Today! The winds of change blow fiercely through this land!
The crowd consisting of mostly peasants dressed in rags, assembled before the ruins of the once shinning marble of the Parliament building, cheered wildly.
No longer do we abide by the will of a mortal man!
Citizens waved proudly the banner carrying the symbol of their new nation. ()
We will suffer no man! Only the Gods which we were created to suffer!
The crowd chanted out the names of the gods they personally followed.
Bring forth, he who would enslave our minds with worthless words on parchment!
The crowd cheered violently as two guards dressed in all black body armor and equipment with MP5's and masked by black ski-masks dragged a man who looked to be in his 50's in a tattered suit by his knees.
He was chained to a mess of wire and steel built to resemble the 8-sided star that waved proudly on their flag. The man who spoke at the podium, a man no older than the prisoner turned around to face him, a jagged and wicked dagger drawn from its scabbard at his side.
Today, we do not act on behalf of an order approved by aging politicians but by our own free will! Witness it and behold true freedom in all it's glory!
The valiant speaker, a man completely bald had the ever familiar symbol of the 8-sided star etched into the top of his shaven in the form of a scar. His eyes were dark and foreboding. Unnerving to stare into. His expression, ever neutral and solemn. He was average in height. About 5 ft. 9 in. in height. He too wore the dark body armor and under armor worn by the numerous guards that surrounded the outside entrance of the parliament building.
He approached the panting prisoner and lifted his hung head up to face him. The extent of his abuse clear on his face. He leaned forward and muttered into the prisoner's ear:
Power to the Dark Imperium. Forever shall we live. Blessed to control the chaos that our foes cower before.
And with that he drove the dagger into the prisoner's heart. His body lurched forward as a reaction to the dagger's entrance. Unsatisfied, the bald man drove it again. And again. Blood spattered his hand and leaked down his forearm, disappearing into his sleeve. Finally, when he had stabbed the long dead prisoner enough he stepped back, turned to face the silent crowd assembled, and thrust the blood covered dagger that was clutched tightly in his blood splattered hand high into the air.
The crowd was ecstatics in delight. Hats were thrown into the air, citizens danced merrily, and chants of praise filled the air.

New Regime in Darthalia
Earlier today an uprising in the poor, poverty stricken nation of Darthalia that has been going on for the past 2 years has finally come to an end. President Jochi Stuarfis, debated leader of the nation for 5 years, was captured by one of the many regimes vying for power in the nation. This regime, known as the Black Imperium, has been the main opposition towards President Stuarfis's party since it's evolution from a basement cult into a fully armed military power that rivaled the country's offical army in power and in number. Today, the President was publicly executed at the front of the burnt down Parliament building, officially ending his party's control of the country and bringing in the era of Black Imperium.
The people of Darthalia, seem to fully support the rise to power of this new regime and have been completely accepting in the Black Imperium's questionable religion. Our investigators report that the Black Imperium practices some sort of pagan religion which has a pantheon of strange gods that encourage extremely disturbing rituals to be performed in their name's.
With the new year still fresh and the winds of change still sweeping over Darthalia all eyes are on the emergence of this new nation. Expectations are high and neighbor's of Darthalia remain ever vigilant of the moves taken by the Black Imperium. Will the Black Imperium rebuild their broken homeland and restore it to glory? Or further drive it into destruction? Only time will tell.
