Failed seccesion of Bolada
After we seceded Bolada years ago, there were numerous rebellions, determined to destroy the democratically elected Government put in charge to rule the country. Since we have had to aid the former colony three times in their struggle against the rebels, we have decided to re-take jurisdiction over the area and re-absorb it under HRH Prince Llewellyn III of Blaenau. This is the only way we can truly quell the rebels once and for all and re-stabilise the territory.
We hope that the violence within Bolada does not spill over into other parts of the region, but at this point can give no guarantees.

We congratulate the Blaenau on deciding to retake their former colony.
We also wish to know wheather Blaenau will send its native citizens to Bolada as settlers.

Bolada is already well colonized with our citizens as a result of our initial occupation. However, we will be sending a number of our people over to help stability, as well as increasing the size of our occupying forces in preparation for a heavy and sustained assault on the militias key assets and strongholds. We hope to have over 20,000 personnel from both the Prince's Army and His Majesty's Air Force based in Bolada by late January.

We are glad to hear of another nation practicing settler colonialism.
Although, in our current situation, we cannot provide financial or military aid. However, we would be glad to form an alliance with Blaenau, and send some consultants to aid in the pacification of your rebellious colony.
We would certainly be interested in forging links with Kirav, especially in terms of trade. We would also be grateful for the offered advice concerning Bolada.
Thanks.

OFFICIAL UPDATE:
Rebels launched a surprise attack on the capital of Bolada two days ago. However, thanks to the quick movement of troops from the Principality to Bolada and the good defenses already put in place by existing forces in the region, the Prince's Army and friendly contingents were able to hold the city and drive back the attackers.
Friendly Forces:
1st Battalion Guent Borderers
3rd Battalion Prince's Royal Guard
Various United Boladian Peoples Army units
Hostile Forces:
"General" Buyans Troops
Various unknown tribal forces

Official Statement of the Free Republic of Kahanistan
The Government of Kahanistan is most concerned by this response to rebels attacking a democratic government. It seems to us that the Blaenauian response to a rebel attack against democratic government is to impose a monarchy - one the people have said before they do not want - rather than to assist this newly sovereign nation in its resistance to rebel depredations.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but if the rebels are angry at a democratic system, they will be absolutely furious with being re-subjected to a monarchy the people at large do not want.

Dragomir Karovic,

You misunderstand our system of Government, and our intentions with Bolada.
Firstly, we ARE a democratic nation, with a constitutional monarchy, which is largely ceremonial in these times. We have a fairly elected Government, elections are held every 6 years, and there are 4 political parties, although in recent times only the left and right-wing ones have had any chance of power.
Secondly, we are merely aiding our former colony in ridding itself of these rebels. We do not plan to permanently stay and keep it as a colony. We will only stay there as long as it takes. The Boladian Government suspended itself, on our advice. Its last decision was to request our help in the struggle. We are fighting there perfectly legitimately, and will stay until the job is done. (OOC You could compare our position to that of the UK's time in Sierra Leone during the rebellion)
I hope our position is now clearer to you and you will grant us your support for us in this conflict.
Thank you,
Prince Wyff of Guent
Foreign Minister
