had received a friendly forces transmission.

Captain Solovyova halted the platoon which then spread along both sides of the empty street providing covering arcs of fire, watching windows, doorways and side streets for any movement.

The Captain slung her AK-47 as she knelt down by the young Mládshiy Serdzhánt or Junior Sergent, "What do you have?"

"Kaptain, Black Imperium, Grestonia, and Bannoria troops are being pinned down by armed militants. No one is responding to their calls for aid."

The Captain thought for a moment and pulled a laminated map of the city from a zippered pocket on her left arm, "We are...here" she indicated on the map, "Where are they at?"

The Junior Sergent referred to notes scribbled on a pad of paper attached to his right thigh, then looked back at the map, "Approximately here" he said tapping a location just three-quarters of a kilometer to the north west.

Quickly doing calculations in her head, Captain Solovyova motioned for the sergeants of both Squad Alpha and Bravo over to her. They fell back to her position, covering each other as they went with their weapons at the level.

When they reached the Captain, she explained the situation, "So allied troops are being pinned down just under a kilometer from our location and it looks like we are the closest to their location to provide assistance and help cover their withdrawal. We are going to assist them in falling back to a safe zone. Questions?"

The burly Sergent from Alpha Squad nodded, "Did they mention the strength of the militants, armor, weapons, weak points in the enemy lines?"

"No, but we will treat this as if the militants are well trained professional soldiers. Allied troops are under fire so we will change our R.O.E. Any civilian that approaches and does not halt or approach with hands over their heads will be shot. Period. Shoot to kill, not wound. Old or young, you are just as dead if a 12 year old shoots you or if a 50 year old shoots you. Any armed civilian is to be shot on site."

Both men nodded.

"Rally and move. We will move through these streets here away from the main roads which will be guarded." She pointed the route out on the map.

Pointing at the radio operator she continued, "Contact our allies. Let them know we are ten minutes away and to be prepared to move themselves and their wounded if they have any. Contact the ship and have the KA-32s prepared to meet us....here," indicating a park about half a kilometer from were the allied troops were being pinned down, "let them know they will be providing ex-filtration and medivac, possibly under small arms fire. Alpha squad takes will lead, Beta will provide rear security. We move quickly. Let's go."

The small meeting broke up and the word was passed quickly but quietly. The Karshkovia soldiers moved off of the street they were on and headed to the location of the allied troops, moving quickly in a leapfrogging formation where one squad secured and provided cover as the other squad jogged quickly forward and secured to provide cover for the squad before it.

Eight minutes later the Karshkovians were a block away from the fighting, various small arms fire in burst and fully automatic streams assaulted the surrounding area with noise.

Captain Solovyova, secured both teams and had the radio operator of Beta team move to her and prepare her radio for the Captain to use. She faced away from the street and faced the nearby wall to help muffle her voice.

"Allied forces currently under fire in the city of New Jerusalem. This is Captain Solovyova of the Karshkovia Presidential Guard. We are one block South East of your position and ready secure the two corner buildings . Do not fire on those buildings as we are clearing them. Once they are secure, you will be able to move your troops out of this area.

We have helicopters standing by to medivac wounded personal back to the forward bases or the medical ships of the fleet, however those able to will need to withdraw with us on foot out of the city unless helicopters of other nations can extract the rest of us. Coordinates of the LZ will be given when we are on route. Steady, comrades and we shall break bread together tonight in celebration."


Captain Solovyova returned the handset to the radio operator who then returned quickly to her unit, and with hand motions had Alpha and Beta squad form up along the walls of the buildings they were going to secure. After checking the area for any signs of enemy troops, the Captain gave the sign to execute. Both teams moved through the doorways of the first floor of each building and began to sweep, using 2-by-2 cover formations, checking each room for anyone in the buildings.

The enemy had been starting the attack agaisnt the Ryou, but for them, they were doomed. The Ryou Planes were now attacking the enemy Ground Troops, Bombs and Missiles rained down on them while Artillery fire blasted away at Mortar Prositions.

The Ryous soon started to end the war by launching 10 ICBMs with Biological and Nuclear Warheads at the Salvation Mountains. OOC: I couldn't help but notice you asked for moderator intervention in the mods forum because of the above quote. I have to say, isn't that a little unfair? DWV might have pissed off other nations in the past (I'm not sure on the details, but they are very, very pissed off...), but he has participated somewhat in this RP. This RP is basically a dogpile against him and yet instead of just ignoring the entire thread he has made some IC attempts to wrap it up, which is fair unless he pre-agreed upon the RP beforehand. Also, as far as I know the UN doesn't delve into II, although I'm not sure appealing to the UN is a godmod at all really, he's just saying that he thinks the UN would intervene on such an issue.

Also, please note that extreme god modding like you have been doing is a bannable offense. Try speaking with more experienced RPers on how to improve your RP skill. I've been doing RP like this for about 20 years (when I started a group of friends across the country would add a page to a story and mail to the next person on the list) and really I think it would be best for all involved if you were to step back and review a few general rules and guild-lines to this kind of game. The New Jeruselem city was being destroyed around them. Their best chance was to stay in the capital building and fight off the guirilla fighting scum as they attacked, not the other way around. Too many were dieing from the DWV attacks and ambushes. They radioed the Black Imperium men that were outisde, "Don't come to pick us up we have been through worse. I hear you are leaving. They stopped broadcasting their message when the first attack was made upon the Ryous they tensed up and prepared to be attacked. Everything was even more protected. They started to broadcast a new message. "Do not come near. Anyone that is not from the Allied side shall be killed. Be you civilian carrying you child, both shall die. Blame all of the deaths that might occur on the scum that keep blowing us up when we come to help." Everything was silent as they sat there. As they sat there and waited.
