A map of the lands and waters around Logan and Ky sprawled across an indoor wall of the Commonwealth Centre, in Kartika, Kirav, the nerve centre for the organization of states that was the Kiravian Commonwealth.

However, this map was unlike most. A section of what would normally be Logan and Ky was seperated by a solid border, and labelled Rising Tide.

A man stood in front of the map, Tethys Farwest, the Chairman of the Commonwealth. And for him, this map was correct. The Empire and the Commonwealth recognised the Rising Tide as a sovereign state. Why? The subarctic seperatist movement appealed to the Empire. It was libertarian, protective of its environment, and devoted to carving a new civlisation out of the old, opressive government.

The problem was that, aside from the Empire and the Commonwealth States, no one recognised the Rising Tide as anything other than a group of anarchists to be crushed. But now, with Logan and Ky under Kroandoan attack, the opputunity was ripe to secure the nation's indepednence.

At Kirav's western port, a Kiravian envoy boarded a ship bound for the struggling Libertarian State, to discuss relations with the Rising Tide's spokesperson.

Once freedom was secured, the Empire would begin developing infrastructure and other neccessities for the new nation.

The tides had begun to rise, and soon, the beach that was Logan and Ky would be overcome by the waves.

1. Most of the Western Coast is a warzone as Kroando is starting his invasion
2. Winter is just starting in Logan and Ky (im rping it as october), and the Rising Tide ports are probably already frozen over

Here is a link to a map of my nation. Green is my country, red is major cities, black are foreign countries, and the yellow is The Rising Tides current occupied area. Theyve abandoned the far eastern areas and Lennonton, my forces spread them too thin. Now they have a number of towns or "collectives" as they call them set up on the infertile arctic tundra. They'll likely soon die of starvation, as most of their sustinence is based on roots, pre packaged food (which is running out), and fish. The ice is now becoming too thick for them to catch fish, and they will soon have to resort to killing large mammals such as polar bears and seals. This is also a problem because a good percentage of them are hardcore vegetarians. Quite a few of them have starved already. They basically need help in setting up some sort of agriculture with greenhouses, fish farms, etc.

As Chancellor Hirsch read his computer screen, his eyes widened as he came to the article about Rising Tide and its seemingly imminent defeat; not due to politics and warfare, but to the seasons.

He hastily picked up his phone and called Secretary of State, Walter Thanopolous along with Defense Secretary, General Sowalskie. Their 3-hour conversation drew the conclusion that the nation of Shesharlie wished to help those in Rising Tide from starvation.

--3 Hours Later (After the phone conference)--

As The Chancellor wrote up a proposal to Congress, General Sowalskie called over the Sheshan military network to check the availability of possible ways to send relief to Rising Tide. The General was informed that there was an LC-130 airlift wing (the 10th Airlift Wing) based in Port Rantsa- a city located in the Sawney Islands. The LC-130's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LC-130_Hercules) were capable of flying to snowy and icy environments because of the skis fitted to the wheels. Mr. Thanopolous was also busy as he was writing a communique to the Rising Tide in order to receive clearance to send what would be dubbed as 'Disaster Relief Supplies.'

OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUE FROM THE CONFEDERATE SYNDICATE OF SHESHARLIE

TO: Rising Tide

We hold strong sympathetic feelings to you and your struggle. Shesharlie's [unrecorded ancient] past is full of nations breaking off and struggling to be free so it is naturally in our blood to help a nation become sovereign and enjoy the freedom of self-governance.

We have begun to prepare our 10th Airlift Wing of 8 LC-130s to send Disaster Relief Supplies which will include survival gear, water, foodstuffs, tools, and equipment to help you through the winter season. Upon your clearance, and designation of a landing space for our LC-130s, we will begin sending aid to you.

As of now, we have scheduled 3 aircraft to fly and provide immediate assistance within 2 days of their departure, with 2 aircraft arriving the next day. One aircraft will arrive each day for 5 days afterward, and one aircraft will arrive every other day thereafter. After two months, we will reevaluate the relief status and consider revising the schedule to accommodate the demand for relief.

If you wish to accept our aid, please contact us ASAP.

Orders have been made to send the 10th Airlift Wing into their mission. According to our estimates, it should be 2 days until the first of the 10th Airlift arrive with the Disaster Relief Supplies.

We will also be sending out a Sheshan Relief Director aboard the second wave of LC-130s (ETA: 3 days). The director's name is Martin O'Keefe.

You can land your supplies and your diplomat at the airstrip that is being constructed just outside of the Main Collective (The Rising Tides largest city). There will be a representative from the community and a number of armed guards waiting for your arrival. We reccommend Kevlar vests, as the area still isnt entirely safe from Kyan and internal attacks. We're sure the Kyans wouldnt attack if they knew of your arrival, however...
