With the death of Halim Jerashaw, the self-proclaimed Dictator of Turka-Sir after the fall of the old government, a new election is underway. The people of the country are once again returning to its democratic roots, and hopes are high for a prosperous, pro-West government that will better the country this time around. The last regime in power almost completely destroyed the country with its radical views on other religions and Western policies. The cleanup from the previous war will be a major issue, and will surely come up more than once in each candidates' speeches. The results of this presidential election will undoubtly redefine Turka-Sir, and its relations with other nations.

The candidates are as follows:

Name: Hadith Abu Dawud
Party: People's Party
Pledge: It is time to throw off the shackles of oppression shown by our past government. Everyone, including those of different races or creeds, deserve equality. If we are elected, we will change this country for the better. We will lower taxes, increase public education and health, and build better roads-- something other than those quagmires that pass for roads in this country-- Of course we will have to divert fundings from our military and law enforcements in order to do this... But it is for the better! After all, why would we need those things if we work together peacefully? We must focus on rebuilding ourselves first and foremost!

Name: Harb Wahab al-Jushamee
Party: Hasam
Pledge: Our deceased leader, may peace be with him and Allah embrace him in Paradise, would have wanted for us to continue our Jihad against the Infidel! We have defeated the armies that the West has thrown at us, now is the time to attack! We must conscript any and all able-bodied men to join in the military and set out on a glorious compaign against the devils that dare to desecrate our soil. It is because of them that we are ruined. Our homes are but ruins, are economy has all but collapsed, and worse... Our pride and honour have been stepped on. All funding from rebuilding must be diverted to our military so we may keep our defenses up. How else will we be able to prevent further incursions from the West? We must keep alive the dream Mr. Jerashaw had dreamed of. We must drive out the West from our lands and push for a free Middle-East, free of imperialistic ambitions from other countries. Allahu Akbar, God is Great!

Name: Alesha Asima Ismat
Party: Conservative
Pledge: As a woman, my candidency alone is quite controversial. Well I intend to take it a step further. I propose that, if I am elected, that we totally reform our ways. The Western governments are prospering, while we are floundering in the mud of poverty. Why? I believe it is because we refuse to realise that what they have is actually working for them. Equality, healthcare, education, law and order, defense... All of those sectors of importance are thriving under their ways. I propose that we follow their example, and reach out for connections. If we simply ask for help, they might lend us a hand in rebuilding our country. Who knows, with the help of other nations we may even become strong enough to be a superpower.... I'm thinking too far ahead. Right now we should focus on creating ties with others and growing through trade and business.

While the ultimate decision is up to the people, a large portion of votes can be swayed because of international support for a certain candidate. What do the other governments think of these three?
