Alright Alversia, give me the low down.
North Calaveras
01-01-2008, 22:54
bump-

tell me in here Alverisa, this is going to be good.
Alversia
02-01-2008, 01:26
Tell you what?
North Calaveras
02-01-2008, 01:32
well the plan for the HOME destruction.
Alversia
02-01-2008, 01:43
Did I not TG it to you? I thought I had?
North Calaveras
02-01-2008, 01:49
yes i agree with it.
Alversia
02-01-2008, 01:55
I was wondering if your Observers would be able to join the battle towards the end? I'm planning on turning this onto one hell of a fight. All are invited of course but they would have to accept that the SASM possess superior firepower no matter what the numbers are for the sake of the RP.
North Calaveras
02-01-2008, 01:57
Oh they will, wait, are you saying the Observer Plasma ping wont have an effect?, okay i agree, but its basically saying that i get raped? Is there some twist that will benefit me?
Alversia
02-01-2008, 01:59
The ping will damage them, as will Alversian phasers but their weapons will be able to inflict far more damage than any of ours, them being such an ancient technologically advanced race. And yes there will be a twist that will save the Calaverans and space in general :D

I find one of your fleets being devastated is a breath of fresh air
North Calaveras
02-01-2008, 02:03

Shit i have like a fleet an a half, so what do i gain, besids dead calaverians, some kind of revenge, or secret ancient technology.
Alversia
02-01-2008, 02:04
Well, revenge in the long run, more peaceful co-operation with your former enemies perhaps?
North Calaveras
02-01-2008, 02:11
Calaverians escape and go missing, including Kash(they will be back, but they will be thought as wiped out), The infected drops out of hyperspace and engage for a short time, (you remeber the all powerful VOICE lol), when the Voices get near the imitators they will take over there minds(the imitators are just a ancient version of the infected, they both came from the same planet, so they would just be taken in by the infecte) XD
Alversia
02-01-2008, 02:14
Translated that means?

Big fuck off battle with thousands of Infected, Alversians, Xiscapians, SASM and Calaverans?

Sounds interesting although I would want the numbers of crew infected to be minimal at worst. The SASM are one of the most destructive forces in the galaxy, few can match them one on one
North Calaveras
02-01-2008, 02:15
of course, so its done?
Alversia
02-01-2008, 02:15
BTW what a Pathfinder looks like

Alversia

It think it would wrap everything up nicely although would the effects be of the Imitators rejoining the 'Collective' so to speak lol
North Calaveras

yes, they would be probably used as spys and gurrila units, as well as ambassadors, generals, the smart ones.
Alversia

yes, they would be probably used as spys and gurrila units, as well as ambassadors, generals, the smart ones.

Hold on, I don't want any of my own people at this battle to fall victim to these Imitators. I assume they would not be dangerous to surrounding Organics?
North Calaveras

Hold on, I don't want any of my own people at this battle to fall victim to these Imitators. I assume they would not be dangerous to surrounding Organics?

Oh there dangerous lol, but you wont, because the imitators wont be re-joined with the infected at the battle, it will be after.
Alversia
02-01-2008, 02:30
I see, we just need Xiscapia to return then we can get cracking, he has as much presence at thar base as I do. In fact, our original fleets are still there (well, mine is anyway)

Fancy a massacre? Both civilian and military :D
North Calaveras
02-01-2008, 02:33
why yes i do XD, wow, i was watching a stargate vid and it has this irish song on it, i have heard it before, its good.

anyways Do you want the station to explode like the death, or just torn apart, then it could be like an icon as it floats as a large debry around the nearby world.

I was thinking more being torn apart. The SASM are going to board the ship to destroy the Calaveran people face-to-face

What is the video?

North Calaveras

sounds good XD, idk if the Alversians or Xscipians are gonna feel bad for failing the Calaverians.
Alversia
02-01-2008, 03:26
Maybe relations will improve through the heroic sacrafice of the Alversians and the Xiscapians or are the Calaverans too thick headed? lol
North Calaveras
02-01-2008, 03:28
remember the Calaverians will leave the galaxy and thought to be destroyed, they will be put on the side line like the infected were.
Alversia
02-01-2008, 03:30
Jesus, not another new race?
North Calaveras
02-01-2008, 03:31

no, just like switching races, Calaveras, then they will be thought to be destroyed leave the galaxy, the infected come back, no new races, just brining back old.
Alversia
02-01-2008, 03:33
Aha, I see
So, the Xenophobic Humans are virtually destroyed and the strange Bio Borg return?

Would I be able to say the Calaverans formed a strong bond with the Alversians and moved to the planet to become a part of the community?

Are you guys sure that's not one of the signs of Armaggedon?
Anyway, I'll be there, at least until my little guard fleet gets the crap beat out of it. I'd like to remind NC that, while the Xiscapians were allied with the Infected during the Korr war, the Xiscapians destroyed them afterwards, along with an entire planet.

Yes indeed. The Infected have haunted soldier's nightmare's ever since they were destroyed. What a shock it will be to have them back again...

Hard to tell. The SASM have the strength of ships and a lot of kick ass, godmod like (hint hint) technology. On the other hand, the Isans have numbers, cunning, and the ability to find awesome DeviantArt pictures.

Besides, I was a little disapointed. I had some very special deaths in mind for some of the crew...the scientists in particular.

Well, during the NC war, we kicked Observer butt. Now we're getting our butts kicked. Also, the Calaverans were average humans with guns. The SASM are biological robot/cyborg/anderoid things with lasers that can match enemy shields and destroy armor. The Observers and GOU don't even come close.

SASM, definitly.
The Infected rely on gaining troops by giving them the virus. They have to get close in. The SASM, firstly, are robots. No way to infect. Scondly, SASM ships and tehcnology is lightyears ahead of anything the Infected possess. Thirdly, all the SASM would have to do is seek out and destroy the HIVE MINDS, rendering Infected troops and ships incapacitated. The Infected would have to go for the Server itself if they could hope to win, and that's highly unlikely.

OOC: Another TG

True, it is virtually impossible to destroy the Server, it's like a massive network that controls all Pathfinder ships and interlinks them, it's everywhere but it is nowhere.

I thought there was a specific system the Infected have to go though to infect something. The whole "jam the parasite down your throat" thing. I'd imagine doing that to a Bioroid would be hard, considering the throat doesen't lead to the brain.

Well in the sky kings, the Virus's would tear open a control panel or whatever was hooked up to the main control, they would open they tentacles and wrap there nervs around in giving them control after a while, but i guess this wont work anymore.

Against the SASM, the Infected would have an even worse time than the Alvo-Xis forces. Their primary method of winning a fight it taking over the opponet, which, as has been made clear, is impossible to do against a Biodroid. The Infected would probably never actually be able to win a battle, because they're ships are inferior and their troops primary mode to victory is not compatable with SASM Biodroids.

My Emperor and Isa's met just a little while before the SASM began to destroy colonies. There were some harsh words and the Isans had to go off and fight a war which, originally, would last for thousands of years. It was shortened, magically, when Wolf appeared at the Imperial Palace and read something from the Book of Time.
BTW Isa, Sky Kings was the first thread I ever RPed in and the first thread the Infected were involved in. There was the first time the galaxy ever saw the Infected, but I believe, aside from the Xiscapians, all races present at the Sky Kings incident have since either been destroyed or vanished. The thread involved and irrisistable alien attack on the colonial holdings of the Sky Kings, and ended in the alien defeat, from which the Xiscapians salvaged an alien battlecruiser, which was listed as such in my 6th Salvage fleet and deployed agains the SASM in the battle for Wuin.

So if you run out of troops, you run out of ships. The viruses are your boarding craft and drop ships, the Breeders are your Capitals, attack ships, and your Hive Minds are your Command ships. The Viruses have no weapons, but are fast. The Breeders are slower, but with a lot of troop carrying capacity (5,000, I believe) and thirty plasma cannons, fifteen to a side.

Aww, that's sad.
I share your pain in that last part, neither do I, I have to settle for split screen and single player.
Anyway:
Battlefront 1 and 2: Very good games, some improvments from 1 to 2, but 1 had things I liked, like orbital strikes and ground ships.
Wreckless: The yakuza missions: *Shudder* Horrible game. Don't even ask.
Call of Duty 4: Good game, I prefer MoH (Medal of Honor). CoD4 was better than one and two, and about the same as three.
Story: Kill Germans, win battles, get awarded medals.
Medal Of Honor Frontline, Rising Sun, and European Assault: Frontline was the first for consoles, a good game in it's time. Rising Sun wasn't as good. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. European Assault was fantastic, as good as CoD4.
Story: Kill Germans, halt the Nazi war machine, or, kill Japanese, halt the Japanese war machine.
Jak 2 and 3: Three was a vast improvement over two, more exciting and fast-paced. Two was alright, three was better. (Daxter is *lol*!)
Story: (1): City is under evil dictator rule. Find him, kill him, free city. (2): City casts you out for some reason. Make a living in the desert city, kill people, save city again.
Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction: Most. Fun. Game. I. Ever. Played. Overpowered weapons, strong vehicles, do-whatever-you-want sandbox world, destroy almost anything (trees are invincible lol), destroy waves of NK with pretty much all the modern weapons under the sun, including air strikes, artillery strikes, rocket lauchers, tanks, super machine guns and the good old beat-the-crap-out-of-them-with-out-gun. :mp5:
Story: North Korea goes to war against South Korea. Insane former NK leader has nukes. Do whatever the hell you want while persuing him for a 100,000,000,000 USD bounty.
Goldeneye: Rouge Agent: Fun shooter, not fantastic. Got bad reviews. James Bond game, but you don't play as Bond, or ever meet him, except briefly in the beginning. Interesting weapons, good ragdoll.
Story: Turned down by MI6 for a job, you take it up with Goldfinger. Steal for him. Kill for him. Blow stuff up for him.
Oni: Like Goldeneye, Oni was really ignored. It was a PS2 lauch title, which makes it old. Really bad, boxy graphics. Riggid environment. But it's still a fun game, with some cool weapons and a mix of shooting and hand-t-hand combat, one of the first of such combinations ever attempted. "Oni" means "demon" in Japanese by the way. ;)
Evil criminal organization called "The Syndicate" steals stuff and kills people. It's up to you, a chick with purple hair, to stop them.
Freedom Fighters: Squad based combat, you can control up to eight men at once. Regular weapons, not the greatest graphics or sound quality, but a overall fun game.
Story: Soviet Union did not fall after WWII, took over the entire world except the US. US is invaded, occupied. Help the Rebels take back their country.
Enter the Matrix: Like Oni, but better graphics. Still got bad reviews because it didn't have Neo in it. :p Pretty realistic hand-to-hand, and it's enjoyable gunning down security guards and SWAT teams.
Story: It's the Matrix...
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 and Most Wanted: NFSHP2 was fun, good for it's day. Most Wanted beats it by a mile, and sends you on a lot of long, destruction-filled rampages, where you use your car as a battering ram to run though roadblocks, outrun pursuing cops, and smash civilian and police cars alike into trees, poles, other cars, barriers, each other, spike strips...
Story: Win races, avoid cops.
Burnout Three and Revenge: Very, very unrealistic, but loads of fun. Car damage effects are really good, the glass shatters and tires come off and the car's body get's bent out of shape.
Story: Win races, try not to die.
Flatout 2: Like Burnout, except even better crash effects, a more destructive environment, probably better graphics, and if you hit something hard enough, you can lauch your driver out the windshield! Really fun minigames, like bowling, darts, high jump, soccer, football and lauch-your-guy-though-hoops-of-fire.
Story: Win races, try not to die too often and kill your opponets a lot.
:D All that and it only took me...*checks watch* twenty minutes. :headbang:

:headbang:

I have Mercenaries and Burnout, the first lets you destroy tanks with a South Korean HUMVEE :D, the Second lets you destroy cars with cars. I also had Enter the Matrix, it was alright but I would have preferred Neo and more Agents.

Yeah, Mercenaries pwns all. Burnout is fun too, nothing like ramming your opponet into a wall and watching his car implode and catch on fire!
Did you know that if you have a shotgun, you can kill an Agent with it if you use it at close range?

Mercs was class, do you know how to get the Allied Supertank from the last mission? It wipes the floor with everything else.

And I didn't know that about Agents, there was me wasting countless MG ammo on them as well

In Mercs there is only one way, aside from the last mission, to get your hands on one: During one of the Russian Mob missions (towards the end of the game), a bonus part of your mission saying a Allied tank broke down or something. The Mob wants it, so you go and bring it to them. You can get it and not bring it to them, but if you wheel around on that for too long without completing the mission the Allies will get pissed off that you stole their tank and come after you. The thing is simple: Get the tank, don't give it to the Mob, complete the mission with the tank. Then you have it until you shut the game off or load a different file or die. There's one awesome, one-of-a-kind Mafia helicopter on one of the missions that shoot exploding bullets and has all kind of missiles (anti-personnal, anti-air, anti-tank), but, sadly, you can only get in once. :(
And for EtM, I think there's an Agent killing gun or something, but the shotgun is easier.
Which brings a saying to mind: Violence is not the answer, shotgun is faster.
Also: Violence is not the answer. It is the question, and the answer is yes. :D

Yeah, the cheat weapons pack in the best:
Pocket Artillery: Something not is sight that you want to blow up? Use the fast firing, very destructive pocket artillery!
Street Sweeper: Most powerful machine gun in the game, it can blow up a North Korean jeep in just a few shots.
Portable Air Strike: Need I say more?

Yeah, it sucks that in the end of MoH: RS your brother dies!
The board is pretty cool, but I'd rather have one of those hoverbikes...
Mercenaries, as we already said, rules...
Freedom Fighters is fun, you can probably just order it off of Ebay or something.
Some of the phases your soldiers shout:
Let's SHOW the Reds!
Let's Move!
Go, go, go!
Alright man, I'm with you.
Eat lead!"
Soviet Phases:
Say hello to my little friend!
Arrgh...almost had him!
AHHHHHHHHH! (Warcry XD)
