Convoys of Hell [Closed/MT]
OOC: This is the RP Thread to all those who signed up for Private Security Contractors wanted. You can introduce your characters ICly or OOCly is up to you, no need to be too elaborate, make it simple, yet informative.

The Winters of Prochnya, always dreaded, cold, wet and very muddy. The many Dirt roads were instantly turned into rivers or mud. Landslides is always a common experience. In Glensbil however, the Capital of the province, fighting resumes in the same, bloody way. A car bomb blew up at the Airport, killing 4 civilians and a convoy was ambushed by rebels in highway N17, thankfully no one was hurt. As Kansiovian troops are flying back to Prochnya from their Christmas holidays, Local Security forces struggle to gain control with the lack of manpower. However, this time they will, they are not additional Kansiovian troops, but Civilian Warriors, or rather Private security Contractors...

The first transport aircraft carrying troops from Wolfbite Inc. touched down at the airport, and soon men and women began ferrying all manner of equipment off of them, from bottle openers to Ural trucks.
In the middle of all this organised chaos strode Colonel Fenstermacher strode , supplying guidance.
"That goes on truck 3...no put that down...for the Wolf's sake, be careful with that! It costs more than your yearly pay...what? No, not yet...See? I told you to be careful with that. Report to your Pack leader for discipline, and tell her I'm most displeased with your conduct...yes, yes, yes, very soon...45? Well, at least we won't run out." The Colonel sighed, truly this was a botch job. His bosses has cobbled together a motely crew in a hurry so as not to miss out on the contract, far more lucrative than the one they had previously being operating under in Wolven West Africa. Rubbing his chin, he realised he had forgotten to shave and that made him sad. How my standards have fallen since the days of the Black Standard he pondered, his eyes briefly lighting up as he remembered his days as an officer in the Pact of Iron. British Londinium, the Atopian Coup, Die Boerstaat...ah those were days. Days of blood and iron. He had been an impeccable soldier in those days, but with the de-Nazification of Skgorria only a few SS officers had been alllowed to remain in the military. He had been cast out of the life he had known for the past thirty years, but the SS tried to look after its own and a large group of soldiers had pooled their resources to found Wolfbite Inc.. Whilst not anywhere near the strength and efficency of the Waffen-SS, at least it provided work and food for some of the innumerable ex-SS soldiers, Fenstermacher included.

"Bloody Nazis," one of the Kansiovian Soldiers guarding the Airport muttered, "what the hell are they doing here?"
"Probably to kill those pesky Prochnyans for us, ain't what these guys do best?" said the other.
The Airport, already recently bombed earlier that morning was in a complete mess, there were no commuters, only Military Personnel on patrol. Electricity had been cut off due to the fighting so The airport windows were open, the common warm receptions at the airport counters were replaced by Prochnyan Policemen blasting through the Microphone, "May the officer in charge please report to room A16 on your left. I repeat, may the officer in charge please A16 on your left..."
There was a throbbing followed by silence as the airship, an old converted Tradewind-class air patrol ship, came over a convoy route. Aboard, the crew of five men shivered in the cold.
"Couldn't you even get the heating fixed?"
"I didn't have that much repair money: I had to spend it all on getting the gasbag repaired after SOMEONE forgot to switch the countermeasures on."
"Alright, Alright."
The pilot of the patrol ship was a class D operative, equivalent in military terms to an army Lieutenant. He was in charge of the airship, and had a very hard job controlling all the systems nearly simultaneously. How he wished he'd been on one of the nicer ships the security company had, or even got a job in the High Flier company, piloting luxury airyauchts for rich men.
Still, at least he got weapons on this one. Not excellent weapons, but enough for his liking. While his co-pilot adjusted the gas distribution and the small sail flaps, he was looking carefully at IF feed form the camera cluster. He was watching with intent the road around, with an onboard computer system registering threats. Currently, there appeared to be none.
"Calm down guys. It looks quiet today. Il'nia, get us all some cocoa please."
He was talking to the attractive women sitting in one of the mouldy chairs, their shipborne gunner. She was the only defence the airship had against fighters, since the countermeasure system decided to forget its programming. She was sitting next to the engineer, who was frantically typing code into the computer system onboard. The electronic system was dead, yet it seemed there was a chance with the flare and decoy launchers. If they really had to.

Aboard the SPrG - E08, another aging Prevanian airship, the head of Team 1, 2 and 3 was briefing his 360 personnel. They were inside the cold cargo bay of a massive Erika airship, over 1000m in length. An absolute beauty, she had been lovingly restored from scrap found in a Prevograd airshipyard, and now flew in most of her full glory.
The cargo hold, a full 400 metres long and 80 metres wide, held 30 armoured trucks and 24 Basalt IFVs, with the guns of course replaced with watercannons.
"You will all recall that this is going to be one hell of a fight."
"YES CAPTAIN!!"
"Your enemy will be all around you. They will be the people you are trying to protect. You must find out them, and destroy them."
"YES CAPTAIN!!"
"You must find all bombs and other malkicious devices, and grind them into dust with the hells of your boots!"
"YES CAPTAIN!!"
"Finally, we are going to tell these terrorists to get outta Nova."
"YES CAPTAIN!!"
These forces were the main operational forces, with teams 4 and 5 coming behind them on ships as their tactical reserve.

Colonel Fenstermacher noted the hostile gazes of many of the Kansovians. It doesn't matter that we're not National Socialists any more, he cursed, our past stains us wherever we go. Banishing such thoughts from his mind, he listened to the PA system and found room A16 quickly. Pushing the door open, he removed his cap and came to attention.
"Colonel Albrecht Fenstermacher of Wolfbite Inc., reporting as ordered," he barked in a military manner as he drew himself up to a posture of attention even his old Academy NCO would have been proud of.
"Prochnya Air Control to SPrG-E08, the airport is rather packed for an Airship. There is a park with a pretty big and nice field, its around your 10 o'clock around 4km away from your current position, it should be safe, we would send a pickup once you land. Be weary though, its outside of the 'Safe' zone.
"Bloody hell, why Airships?" he said to his colleague to his right...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the Airport
A man in Military Uniform, filled with badges glittering his right side of his uniform, stood up. I am General Ivan Popski. I would suggest you take a seat, its a long day. We have already several Convoy missions for you guys an its important. Of course we do not need all your guy's help, we have a VIP to be transported from here to the Ministry of finance about 7km from here. Those who will be out of this mission, tell them to get to their transports I have Jeeps waiting to guide them to your HQ Compound. I wish you all the best, we have provided maps for you, what ever you do, he must be transported safely, he is the CEO of Kansiovian Nuclear Energy Co. and there is a big price of his head, we know it and the Rebels know it...

"Understood General," nodded the Colonel as he took out a pencil and paper and began to make notes. "I have a couple of questions sir. 1 - how many men and vehicles do you want on this escort job? 2 - if it's a VIP job am I clear to use my BTRs rather than Ural trucks and finally 3 - what can you tell me about the route?"
"We have the location now thankyou. We thankyou for your advice, over."
The airship descended to land. Well, not really land, but float about 50 cm above the ground, most of the lifting gas now located in massive storage cylinders. The front sector of the cargo bay opened, and the group rolled out onto the ground. Around the external gantries, men stood on lookout, an assortion of ZAP weaponry, machineguns and heavy artillery recongnisable. As quickly as possible, the airship took off again, and the massive turboprops roared into life moving the airship back towards Alfegos.
The three teams took defensive positions in the area, while waiting for their reception party.

The rebel lowered his bionocualrs. "Take a look." He handed the binoculars to the leader of the group. "Yes," The group leader said. " Zalfur was right, they have brought in private security." He handed the binoculars back. " We must inform the others." He stood and turned to face his group. "Do not be afraid, they will learn the fear that the military has learned, they will crumble and flee, leaving an opening for victory." He took a sip from a canteen. "But for now, we must alert the others, we do not have enough to try to claim victory."
"That is up to you, but 4 would be great. The 7km route is quickest via Airport to the City Center then Ministry of Finance about 2km away, however it is the most dangerous, IEDs are almost certainly planted on that road, however there is an alternative, a 17km route through the west ends of the City this area, the people are more friendly and do not pose a serious thread, however it is very confusing the navigate and the chances getting lost and ending up on bad turf is almost certain. Note he arrives with a Black BMW up armored to be able to hold up against small arms fire."
EDIT: Note typo Up armored

Civilians watched as the airship landed, there was an almost immediate party waiting for their arrival. A black Sedan painted "Prochnya Police Dep." on the sides came forward. A man came out, dressed out in uniform. He parked his Sedan very close to the Airship, "Need any help there?" he asked.
"That was the one problem."
The captain of the three teams yelled over the noise of the airship's engines.
"Do you know where we are staying? Or should I call back the airship and we stay inside the cargo hold for our period here? Also, we need to discuss our payment."
____________________________________________
The patrol airship continued to scan the convoy routes: it had now switched to another. Apparently, a VIP was travelling along it soon. A scan of the route earlier had detected no major threats, and all the possible minor threats had been radioed to the police.
Still, could never be too careful. The autocannon and the internal rack of 24 ASMs were always kept ready.
"Where's our cocoa?"
"The boiler's broken. Again. Cold cocoa?"
"Can't we use the microwave?"
"That's not working either."
"I really wish they gave me a decent repair budget. Look how much they spent on that Erika-class one they resurrected from scrap, and then look at how much we get."
"We are only a patrol airship. A kilometre of cargo airship is surely worth something more than a 110m patroller?"
"Yes, yes. Cold drinks?"
"The fridge broke down."
"Lukewarm drinks?"
"We've got cola, lemonade, water, odd tasting water and Cobra."
"I'll have cola. You lot?"
Everyone nodded.
"Good."
There was a hiss as the bottles were opened slowly, to prevent their contents from exploding out in the lower pressure atmosphere.
"There we go: lukewarm coke for everyone."
The engines began to cough into life, before they began to roar as hydrogen rushed through them. The boiler began to hiss.
"Typical: the boiler works when the engines are being cooled, but not when we want a brew."

Fenstermacher finished taking notes and then replaced the notebook in his pocket. He pulled out a rather worn-looking radio and thumbed it on.
"Frank? Frank? You there?"
"Yeah boss?" The radio cackled, showing its age.
"Get four of our Biters ready to go, have each squad with a PK and an RPG launcher."
"Understood Colonel, anything else?"
"No that's all, Fenstermacher out," and with that he turned the radio off.
"Sir," the Colonel added, "I'll take my troops on the back road. I'll take the risk of getting lost over the certainty of IEDs any day. Oh, one more thing, any chance of getting the VIP into one of our APCs?"

The 1,000 GuardCorp soldiers arrived in a modified An-225 strategic lifter, parachuting down to where they could meet with a Kansiovian commander for their orders. Their leader, Hassan al-Walid, a former Republic Marine colonel, was sworn not to murder civilians or prisoners, and he knew he would have his hands full preventing friction with the Skgorrians. Many of his soldiers were Communists, Jews, Communist Jews, or some combination thereof. Many others were Slavs, Gypsies, or some other group that had suffered at the hands of National Socialists. Even those who were not, for the most part, did not like National Socialists.
The GuardCorp forces were mainly heavy infantry. Their vehicles, mainly BMP-2's, would arrive shortly, but in the meantime, they would have to use Kansiovian IFV's or simply ride with the convoys.

"Very diffcult, I doubt he will even think about getting into one."
Meanwhile, outside, the it was snowing, well, snowing men. The para drop shocked the General as well as the Airport Guards alike. Who the hell are they? Para dropping on the Airport. He quickly radioed Air traffic Control to halt any incoming Military Aircraft, just in case there were people who parachuted into the middle of the runway...

Huge C130Js featuring the Silent Death logo began unloading their men and cargo. Most of the thousand men were armed with personalised DR 87 ASACs. Each squad also had a specialized gunner that carried an MLM LMG. A handful of men carried scoped DRS 84s though guarding convoys usually didn't entail sniping work. The men were all dressed nearly identicalm in the black Silent Death BDUs and black SD baseball caps. They were all wearing standard Dragonskin X, the improved version of Dragonskin that was the standard body armour of most Aurum Doman military personnel. On top of their body armour were vests that had many pouches. The vehicles that were going to guard the convoys were VAE Multipurpose Armored Cars with extra armour plates. They would be perfect for the job at hand.
The Operation Commander and a small detachment of men searched through the landing zone until they found a Kansiovian commander.
"Commander, I'm Alan Jackson, what are our orders?"

"Bloody VIPS," swore Fenstermacher under his breath. "Never mind sir, Wolfbite Inc. gets the job done, we'll find a way." He saluted the General again and held it.
"Sir, with your permission, I'll get onto organising that convoy. I'm assuming the Jeeps waiting to take the rest of my men to the HQ are outside?"
(ooc: Mind if I give you a little help, Skgorria?)
The airship drifted in the wind over to the next convoy route. They radioed in their position to command, and got a summary of the route in return.
"Right, this next one's got a VIP coming down it, so we're gonna have fireworks. We have been asked to keep an eye out on the route, but only to intervene if it gives our company a bit of credability: don'twarn them about any bombs until the last minute and send off a pretty missile to make it look heroic."
"But I don't think that's very good, morally."
"Just think that if we do this right, I can get the bloody heating fixed."
An Antigran Military MXC Heavy Transport Aircraft bearing Yellow Star Security Contractors insignia slowed as it approached the airport, just a few dozen miles away. Two more followed, as well as two lighter transports.
The Captain leaned forward in his seat and pressed a button on an instrument panel. His radio mouthpiece buzzed into life and he spoke.
"Prochnya ATC*, Prochnya ATC, this is flight YSS-471 and the Yellow Star Flight, requesting permisson to land, over"
*Air Traffic Control, in case you didn't know
"Bloody VIPS," swore Fenstermacher under his breath. "Never mind sir, Wolfbite Inc. gets the job done, we'll find a way." He saluted the General again and held it.

"Very well then," and with a salute Fenstermacher was gone, marching back to the transports. He saw that four BTRs had been made ready and several men were lounging around, armed to the teeth and kitted out with helmets and body armour. By the plains of Kharkov...what a bloody mess he thought as he approached them.
"We ready to go then Frank?" He asked his 2iC, as the soldiers straightened up now that their CO and his second in command were here.
"Yeah boss," Frank confirmed in between drags on his cigarette. "Four squads of flithy, unwanted racists ready to go."
"Fantastic," grumled Fenstermacher as he pulled out his radio.
"This is Wolfibite Inc., our convoys are ready to go. One for the VIP, the other to our HQ."
"Ahmed, they are moving... Call Asmahan, we will track the convoy for them. Get ready the IEDs at the highway."
"Yes Sir!"
"Kansiovian Airforce is on patrol today, and there have been reports of Airships in the sky sir."
"Airships? What the fuck? Don't worry about the Airships, we will deal with the Airships, our main target is that VIP, we need his head!"
"Yes sir!"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The VIP got into the Car, it was bulletproof.
"Pretty hell of a convoy here, he muttered to his driver."
He rolled open the window, and shouted out, "we good to go?"
"Right then, the guys seem to be getting ready to go. Any luck so far?"
"We have 5 yellow alerts on the system for possible car bombs, and 2 orange alerts for roadside devices." The co-pilot spoke as he went to the strategic map mode on his LCD screen: one of the few modern things on this airship.
"Lets give them a bit of warning then. Comms controller?"
"Yes Captain?"
"Get me a line on the Skgorria mercs. He think we should let them know we have friends."
"Alright. He should be on your headset...now."
"Good morning my friends. A little birdy told me that you were escorting a VIP, and since we have no current assignments we were told to come and keep an eye on you. Do you have a computer system down there, since we need to send you a live feed on suspected dangers: we have a view of the entire route up here."

A series of Transport planes dropped from above the cloud cover and began to circle the airport. Aboard each plane were a detachment of Pax Securia Infantry. A private Security firm that had agreed to donate it's first Infantry Regiment to the enterprise. Coming with the Regiment were it's selection of HUMVEE armoured vehicles. Some of these were armed with 0.50cal Machine Guns and others were armed with TOW launchers. The standard weapons of the troops was the hard hitting and accurate FN FAL and each soldier had a Kevlar vest to protect them from small arms fire. The Soldiers were all well trained and battle-hardened Mercenaries.
The planes began to broadcast requests to the ATC and Ground Control, asking for permission to land at the airport.
"Runway Clear."
Said the Operator at the Air Traffic Control Tower.
"You are clear to land at Runway 3."
"Once again, another group of Security Contractors,"
said the General.
OOC: Progress is going really slow, I hope the people RPing the Rebels could be more active.

"Roger ATC, we are landing at Runway 3"
The first planes turned to descend onto the runway. Within the planes, the smoking, card playing Mercenaries starting to gather their luggage and weapons, some starting to clean the rifles before they landed at the airfield.
A 'welcome party' awaited them.
"Hi I am Major Rutiovski, may I know who is the Officer in charge?"
About a second later, a loud Explosion, Smoke bellowed above the Horizon. Thankfully, the bomb was placed miles away from the Airport, more of a reminder that the Private Security Contractors will not be having a easy time here in Prochnya.

The first of the Mercenaries exited the plane, some where carrying large packs of ammunition and supplies while others were helping to unload the trucks. A tall bulky man, with a blonde crewcut and a heavily scarred face stepped forward and gave a firm military salute. His khaki uniform seemed to be bulging with muscles and there was a vicious gleam in his eyes.
"Brigadier Dennis Smith, reporting for duty Sir!" He said in a rather robotic tone. Behind him was a taller, thinner, younger man with untidy black hair and a large grin on his face
"Lieutenant Commander Ian Lavender" The man gave a rather more sloppy
salute, although his experience was revealed when the bomb exploded. The men ignored it completely and continued with their work. Most of them had made their names in places like this. Taking escort missions or ambush missions. They knew what they were up against and they knew many of them would not survive. So why did they do it? For the money, obviously...
"I understand you need some Escort Infantry?" Lieutenant Lavender asked.
OOC: RP their arrival, make them go to the HQ. etc....
OOC: Okay, on one condition: I skip the ATC bit and just land. Otherwise it's just too slow.
IC: The flight's Captain flicked a few switches, talking to his co-pilot at the sane time.
"Gear down, ease the throttles, Jeff"
Thirty seconds later. The engines whined and the plane tilted back slightly as the rear wheels came into contact with the ground, then the front wheels. As the plane slowed and taxied away, another huge transport landed, and another, and two smaller ones.
"Yes, the General is busy. I am in charge of giving Orders for now.
There are Military Supplies that needs to be transported to Hecbeyl Nuclear Power Plant, around 60 miles from here." He pointed to the Supply Depots a few Hundred meters from where they are standing from. "The route is of course very dangerous, but easy and it is a 6 lane highway. From the Airport take the Left exit to highway N45, there will be signboards when you are reaching close. Here take this map with you. Its very unlikely you get lost though, its a very straight forward route. Watch out for IEDs and RPG Ambushes, they are very common along N45."

By the time the Antigirans landed, the Airport was very busy. Yes very busy indeed. Unloading Kansiovian troops, Supplies, Tanks and Military equipment were all taking place by the rather, international force.
Major Rutiovski, who just finished briefing to the Alversians, quickly rushed over.

The other Mercenaries were now ready. They had strapped up their equipment, loaded their weapons and manned the vehicles. They were as ready as they would ever be.
"And what are we recieving in terms of support?" Smith asked again as he clipped a magazine into his FN FAL.

"Su-47s are on Patrol today. There is also a group of 6 Mil-Mi 24s traveling to that Location. They would be more than glad to help you on your mission. The Rebels see every Convoy as a good prize. The Urals when they are loaded travel at a top speed of around 50 km/h. They are unarmored an a round from an RPG or even Small arms fire could fuck it up real bad."
The Convoy of 7 Trucks was loaded and good to go, like a lumbering row of Dummies waiting to be ambushed, they were off and ready to go. The drivers carried basic Body Armor and an AK-74. Their Trucks are also fitted with Smoke discharges, just in case if the Truck Breaks down and gets under attack, the smokes will buy them time to escape.
Alfegos Security Contractor Landing Area
The three teams had set up camp in the landing area: they did not wish for a hotel or barracks, when they would do fine here. The representitive was trying to contact their hiring Kansiov official.
"Yes, we have our main force here, comprising of three teams. What do you want me to do with them, except leave them lying about here all day? Each team can handle a convoy, if you really want it like that, over."
The men had got their vehicles ready, with some last-minute modifications being done to them. Team 1, the most experienced team, had made many modifications to their Basalt IFVs and their armoured trucks: the tracks were covered over by plates of thin ceramic armour, they had stuck slat armour and extra armour sheets all over, and had painted on slogans in Fegosian. The head of Team 1, Lieutenant Ghro'nam, sat aboard his IFV inside the leather seat he had managed to scrounge and fit in. He was a vehicle driver, so relished the high-quality chair he had. He was drinking some coca-cola as he listened to the local radio. Soon, he would have his orders, but for now could relax.
A trooper ran up to Commander Steele, the officer in charge of these 3000 men.
"Sir! Sir, uh, there's some Kansiovan (OOC: is that the right word?) military guy here for us"
"Thanks, trooper"
Steele patted the man on the shoulder a couple of times and ran through the back ramp of the aircraft, towards the uniformed officer. Steele saluted.
"Commander Steele, Yellow Star Security Contractors Ltd., we're Antigran. I'm the guy in charge here"
Steele extended his hand to the man, who's shoulder insignia told him he was a major. Steele was the equivalent of a Brigadier.

The Pax Securia men had brought around twenty-five trucks of their own and fifteen of them were to be deployed in the escort mission. All would be loaded with five men. Five of the trucks would be armed with Machine Guns while the others had TOW Missile launchers. One Truck would go out in front in an attempt to trick any attackers into firing at their vehicle instead of the rest of the convoy. It would be a full minute ahead of the main convoy and that should be enough to ensure that the RPGers took their chance and fired at it.
The aircraft were to remain within close proximity to the convoy itself. If it were to come underattack they would provide covering fire for the ground escorts.
OOC: I assume this is an Urban setting?

OOC: How do you mean? I just make up my own losses or what?
OOC: Make up your own Missions and losses. Thats why I posted major routes.
I was thinking of my first mission being moving everything to my new base...but I don't have one yet. So I can't post an IC.

End of Mission Report
Operator: Pax Securia
Starting Point: Prochnya Airport
Destination: Hecbeyl Nuclear Power Plant
Cargo: Military Supplies
The convoy consisted of seven heavily loaded supply trucks and fifteen HUMVEE escorts, all heading at top speed. Along with the 75 men who would provide proximity support, there were numerous Mi-24 attack helicopters that would provide close air support for the convoy as well as help spot where the Rebels were located.
For the first thirty minutes of the journey, there was little problem and the convoy was able to proceed unharmed. However, along one open section of the N45, the convoy came under RPG fire. It is estimated there were only two RPG's along the route, however they managed to knock out the HUMVEE that was leading the convoy. Suppression fire from the remaining escorts as well as the Helicopter Gunships, ensured that the Rebels did not take advantage of their ambush and were forced to withdraw. All five people in the lead vehicle were killed.
With just ten miles to go to the Power-Plant, the convoy was halted by a road-block manned by approximitly ten Rebels armed with AK-47's. Although they had managed to surprise the convoy, the superior firepower of both the Close Escort (CloEsc) and the Mi-24's ensured it was easily removed. During this engagement, at least a dozen other rebels attempted to attack the rear of the convoy and gain the element of surprise. They were cut down on the open road by the HUMVEE's support weapons, during this battle, one of the trucks was destroyed and several more Pax Securia men were killed and wounded.
However, upon negoitiation of this roadblock and ambush, the convoy was able to proceed to the Power Plant with minor difficulties. Six of the seven trucks arrived to deposit their cargo to the Power Plant.

The SSS were nearing Kansiov and final preps were being done to insure total safety of all those who had signed up. The two Black 747's were approaching Kansiov airspace and sent a message.
"This is Second Shadow Security. We are looking for clearance to land at the nearest airport."
OOC: Sorry busy this week.
"Roger permission to land on runway 34 I repeat you might need to...
I am picking something on the Radar, its a Missile and its heading for you! Oh shit, oh..."
On the ground several Rebels decided to waste a few missiles from their very limited Arsenal of SA-18s. They cheered as they watched the missile fly straight for the plane and video taped the entire ordeal to be sent to the international media as a warning message to the world.
"Lets hope they have counter measures on board."
said the air traffic control officer taking a deep breath after.

OOC: Like I said I will not have the time to RP everything for you. Maybe some important ones but not all. No way.
Hey, guys. Sorry, but I'm gonna have to pull out of this thread 'cos I'm busy. Happy fighting

End of Mission Report
Operator: Pax Securia
Starting Point: Prochnya Airport
Destination: Hecbeyl Nuclear Power Plant
Cargo: VIP's (Nuclear Technicians)
This time, the convoy consisted of two fast armoured cars, each carrying three men of the Kansiov Nuclear Commission and two Soldiers from the Kansiov Army. Their close escort was provided by six HUMVEE's of Pax Securia, (two armed with TOW's and the other four with .50cal MG's) making a total of 35 Pax Securia men involved. This time, close support was provided by Mi-24 gunships but as they were involved in supression activities further north, they could not provide CPC.
The convoy set off at high speed from Prochnya Airport and progress was good for about fifteen minutes. However, following this, a roadblock and ambush laid down by the Rebels delayed the convoy while the Mercenary infantry cleared the road ahead and the emplacements on either side of the road.
Further down the road, the convoy was attacked by a heavy machine gun which racked the side of the vessels with rapid fire. As the Technicans car was heavily armoured, no damage was done and the Machien Gun was knocked out by a dumb-fired TOW missile. However, after a few more miles, the convoy came under heavy rocket fire while trying to avoid a fresh minefield. Three HUMVEE's and one of the Armoured cars was lost before Mi-24's arrived to clear off the Rebels. The rest of the Convoy was able to make it to the Powerplant without difficulty.
Losses for Mission Two
3 x Pax Securia HUMVEE Destroyed
3 x Pax Securia HUMVEE with minor Damage
1 x Armoured Car Destroyed
17 x Pax Securia men killed
8 x Pax Securia men injured
2 x Kansiov Soldiers killed
3 x Nuclear Technicians killed
Total Dead: 22 Killed
Estimated Rebel Casualties: At least twenty killed or wounded at the roadblock, true casualties unknown.
OOC: Alversia, thanks for your effort mate :) Guess I might want to close this one down. People are not so interested. I see who will post tomorrow if not I am going to close this down. Also I don't know where the people RPing the Rebels went :p.
