Divided Union is a forum-based nation simulation, which takes place during 2008, in the (former) United States. In the game, the United States have recently broken up into 51 individual states, all former 50 plus the District of Columbia. This game is completely focused on the 51 states; no other nations may be played, and will only be brought into the game in special circumstances.
Much of the playing is decided by the players, including losses in wars. However, it's highly admin-moderated to ensure there's no godmodding. On the subject of the military, the states' military forces consist of the troops, bases, and equipment (weapons, ships, etc) in the states' National Guard and State Guard forces, and all bases and equipment of the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, or Marines located in that state.
Currently everyone is only allowed to choose one state, although it may be changed to allow two for each person. Please sign up, we need more people. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in this thread, PM me on here, or PM me (Ohio) on the game.
