Official Statement From The Department of National Defence:

At aprox. 12:46 we received information about a planned assasination attempt on Lord Ragan II. We have determined that the person who planned this was none other than the ambassador who was sent to The Great Nation of Plotadonia! He has been prosecuted of high treason against the Dictator of Talentay. He was sentenced to hang in the capital of Talentay. We have not however discovered his motive yet.

Oh Great Lord Ragan III, sir I am so horribly sorry!

Plotadonia regrets this horrible accident. It was really my fault sir, and I can barely live with it. You see, this ambassador had been brought to my attention by his school teachers, who had suspected some kind of derangement, and frankly, I could see where they were coming from. But I just couldn't... well... I can't bring myself sometimes to squash the hopes of someone who had worked so hard, so dilligently for so many years. I know, it seems horrible now, but I just knew all he had been through, and I knew that with the prognosis I would have had to have given him, his education would now be worthless.

He's a helpless man, Lord Ragan II, he doesn't know what he's doing. Please, return him to Plotadonia for our care at the Royal Sanatorium. Or if not, please, let me take care of him in your own country somewhere, anywhere. I will follow him to the ends of the earth, he was my responsibillity and I failed. I know it is tempting to do wrong by someone who wished to harm you so, but it's not his fault.

Regardless of your decision sir, I am resigning my position as Psychiatric Health Examiner for the academy. If you spare him, I shall make him my sole patient, and care for him for the rest of his life. If you choose to hang him, I will respect your decision and remove myself from the Psychiatric profession forever.

His life is in your hands. I know what he did was horrible, but show mercy, for his punishment, losing his very reality, has already come.

P.S. I do not believe this was a terrorist group. He is a very intelligent young man, and could easilly have managed the most complicated schemes imaginable for the sake of his dimentia. Just because he is disconnected from reality does not mean the inner cogs are not working.

1. You must be armed with a weapon at all times.
2. He is to have two Royal Gaurds with him at all times.

Dr. Pysav,
I would suggest that you are taking this incident too hard, with all due respect to Lord Ragan. Even the most brilliant psychiatric examiners have to make at least one mistake; this was yours. You are unduly abusing yourself for the unforseeable actions of an unstable factor. Your pity for him is entirely understandable.

Dyelli Beybi wishes to let it be known that this gross violation of International laws of diplomatic immunity has not gone unnoticed. The Nation of Talentay does not in any way shape or form have the authority to detain a foreign Ambassador for whatever reason. Dyelli Beybi shall watch the nation of Talentay closely for further outrages.
