Answer my question, why am I denied?

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Emperor William Kennedy, the sovereign of the Wilhelm-Hatarian Empire, made his way up Boylston Street towards the Boston Common. Surrounding him was a security detail made up of about three dozen guards. Military choppers were flying overhead, and there were snipers posted on the roof of every building along the street.

But this had no affect on the Emperor's mood. On the contrary, he was grinning from ear to ear. After so many years away, William had finally come home.

He turned to his left and looked up at the Old South Church. Then he turned to his right and looked up at the Boston Public Library, the oldest public library in the former United States of America. Towering above the building stood the John Hancock Tower, the tallest structure in Boston.

The Emperor grinned harder. It was all completely familiar to him. Just as it should be. But it was only through dumb luck at all that he was even here. When he had learned that the North American continent was up for grabs, William had immediately seized upon the opportunity and claimed New England, his home region, into the holdings of his empire.

And when his claim had been verified, the Emperor immediately set out for Boston, escorted by Armada One, which now sat in and around Boston Harbor.

And now, his home was now under his direct control. Cambridge, Lowell, Newburyport, Worcester...the Greater Boston Area...I-93, I-95, Route 128, the Mass Pike...the Berkshires, the White Mountains, the Green Mountains...Cape Cod, Cape Ann, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket Island...an area of 186,458.8 km²...and he had gained it all without firing a shot, or paying one cent.

At this very moment, the military was moving to occupy vacant military bases across New England, and Wilhelm-Hatarian lawmakers were briefing community leaders on the new authority in town. However, even though Emperor William was now in charge, he wasn't about to make any significant changes as to how things were run. The region had been doing well long before he took over. It was more or less capable of managing its own affairs...under the umbrella of the Wilhelm-Hatarian Empire of course.

The security detail led the Emperor to a waiting limo. He climbed in and the vehicle quickly sped away.

The HPS Bravery came to a gentle stop on the shores of Costa Rica. It and the HPS Dangnabit (The Faxanavians had some strange names for ships...) were transporting 1,000 settlers to the new colony of Faxanavian Americana. The Imperator had laid claim to the beautiful lands of Central America, and had gotten hold of a little it of South America too. Now, these settlers arrived in a strange land, much warmer and more tropical than the Faxanavia they knew. The capital city was to be San Jose, and it was on to its future placement that the people now stepped, blinking on the sunlight. With the settlers had come a contingent of 500 mebers of the armed forces, and together, they all set about unpacking the prefabricated hoes that had come with them.

On second thought, Orzio withdraws its claim.

Today was a busy day at the harbors of Nova Lisboa, as thousands were moving through to get inside the 5,000 passengers cruise ships heading towards South America. Entire families boarded and occupied the simple but highly comfortable bedrooms of the Gama Class ships, while others already went straight to the relatively small recreation commons of them to play table tennis, computer multiplayer games or relax in the common pool and others went to the kitchen to organize and prepare barbecue, bacalhau (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacalhau) dishes, pastéis de belém (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pastel_de_nata) and other dishes. At the same time container ships were being loaded with construction materials, crops, electronics and many other resources. With them a small escort fleet with one Oso Class Carrier-cruiser carrying 5 F-35Bs, 5 F-22 Raptors and 5 F-20Rs, 3 Hobart Class destroyers and 1 Galicia class Landing Platform Dock, which also carried 2 armored Steel Striders platoons, 1 Iron Column infantry platoon and 4 EH101 helicopters, a small force for self-defense, which would in turn become the initial force of theirs once they reached their destination and declared independence from Third Spanish States.


The Cabral (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portuguese_colonization_of_the_Americas) civilian fleet of 15 cruise ships and 7 container ships departed from New Lisbon, escorted by the mentioned military fleet, they went Southwards through Third Spanish States East Coast, until reaching the high seas from where they continued moving towards South America and to the direction of Northern Amazon, until they reached the coast of Brazil, right at the frontier with French Guiana coast (http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imagem:Amapa_MesoMicroMunicip.svg).

With the help of amphibious ships, the passengers and cargo of the larger ships was offloaded at the unoccupied beach. A junkie among them, as an humorous celebration and honor, putted an old music of a famous Brazilian star and anarchist in his OGG player as he smoked weed from a bong, the music was named "Anarquilópolis"(Anarchilopolis), which was then the name given for their about to be built town.

As the sun rose over along the coast of the Americas, a group of Natives living up and down the coast of the area below Wilhemsborough's colony, stretching from the land termed New York down to Virginia and including all in between, saw a strange sight. Everywhere up and down the coast there were large behemoths of black steel approaching the shore, with what seemed like shining birds following them. As the ships approached the shore, the fled in fear, seeking to spread the word to their brothers and sisters of the coming darkness.

On the IFS Dark Dawn Admiral Namor Nightrune Grinned. Up and down the coast the elements of the Fourth Imperial Fleet of Ice Forge, the First Colonial Fleet of Ice Forge, and the seventh Arcturan Guards of Ice Forge To colonize the first official colony of Ice Forge. Throughout the area, amphibious transports were disgorging troops and tanks, all of whom were making an effort to secure the area for the 100,000 colonists who followed behind. The plan was for five starting cities. On the Island at the mouth of the river chirstened the Hudric, the city of New Undra City was founded, holding an initial 20,000 in its area. In the area where an ancient ruin named phillidalphia was located, the city of Taranburg was founded, holding an initial 15,000 people in its shere of influence. In the area overlooking of a small native town called Richmond, the city of Dark Heights was founded, holding 20,000. And finally, in prime land bordering two of the largest lakes in they had ever found, which they named Hiraz Lake (Erie) and Windrunner Lake (Ontario), the founded what was to be the colonial capitol, New IceCrown, which would start with 25,000 citizens.

As all of this occured, with the elements of the Guards and the Fourth Fleet taking poisistion to guard the new colony, which was named Menethillia in honer of the Emperor, may he live forever, Admiral Namor smiled. This was going to be a wold ride.

if possible, i would like to claim the nova scotian peninsula, cape breton island, anticosti island, puerto rico, and the bahamas as all of the islands (and the one pensinula) appear unclaimed upon the map. as for the colour of the shading, i have no real preference, whichever is easiest for the purpose of differentiation i suppose. if approved, i shall endeavour to get a post up forthwith.

The first of the RF-4C's to be based at Dallas AFB touched down, from the 163rd Tactical Recon Group, followed by a C-40 Clipper, carrying the new leader of the Western Republic of Calizorinstan, Thomas Michael, a former Admiral from the Calizorinstani Navy, and as such he was still referred to as Admiral.

It was a regular hot day in Texas, and Adm.Michael had apparently dressed for it, as he exited the C-40, he was wearing a cowboy hat, a hawaiian shirt, blue jeans, and cowboy boots.

Colonel Wilhelm Klink stood on the deck of the Battleship, when he spotted it, land. He shouted up to the captain, and told him to stop the ship. This would be as far as the Battleship would be going. Col. Klink would be leaving via helicopter to meet with the landing force when it reached land. For now he would stand there on the deck, next to one of the large 16-inch guns, watching the landing unfold before him. Soon his troops would have a secure beachhead established, and they would be ready to secure the rest of the territory. As soon as that was finished the first civilians would be arriving via aircraft.

Mouth of the Amazon River - I'mari City - Emporer's Palace

"Emporer Alina, black mountains come on the horizon... High Priest Ugamodo says the Gods are unpleased with the sacrifices, that is why the black mountains have come.", the old, fat native advisor spoke, kneeling to the floor before the young Emporess Alina, whom had only just turned seventeen, and was now the Empress of the I'mari Empire, arguably the most powerful in the Southern Americas. The massive room overlooked the mouth of the Amazon River, which was covered in small fishing vessels, as it always was this time of day. The young, beautiful Empress sighed, she had no desire to rule, but the responsibility to lead her people had been thrown upon her rather abruptly with the consecutive deaths of her father and brother.

The room was filled with precious metals, gold, silver, gems and stones which would make the most wealthy of men drool in envy. The magnificent golden gown of the Empress commanded attention, but in comparison to her splendid crown, studded with rubies and diamonds, nothing could be considered anything less than bland. The Chosen Guard, those men whom lined the hallway before the Empress' throne, woar masks of gold, and carried spears of silver blades, the only weapon that could defeat a God... or so the legend told.

Alina looked to the old man and spoke. "I must see these black mountains... take me to them.", the Empress commanded, and she was promptly lifted into the air by the Chosen Guard, whom hoisted her throne five feet high, and followed the advisor. After several minutes of traveling through the palace, the throne was set down on a balcony over looking both the city and the Great Ocean. Upon the Great Ocean sat massive ships, ships which were as large as buildings... there sat many of them... over fifteen off the coast... and now, smaller vessels approached, vessels which seemed like fishing boats, but were made of metal.

The first one landed, and that was the first time the Gods were seen. They were not actually Gods... they were close, but not quite Gods. They were Kroandon Legionnaires in the Honvorg Infantry Apparatus V.2 (http://z14.invisionfree.com/Kroando_Tech_Inc/index.php?showtopic=32), intimidating figures which to the natives of the I'mari Empire, looked nothing like humans, but some sort of monsters sent by the Gods. Speaking a strange unknown language, they promptly showered with gifts... however it did not take long for the trouble to start. The I'mari brought to the Gods a python, the symbol of the Gods in I'mari Tradition. The Kroandons whom had landed on the beach shouted at the natives, ordering them to take the snakes away... but they did not understand, and instead threw the python at Field Marshal Korin, which proceeded to coil around his leg and begin attacking him.

Within seconds the crowd of natives was mowed down by a hail of K1 Assault Rifles, and the python hacked apart by various bayonets. The second and third transports landed, followed by a pair of Amphibious Assault Vehicles, which rolled onto the beached and into the city. The Kroandon attack that followed was nothing short of brutal, with thousands of natives being massacred before the Kroandons made their way to the Empress' Palace.

Up the massive stairs the Gods traveled, to topple the Empire of History. The Chosen Guards rushed down, ready to defend their ruler from these demons... yet they only found bullets, and to the ground they fell. The Kroandons reached the Empress before long, with the Chosen Guard laying dead and bullet riddled around them. Field Marshal Korin removed his battle helmet, revealing his pale white, shaved, scarred heat to the young Empress, grabbing her by the throat and pulling her close, whispering into her ear in a sickening fasion, "Hello Empress Alina... My name is Marshal Korin... I have a question to ask you...", the evil man looked into her young, innocent eyes. "Have you ever been fucked by a God?"

By the end of the day, Junkers Employees were dismanteling the city, looting the vast wealth it possessed... but only after the Legionnaires had had their fill...

War Room
Lucidare, Cookborough

Adriana looked at the map of the world, and saw the many Cookborough colonies and dependencies that dotted it. She was over joyed The Cookboroughan Empire was spread out over many continents.

From Italia and Aegitto in the Mediterranian they had sent their fleets and forces to the west, and landed in northern Canada. They had met fiece resistance in Nova Scotia, Cape Breton Island, and Labrador, where they had first landed. After several weeks of bombing raids the defenders soon gave way. Soon the surrounding areas fell or surrendered. Prince Edward Island held out for a week but the Cookboroughans had gotten stragetic superiority. So far this lighting campaign had worked out well, but was not over.

The Quebecois came to defense their land, and off the coast of Anticosti Island they battled for the future of their nation. The Quebecois fleet rounded the island to a horrid suprise. They managed to split the Cookboroughan Fleet in two and keep themselves intact, but they were no match for the Cookboroughan air superiority. The defeat at Anticosti was the death knoll for Quebec, with in a month Cookboroughan troops were marching through Quebec City and Montreal. Thus was the end of the Bellum Acadiae .

But Cookborough was not finished their, for they had also set their eyes to the south and already theirs and ships from the Naishu had set sail for the shores of Chile and Bolivia....the Bellum Pacificae would soon begin!

3 Weeks After the Fall of I'Mari City

I'Mari City was but a shadow of it's former self, it's vast wealth and rich markets were empty... the mouth of the Amazon, normally filled with fishing and trade vessels, were barren save for a few Kroandon Hovercraft which patrolled the river, directing their machine guns to the shore. Massive fires were created in various sections of the city, burning the thousands of corpses that remained from the massacre that had taken place only a few weeks ago. Those that remained, roughly 40,000 in all, were now working - chains and collars around their necks... they worked in many different areas. Some dragged bodies to the vast burn piles... others worked in lugging chests of gold to the Kroandon Transport Ships on the coast. Others still were transported to lumber camps outside the city, where they worked with the most basic tools in leveling the massive trees of the forest, which would promptly be loaded up into trucks and taken back to the city, from there it was a straight shot to Kroandon Lumber Mills...

However there was one troubling effect... massive numbers of deaths due to disease. Contact with the Kroandons had infected massive swaths of the populations with diseases that had long ago been overcome by the conqorers. The dead were simply thrown into the massive burn piles, while the living were given vaccines and medications for the diseases... after all, if they were to keep working, they had to live. The once glorious city was reduced to a mere shadow of it's former self, with only the great temples and palaces still standing, the majority of the city having been leveled and prepared for modern construction.

Junkers Korp. vessels loaded and unloaded all day and night, with mining equipment, lumber harvesting tools and other such utensils being unloaded, and massive amounts of stone, gold, lumber and various native possessions being loaded up. I'Mari City and the surrounding lands had yielded great amounts of wealth... and the Kroandon thirst for more quickly grew. Every day a new Junkers Vessel arrived, a massive cargo ship which unloaded hundreds of disgusting looking men, axes, saws, drills, chain saws and bulldozers, and anchored itself off the coast. The men then set up camp a mile or so in the jungle, and within a few days, a clearing of several kilometers was made, the lumber promptly being stored in the ships bowels. As Kroandon Airstrikes cleared out native resistance, it only became easier... with more and more men arriving. The majority of the expansion was driven south, with scores of lumber camps filling the jungle, a large number of military camps, usually small, around 100-400 men, also took up residence in the 'Southern Push'.

Before long, the Kroandons had to air drop men, because their expansion was quicker than the road crews below. The massive numbers of natives and Junkers were working at over 25 kilometers a day, an astounding rate of road construction, achieved through ingenuity, technology and good old fasion slave labor. Within Three weeks, 525 kilometers of pathed road had been layed. However by this same time, the Kroandons had reached the Western most point of their permitted expansion [Peru]... but still their thirst grew, having been air dropped in days before. Colonel Veclador was at the command of this 240 man force, in the depths of the thickest jungle in the New World, and they continued to move west, deeper into what was for no reason at all, being called, 'Peru'. These 240 men treked forward in their Honvorg Infantry Apperatus V2s (http://z14.invisionfree.com/Kroando_Tech_Inc/index.php?act=Post&CODE=08&f=12&t=32&p=10311871&st=), sweating their asses off as the cooling units attempted to keep them from heat stroke, however they did have to break every hour or so, simply to keep from dying.

Velcador's Expedition as it would be called in the history books, first encountered the natives of the land on the river 'Rio Ucayalli'... and massacred them all, leading the people to believe that the God's whom had destroyed the I'Mari now came for them...

Month 2

The city of Anarchilopolis soon was only one of a dozen of cities, most of them already existing before the arrival of the colonists. It wasn't a difficult matter to integrate both people as they spoke the same language and shared similar cultural aspects, as both had Portuguese ethnic and cultural roots among others, and the offer of not having to pay taxes anymore for some fat cats that existed previously was too big to be ignored or resisted against. Both people kept their cultures, while local anarchists have become mediators among them. Things were prospering as a second wave of immigrants arrived from air. The previously existing roads were being repaired and improved while several communes start to bring new technologies, knowledge and wealth to the region.

However disturbing reports came from the southern border. Reports about genocide, slavery and mass murder being perpetrated by the colonization effort of Kroando. Loads of refugees ran to Anarchilopolis borders to escape from their oppression and were being welcome abroad as citizens while the reports were retransmitted to their allies, the Confederation Internationale, about the genocide in southern Amazon.

The answer was almost immediate as paranoid thoughts roared on the potential threat to the South. Soon fifteen steel striders and fifteen iron columns were headed to Anarchilopolis together with 20 S-400 Triumf systems, and several border villages, or more exactly, military observation posts and fortresses with long range radars and SAM platforms, were being constructed around the border with Kroando claims. And finally Third Spanish Navy mobilized four Cruiser-Carriers, 10 cruisers 45 destroyers, 25 frigates, 50 corvettes, 25 attack submarines, 85 Littoral Combat Ships, 35 F-20R Shadowsharks, 30 F-22 Raptors and 30 F-35Bs, also deployed to defend Anarchilopolis coast, and in the case of Littoral combat ships, rivers as well, while the Air Force sent 100 F-35A, 85 F-22 Raptors, 120 F-20R Shadowsharks and a handful of UAVs and AEW&C (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airborne_Early_Warning_and_Control)s to recently established airbases as further protection.

Drvarkovska
The first stage

Many Drvarskan citizens were excited to establish a new colony in a foreign land and the land that has been claimed was perfect. It provided good raw materials such as mining for gold, silver and steel. There was also a good supply of oil to be pumped but that was put as a lower priority due to enviornmental reasons.

Some Two million citizens so far have been transported by ship and some officials by air. Drvarska mainly sent a Military Force to establish a strong Naval Base which will spread the area of operations of the Drvarskan Military. The production of war material and equipment will be produced in Drvarkovska.

A capital of Krivak has been established along the coastline in the West and is home to 850,000 people. The rest of civillians has been spread out to mining towns and some oil fields.

Would anyone mind if I annexed what's left of the Eastern United States (from Wisconsin to Georgia) into my territory?

IC: Life in Menethillia was going well for the colonists. Industry had srpung up quickly, with lumber and farming being prevelant , as well as mining and ship building. In New Undra City, the colonists were focusing on developing the port, as they were to be the gateway to Menethillia for trade. Dark Heights and Taranburg were focusing mostly on farming, with some of the business men taking advantage of the space to work on building up the beginnings of industry. Each city quickly ended up with towns and villages radiating out from them. New Icecrown was the exception. The capitol was focusing entirely on industry as well as governing buildings on land, but the biggest undertaking they had was the building of shipyards and the Forgemen wonder of technology, the floating city, on both Hiraz Lake and Windrunner lake. The military established as many devensive positions as they deemed feasible.

Overall, the colony was beginning to prosper. Now came the polotics...

OOC: I think I will benefit from my Hudson Bay coast actually and I guess that's the way the lands flow. The only problem is that I enter from the pacific but it is definetly a short cut for Atlantic countries.

The ship landed on the shore. Not the shore of newly-named Vakovison Island but close to a native village. There were natives there as there were in nearly every Uir territory including Anaritika and the Homeland. The Homeland was run by natives which was what set it apart. The system to be set in place would largely ignore the natives. Vakovison was to be the governor of Uir Pasifik Amerika. There were other governors, of course. The other two colonies would be Uir Midel Amerika and Uir Es Amerika. The boundaries between Pasifik and Mid would be the 120th Meridin Os of the Anigilis Meridin (Greenwich). The boundary between Mid and Es would be the 110th Meridin Os of the Anigilis Meridin.

3 Weeks After the Fall of I'Mari City

I'Mari City was but a shadow of it's former self, it's vast wealth and rich markets were empty... the mouth of the Amazon, normally filled with fishing and trade vessels, were barren save for a few Kroandon Hovercraft which patrolled the river, directing their machine guns to the shore. Massive fires were created in various sections of the city, burning the thousands of corpses that remained from the massacre that had taken place only a few weeks ago. Those that remained, roughly 40,000 in all, were now working - chains and collars around their necks... they worked in many different areas. Some dragged bodies to the vast burn piles... others worked in lugging chests of gold to the Kroandon Transport Ships on the coast. Others still were transported to lumber camps outside the city, where they worked with the most basic tools in leveling the massive trees of the forest, which would promptly be loaded up into trucks and taken back to the city, from there it was a straight shot to Kroandon Lumber Mills...

However there was one troubling effect... massive numbers of deaths due to disease. Contact with the Kroandons had infected massive swaths of the populations with diseases that had long ago been overcome by the conqorers. The dead were simply thrown into the massive burn piles, while the living were given vaccines and medications for the diseases... after all, if they were to keep working, they had to live. The once glorious city was reduced to a mere shadow of it's former self, with only the great temples and palaces still standing, the majority of the city having been leveled and prepared for modern construction.

Junkers Korp. vessels loaded and unloaded all day and night, with mining equipment, lumber harvesting tools and other such utensils being unloaded, and massive amounts of stone, gold, lumber and various native possessions being loaded up. I'Mari City and the surrounding lands had yielded great amounts of wealth... and the Kroandon thirst for more quickly grew. Every day a new Junkers Vessel arrived, a massive cargo ship which unloaded hundreds of disgusting looking men, axes, saws, drills, chain saws and bulldozers, and anchored itself off the coast. The men then set up camp a mile or so in the jungle, and within a few days, a clearing of several kilometers was made, the lumber promptly being stored in the ships bowels. As Kroandon Airstrikes cleared out native resistance, it only became easier... with more and more men arriving. The majority of the expansion was driven south, with scores of lumber camps filling the jungle, a large number of military camps, usually small, around 100-400 men, also took up residence in the 'Southern Push'.

Before long, the Kroandons had to air drop men, because their expansion was quicker than the road crews below. The massive numbers of natives and Junkers were working at over 25 kilometers a day, an astounding rate of road construction, achieved through ingenuity, technology and good old fasion slave labor. Within Three weeks, 525 kilometers of pathed road had been layed. However by this same time, the Kroandons had reached the Western most point of their permitted expansion [Peru]... but still their thirst grew, having been air dropped in days before. Colonel Veclador was at the command of this 240 man force, in the depths of the thickest jungle in the New World, and they continued to move west, deeper into what was for no reason at all, being called, 'Peru'. These 240 men treked forward in their Honvorg Infantry Apperatus V2s (http://z14.invisionfree.com/Kroando_Tech_Inc/index.php?act=Post&CODE=08&f=12&t=32&p=10311871&st=), sweating their asses off as the cooling units attempted to keep them from heat stroke, however they did have to break every hour or so, simply to keep from dying.

Velcador's Expedition as it would be called in the history books, first encountered the natives of the land on the river 'Rio Ucayalli'... and massacred them all, leading the people to believe that the God's whom had destroyed the I'Mari now came for them...

Wait...that means PAB has Quebec and such. Cookborough didn't claim Manitoba and Nunavut though. They claimed what PAB has. As for not editing my claim, that's fine but the 'arm' is still up for grabs as far as I'm concerned. Really, I'm just looking for South American Pacific Coast so I though Ecuador looked good.

Inside the bustling center of bureaucracy known as the Lost Hills Department of Defense, three men reigned supreme. One was, obviously, the Secretary of Defense himself. The second was the Commander-in-Chief of the Lost Hills Defense Forces, General of the Army John Daniels. Fairly obvious.

The third man was not so obvious. Mr. Rupert Case of the Lost Hills Army Strategic Planning office wielded more power than the King Himself. He controlled almost every aspect of the Army's long term strategy, from procurement to force organization to what the troopers ate every night in the mess hall.

The King had telephoned Case early to inform him of a vast amount of land that had been claimed by an expedition of fishermen. It appeared a grand land mass had been discovered, and it was all in the hands of the King and His advisors.

Case had requested the land immediately. All of it.

Lost Hills had for years lacked a proper large-scale training facility for wargames, particularly those involving live munitions. The nobles and the Noble Council had always halted efforts to start one, citing "environmental concerns."

The King realized this as well, and he was very much in favor of establishing a new military base overseas. The land mass was a manageable distance away to travel by plane or ship, and a new base could be fabricated rather quickly. With trillions in the defense budget going to waste every year, there was simply no reason not to.

Case and the King had haggled over what to name the facility, when the King, a former professor of the Classics, decided upon the name.

Two weeks later, a fleet of ships disembarked to construct the Charybdis Advanced Training Facility.
