2 Greal presidential candidates were killed in a bombing yesterday afternoon while campaigning, unknown to the public, the Greal Intelligence Agency planned the bombing so President Sarah Watson would have a pretext to "cancel" the elections. She announced the canceling of the presidential elections at a press conference later that day, until they could find more suitable candidates. The public stayed quiet and did not attempt to protest or express outrage, anyone that did were thrown in Jail or were silenced by the GIA. The Presidential elections were rescheduled for next year, making another big dent to whoever that wanted a Greal Democracy. The Greal army smelled a war coming.............

Lord Sumguy sighed with relief as he finished the last peice of the enormous pile of paperwork that had been waiting on his desk upon his arrival home from Greal two weeks earlier. He was completely exhausted, bags visible under his eyes as he leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes. He was looking forward to spending some time with his family and finally getting some sleep now that things had quieted down again on the international stage. Unfortunately for him, this was not to be.

An aide burst into the room, waving a report in his hands. "Sir! You've got to see this news from Greal!"

"Huhssat?" The Hegemon mumbled, as the man's calls jolted him out of his dozing state. He looked sleepily at the report as it was shoved in front of his eyes. As he read it, all traces of weariness vanished and his face clouded over with anger and outrage. "What does that woman think she is doing!? Prepare my jet, I leave for Greal within the hour!"

As the aide rushed out to obey his orders, Lord Sumguy leaned forward in his chair and rubbed his eyes. This is going to be a long day.

The sunshown rooms of the Royal Palace glittered brightly as dawn broke on the sleeping countryside that surrounded the most guarded place in the country. The King & the Royal Family had gone away on their winter trip to the ski slopes of the city of Mt. Clydeld. So managing for a while was the Prime Minister, Roland J. Massaquine, who was accounting out the buget plan for the next year. He just figured out how to save money by slashing the overfunded police force when suddenly, a messenger barged in.

"Mr. Prime Minister! I bring a telegram from Z12," the messenger announced.
What does the secret service have to tell me now? he thought
He read the message, and then folded it up and gave it back to messenger.
"Does parliament know about this yet?" Roland calmly asked.
"No sir, they no nothing about the assasinations, nor the elections.." the messenger replied.
"Can you please catch the next train to Canalive City, and tell Parliament and the Senate House?" Roland asked.
"Yes sir I can" was the response, and out the door he went.

Roland grabbed the phone, and dialed a number....he had to call someone first, Lord Sumguy.

A few hundred people were arrested and sentenced to life in jail that night, since they were protesting on the streets. The public ignored the news since they couldn't really do anything about it as long as the Greal military still had influence in all parts of the country.

Lord Sumguy's jet touched down onto a runway at Sasha International Airport*, and the Hegemon stepped out. He had no guards with him, and walked to enter a vehicle sent from the Hegemonic Embassy. The car joined a small motorcade and headed towards the President's Office.

Hillcock pressed his face against his desk and groaned "Fuck this country, fuck this war, fuck SOL!" He said loudly, much to the Ingram's dismay "This'll just lead to another god-damned war where I'll have to wait for another five months to see my wife and kids" He said " He stammered, as Ingram let out the air in his lungs loudly "Look, James, I understand, my wife's pregnant and I'm gonna have to fight against her" He replied "I'll just go and talk to Sarah, that's all" At that moment, a huge, armoured Kal'Har Warrior strode into the room "Most honorable General, I am Marcalieus Kel'Ra, and I am here to aid you in you fights" "It's about damn time I got one of you guys around here! We've got to go and talk to Lord Sumguy, and I need a ride. Got anything I could drive?" Marcalieus thought for several long seconds before coming up with an idea "I have a Prowler hovercraft available. Is that acceptable?" A wry smile appeared on Ingram's face "Yes, that'll do fine..."

Within an hour Ingram's Prowler arrived at the Presidential office, and he entered, with the Kal'Har close behind him "Stay here, this is a personal affair..."

The King was not happy at all about what had happened in Greal lately, and he had come home to find his Prime Minister telling him the current news, he had just about lost his temper.

"I can't believe that arrogent woman would now do this!" He yelled in the Main Hall. Him losing his temper was worse then the country falling apart, it didn't happen often, but when it did, it was really bad.

"Your majesty, please control yourself." Roland comfortly said. "It is not the end of the world."

"Yes.........your right," the king said, finally getting some self control.

"But, maybe you should go over there and give her a piece of your mind." Roland suggested.

"Have you gone mad?!" the king said in shock. "I cant personally go over there at a time like this, and I already withdrew our ambassador!.............How about you going?" he suddenly asked.

"At your majesty's wish," Roland replied, he bowed, left the room, and proceeded into the compact limo that would take him to Zargen suburb train station, where he would proceed to Sasha. He then texted Ingram.....

ON MY WAY BY TRAIN TO SASHA, TELL LS TOO. SARAH ACTING SUSPICIOUS BE ON GUARD.

He smiled, diplomacy even to his own king works every time....

The motorcade stoped in front of the Presidential Office, and Lord Sumguy stepped out. His appearance was a far cry from the weary official who had sat at his desk and dozed hours before. Now The Hegemon eminated an aura of command and dignity, his obvious anger causing even the driver to shrink from him as he exited the vehicle.

Spotting Ingram, Lord Sumguy nodded, and walked to the office door, opening it and stepping inside the building.

The Minister of Defense was in the office, Sarah was not.
"Good afternoon Lord Sumguy, I'm not surprised to see you here. Sarah is currently busy with a speech in Womer she should be back soon."said Jason Park smiling.

Roland had arrived at the suburbian train station, to find that he was catching the last train to Sasha.

"Yes sir Mr. Prime Minister, this is the last TGV train to Sasha from Canalive City or in its providencial suburbs." the ticket master said, handing him a ticket.

"But why?" Roland asked.

"Things are too tense, and we don't want anyone to get caught in the middle if anything explodes." he replied. "Well, there is your train."

After all, they did 200 years ago give in a treaty Zoingo's most prized posesion, Canalive City, the capital of Zoingo.

"I know, and I still have to think about our children....what future lies ahead for them?" the king asked, looking at his 11 year old Benjamin, and his 7 year old daughter, Anna, both playing with their toys in the chamber. His family looked so happy, and even with the lifestyle change, they were as close as ever.
And to the thanks of the people, the king is more than a figurehead, and actually has power in his government. On his corination day, he toured the country, and then for a week, visited all the lovely colonies of the Commonwealth. But in his mind, he knew that his country would probably face its hardest challenge yet.

Sarah did not say anything at first, she was basically "stuck" there.
"Some of the Greal people do not wish a election. Everyone doesn't want elections because 20 years the people elected a "worst" president. And my Grandfather had to overthrow him. What would happen if Greal was a democracy, it would be terrible for the people that died 20 years ago to prevent them. The only thing I can offer at this moment is no more arrests."

The Taxi was there in a few minutes since the streets weren't crowded today. A Greal Imperial Guard stopped him at the door.

The Guards who were all over 6 feet high ignored Lord Sumguy and took him out the back door of the building. Lord Sumguy could see more Imperial Guards going into the building, to arrest the others..........

He continued "I will not come, I will never step foot on Greal grounds again until I know exactly where Lord Sumguy is.."

He sent a message to the 5th Fleet, consisting of 120 ships, of those, those were 50 destroyers, 40 missile cruisers, 5 Typhoon class submarines, 4 George Washington class Super Carriers, and two Peter the Great class battle ships, to prepare for mobilization, depending on what happens.

Roland woke up to a bright day in the port, he got up, got dressed, and went down to the lobby for breakfast.

I have no idea what Sarah is doing.....what is up with her? Roland thought as he sat down and ate.

She did say herself that the treaty is no longer vaid.....and that we lived "in a new age"....what does that mean? What is she truly up to? And why do I feel like im under country arrest even though im not in jail? Does this have to be so hard? I never realized it this way.......this is so awful....

After eating....he went back to his room to pack up his stuff....and then something hit him mentaly.

Roland had just decided to take a train back to Sasha and then continue out from there, everything in the country seemed backwards from his perspective, ever since the Red Skull tried to overthrow the government.

This is just not like her he thought, never in her lifetime would she ever arrest Lord Sumguy, its just too cruel for her. Maybe it has to do with the fact that she is married to Ingram.....and she is pregnant.

The four armoured jeeps drive up to the gates of the Sumguaian Embassy in Greal. The Second United Kingdom Ministry of Defense had arrived to hold talks with the Sumguaians. Twenty armed British soldiers jumped out of their jeep and headed to the first jeep. Prime Minister Jack Patterson and his Defense Secretary Allan McBourgh got out while thirty British soldiers got out the forth truck and helped the Joint-Chiefs of Staff out of their jeep.

All fifty troops walked beside their commanders to protect them from harm. Prime Minister Patterson qikcly walked up to the steps of the embassy and saw Dr.Booker. Prime Minister Patterson quickly shaked Dr.Booker's hand nd started to talk with him.

"Hello Dr.Booker. I'm Jack Patterson and behind me are the Joint Chief of Staff and my Defense Secretary the entire Defense Ministry. I suggst we quikcly get inside before anyone gets word of our arrival here in Greal".

The Sumguaians had certainly not neglected to bolster security. Nearly 300 Royal Guardsman were scattered throughout the embassy, with 40 lining the entrance. As the Prime Minister passed them, they bowed in respect.

The Joint-chiefs of staff and the Defence Secretary took their place and sat down. Prime Minister Patterson walked over to the map of Greal and started to speak to everything.

"Hello everyone. Today I am here because we need to start planning for this upcoming war. Gentlemen for the next few weeks this shall be our headquarters and this meeting room shall be a room for planning our combat missions and such. This room shall be off limits to any else who is not in this meeting today."

Jack took out a pointer and struck it to the map of Greal to get everyone's attention.

"Gentlemen what came to mind is that we start a huge Airstrike on Greal first before we even put ground troops on the ground. These airstrikes shall take out military bases, military airports, military headquarters and anything that is part of the Greal army gentlemen. So today we shall just discuss the aircraft and weapons that we are going to use during the airstrike".

A dozen black vans was parked near the embassy. Inside each van was a dozen “thugs” assigned by the GIA to attack the Sumguian embassy. They were well trained and were deadly. Their mission was to kill everyone inside, and the Greal government would have no part of the attack. The government could blame the Mafia or Gangsters for the attack.

The attack begun, 144 “Thugs” blasted the embassy gate open......

The doors were blasted open, two doormen and a guard being killed in the blast. The Sumguaians had been expecting such an attack, and the 300 Royal Guardsmen Dr. Booker had brought with him immediately set upon the "thugs".

"I will show you to your.." Dr. Booker began, but was interrupted by the sound of an explosion as the 'thugs' blasted the entrance open. "What on earth!?" He exlaimed, as a young woman approached the men.

"There has been an explosion at the entrance, sir." She said stoicly, despite being obviously afraid. "I'm told the attackers will be repelled easily, but your assistance is needed Doctor, as well as yours, General. I will show you to your room, Mr. Patterson, there is nothing for you to worry about."

She led the Prime Minister toward the center of the building. "I am Lord Sumguy's secretary, and shall be serving as your personal assistant until his return." She stated this as if the Hegemon's return was a fact, inevitable and obvious. "Your new bodyguard will be around shortly, he is assisting with the situation at the entrance."

OOC: they werent charging them, they were shooting at them with assault rifles...The Sumguaians are fully equipped with the best available weaponry and armor.

anyway, i would really prefer if this attack did not succeed, as there are quite a few important characters inside the embassy.

Another 3 police cars were guarding the convoy as it moved down south. Lord Sumguy could see a couple of old Mokan tanks from the last war rusting on the highway.

Not only this, but he spoke in code. "Behold, I am the light which shines forth to illuminate the world. Indeed, the light shined in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. The woman of grey has fallen to temptation, and has betrayed the light, corrupted by the power that darkness promises. I think that a few lanterns would greatly aid the light in it's struggle agaisnt the darkness, for darkness follows close behind. The light shines forth upon the sixth city, but shall not remain for long. It travels to the hub, and from there will seek to enter the promised land." He closed the phone, smiling.

One of the men in the van took out a RPG and broke a hole in the window, and fired at the police car behind Lord Sumguy's car. The police car exploded and the 3 officers were killed instantly, the officer in Lord Sumguy's car panicked and drove faster.

The driver nodded. Another RPG fired but it missed and instead hit a bus passing by, killing everyone on board, passbyers were horrified by the shooting and drove off in panic. A police officer broke a hole in the window and fired over and over.

The van had tough wheels but the van slowed down when 3 bullets destabilized the van, the van driver cursed and fired back and also destabilized the police car that Lord Sumguy was in..........

The van turned and crashed and fell off the highway, other vans chased the destabilizing police car. The 2 other police cars turned around to "cover" the police car that Lord Sumguy was in. A police Helicopter arrived and machine gunned the vans, but one of the people in the van fired a missile, and the helicopter went crashing down onto the highway, blocking Lord Sumguy's "escape route"
"Now what."asked the police officer driver who was reloading the Glock and gave it to Lord Sumguy.

The driver turned the police car sideways that way they could be behind the police car if they attack. Though they had to move if a RPG blasted the car.

Mr. Delmar sighed, the tight relations had forced Zoingo recently to shut down the embassy in Greal, but only momentarily. In recent news, the Prime Minister had been gone for a while, and the situation only seemed to get worse.
Maybe Dr. Brooker knows something about the disaperance of Roland, its a risk, but what else to I have to lose. He thought as he locked up for the day.
He headed over to the Sumguaian embassy a little down the way, he heard fighting earlier, but it seemed to calm down for the moment, he then proceeded through the embassy.

Sasha, Railroad Station

Roland was back in Sasha, this wild goose chase had forced him back into the city, he then proceeded back into the city, the one that he had been at 48 hours earlier......

The King and the Upper Courts were in ablaze as theory after theory was formed about his wearabouts, no one knew where he was, and it had been too long.

"Just like old times..." The Hegemon commented to himself, and took of one of his gloves, kissing an ornate tattoo on the back of his hand. The tattoo was an elaborate black cross, and around it was written the words: And the wicked shall be as chaff before the wind.* He was silent for a moment before joining the officers in firing upon the approaching vans.

A group of six SUV's from the embassy, the Sumguaian flag emblazoned upon their sides, traveled down a highway from Sasha, heading for the Hegemon's location. Inside were twenty six heavily armed Royal Guardsmen.

Sumguaian Embassy:
"This way, sir." The young woman said, leading the UK2 Prime Minister down a hallway. This area of the building was for the moment deserted, everyone being currently occupied with the situationa at the entrance. She opened a door, revealing a small but comfortable looking bedroom. "As I said before, your new bodyguard will report once things have been sorted out up front. Is there anything else you need, sir?"

*OOC: the tattoo is a reference to a secret society within the Holy Empire, this is my first introduction of it into an RP outside of the Sons of Sagacity. The references to this society will grow more numerous over time, and It will be the base for a future RP.

A black cross was tattooed on the back of his neck, identical to the one on the back of Lord Sumguy's hand.

"May I speek to Mr. Brooker...this is really urgent." Mr. Delmar asked one of the secretary's. "It is about the disapperance of our Prime Minister...." he added. "If he is not here, can I speak to the one in charge?"

Roland knew that now he was a wanted man....it had been 48 hours since he left Sasha, and now he was back where he started.

I'd normally call this ironic, but this is rediculous. Roland thought.

He continued down Embassy Avenue, he was supprised that it was closed, so he turned to the next most embassy that he could trust, the Sumguaian embassy.

A police officer in a police cruiser had been watching Roland, wondering where he had seen Roland’s face before.

"Actually no, I do know where I am going, but thank you officer." Roland explained. "I heard that there was some commotion down at the Sumguaian embassy, and our ambassador left to check it out, and since Im one of the secretaries, I was heading over there to find out if he was still there, so I locked up and here I am."

3 Black vans showed up behind Lord Sumguy. The Police were outnumbered and surrounded, and Sasha was 2 hours away. 15 Police cars crammed with 48 officers were heading to rescue Lord Sumguy. The firing was deadly, a dozen bullets hit the officer next to Lord Sumguy and he went down. The only way to get out of there was to jump into the river near them, but the river had crocodiles in them.

The Hegemon ducked behind a car, only showing his head to fire. After emptying the clip of his pistol, he began using the shotgun that had been given to him, Before long this weapon would be out of ammunition as well.

"Right here, Mr. Patterson." Booker said, who had been walking up behind the Prime Minister as the man spoke. "What is it you need?"

"I will show you to him." The secretary replied, and led Mr. Delmar down a hallway.

"Very well." the woman responded, handing the guard a handgun and a knife from within her clothing. "The Hegemon's employees are expected to function as bodyguards should the need arise." she explained, before walking inside the bunker.

"Dr.Booker I want you to inform all nations allied with us to get prepared for an airstrike against Greal. I want a base built in a country closer to Greal and I want all allied forces to arrive to that base. I also want Greal policed removed from the embassy our forces can handle this."

Roland presented his passport.
"I work for the Zoingonian embassy, and I was here to see our ambassador on some new information that has come out of the office," he explained.

"I will show you to him." The secretary replied, and led Mr. Delmar down a hallway.

Delmar was lead down the hallway to a meeting room, and inside, he just caught the United Kingdom2 ambassador saying something about a military base.

"We border Greal," he spoke up. "And our Prime Minister is missing, he was said to have last been seen going into the Greal Presidental Office."

"Ah, Mr. Delmar! Just the person who can help us!" Booker said, walking forward to shake the man's hand. "Would your government mind terribly if we stationed a large number of Hegemonic forces within Zoingo?" While he waited for an answer, he turned back to Patterson: "I will have them informed immediately, and the police will be gone within minutes."

Minutes later an encrypted message would be sent to the Ministry of Defense of every Hegemonic nation, with the exception of Greal:

By the order of the acting Hegemon Jack Patterson, all Hegemonic militaries are to prepare for an air strike against major military facilities under the ownership of the government of Greal. No attack is to be made yet, but one may become neccesary in the near future.

As the message was being sent, Royal Guardsman began to file out of the embassy. A captain approached a nearby group of policemen. "We can handle the security of this complex at this point. By order of the Hegemon, All Greal police forces are to vacate the area."

Lord Sumguy continued to trade fire with his attackers, grimacing in pain as a bullet pierced his arm. His ammunition was nearly depleted, and he could only hope that help would arrive soon.

You will find that he has attracted a lot of people like himself in that regard. I fear you and I might be the only people here who dont border on being fanatics. I would suggest that you be careful around the embassy employees, especially your new bodyguard and secretary."
