The Return of the Dark Ones (FT)

Centuries had passed since the pitiful Gaians had managed to evade the great wave of conquest which the Dark Eternals has unleashed upon their insignificant domain. It has been a number less of mortal years since the weak Eternals had beaten back the strongest fleet of Dark Eternals had ever assembled. Yet, now the revenge of the Dark Eternals was nigh as though their Empire had declined greatly and nearly had collapsed, but now the great lords of the Dark Eternals now had rebuilt most of their power and has been able to repair the once great numbers of slave warriors to the degree that they would be able to police the Empire and to launch a massive offensive against the enemies of the Dark Eternal Empire.

Dark Eternal Fleet Gathering Point:

Untold thousands of the great warships of the Dark Eternals, each filled with innumerable slaves willing to give their lives for the cause of their masters, were readying to depart the heart of the Dark Eternal Empire and would, within a couple of days of departing from their starts point, divide into a number of fleets designated to arrive at hundreds of different galaxies. From there they would be able to begin the systematic conquest of the various galaxies that had been targeted by the Dark Eternals, all of which had been chosen for the simply reason that they would serve as either points for future campaigns against other galaxies or that they were galaxies which had been deemed suitable for conquest.

The fleet itself was headed by a couple of dozen of Dark Eternals, as the Dark Eternal population itself was minuscule in the face of the massive population of the Dark Eternal Empire; though the Dark Eternals were very able to maintain control over their massive slave armies and enslaved worlds through their great mental powers which literally controlled what thoughts that individuals could have. Regarding the various ships of the fleet there would be thousands of warships and countless other smaller vessels which had a wide array other purposes.

The first armada to depart target would be the Milky Way Galaxy, the home galaxy of humanity with whom the Dark Eternals had a long standing grudge against due to the fact that humanity was perceived as nothing more then a usurper race who deserved nothing more then the lash or death. As well, the Milky Way galaxy was a galaxy key in the planes of the Dark Eternals in that sector as the Dark Eternals would use it as a base for the conquest of the galaxies that were in the clusters surrounding it.

Milk Way Galaxy Northeastern Sector:

The entire armada assigned to the conquest of the Milky War emerged within a minute of one another, after traveling for nearly a week to get to the galaxy. At the helm of the great fleet of ten thousand Dark Eternal warships, with many more smaller support ships and ships of other types, was the High Lord Mri, who was well known for his hatred of free mortals and for the vicious tactics which he was known to use against the like in the name of the Dark Eternal Empire. For these attributes are what compelled the Dark Eternal Emperor to hand select him for the task of invading and conquering the Milky Way.

Before the initial attacks began though the mortals would be given a signal chance to submit to the Dark Eternals or else the fate of their worlds and people would be one of only glass and ashes.

Dark Eternals' Message:

“Mortals of the Milky Way,

Ye who are doomed to live short miserable lives.

Ye who know only death as the only true certainty.

Ye whose destinies are written in mere decades,

Ye who cannot see the outcome of their own actions.

Ye whose only legacy is a short painful for their children.

Ye whose only way to escape death is to create false gods, when they know well that the only thing that truly awaits them in death is nothing more then bleak never ending night.

Yet, now we, the Dark Eternals, shall offer you a chance to escape such a fate by only submitting to our will and offering yourselves fully to us as our devout and obedient followers. In return we shall offer you a respite from death and a chance to escape the eternal darkness that awaits all mortals in return for only submitting yourselves to our divine will.

To all those who do not accept our offer their fate shall only be one of fire and brimstone. So submit now or face or you shall have nothing more then a fate of eternal darkness and night.”

Eternals? When will these pretenders to the thrones of existence realise that they are but gnats, fleas clinging to the skin and ignoring the muscle beneath. The Warp will outlive these fools, just as it fuels us to outlive our ignorant brethern.

Chaos is the only absolute. It is the glory that guides us to subjugate our lessers, and you are no different. This galaxy is promised to the Gods, who are you inferior outcast and disenfranchised beings to deny them?

The Ascendants leaned back in their palace on Telrosia Prime, in their own dimension, and merely chuckled. "Mortals, eh? They seem to forget that they are nothing compared to being such as us. Trapped in their forms, unable to ascend. It's quite amusing to see them declaring their 'godhood' when they can't even master themselves. Keep a watch on them, but do not bother overmuch if they do not attack us. We need not waste our time with worms."

There was a pause as they detected the Chronosian message. A collective hiss sounded across the mental link, as the corrupting words of Remiel echoed through their head. [font=Geneva]"Be wary of Chronosia; if they get involved, we will have to be wary and may have to involve ourselves as well. Chaos MUST be contained!"[font]

They know nothing of what it means to exist as a true immortal. They are still bound to one and can be destroyed like any mortal, while Eternals of any background can never truly be killed.

OOC: There are ways to weaken a Dark Eternal, but there is no true way to destroy their presence entirely. Though another being who exists on the same type of existence can banish to the realm where all Eternals orginally came from. Yet, as of now only the Eldest One of the 'regular' Eternals can do so, though large numbers of asecended beings are capable of forcing an Eternal of any type into hibernations which have been known to last well over a hundred million years.

Hallowed are we who partake of the gifts of the True Gods. Blessed are we who carry their word across the stars. You achieve nothing through your babblings, save to assure that others hear and stand against you, vermin, would-be despoilers.

As such, when the message from the Eternals came, the Founder was not in the calmest of moods to receive it.

"You have GOT to be kidding me. Who do these fools think they are? Gods, pah. What fools."

He opened a channel to the fleet orbiting the planet. "This is the Founder. Prepare a strike force for extended combat operations. We have an invasion coming our way." The Warp was there before there were minds to touch it, it shall exist long after the flesh has faded. You do not know the Warp, you do not understand it as we do, and so you shall pale before its majesty. You fear it, as you fear us, the raw strength of humanity as it embraces the unembraceable.

You have no truth. Simply overactive egos, clawing at each other in the mewling void, seeking godhood when all you have is control over simple minds. You mistake puppetry for divinity, and shall be found wanting, as all other idolators.

“Well, it looks like we’ll just have to wait.”President Miller said as he leaned back on his chair idly flicking some dust off of his uniform. He then folded his hands on his lap as he looked up at general carvel, his black suit crisp and well pressed. He sighed a bit again starching to one side. As Carvel responded that instant.

“Sir we don’t know much about the tactical capabilities of whatever these things are” the general stood there his blue uniform pressed and cleans as his hands were folded behind him.
Miller responded again as he leaned up to his oak like desk placing his hands on the smooth wood like material folding them. His eyes looked up at carvel as he spoke in a professional voice.

“Send them a message, a stern message”
Carvel nodded he turned to an about face after saluting the president and marched out, miller then started to record the message both via text and voice, his tone was diplomatic yet stern.

To the so called Dark Eternas, your presence in the Milky Way is dually noted, however any attempt at attacking nations with in our local sector will be met with force, and you will be crushed, any attempt to attack the federation will be met with force and you will be crushed, let us hope you get this message loud and clear, do not wave your snake oil mystical power in the face of us or our allies, it will only result in your expulsion from the galaxy.

Miller sat back placing his hand on a glass of brandy on his desk, he picked it up and sighed as the hazelnut brown liquid entered his mouth from the clear crystal. It was time now to wait for a response.

The Novus Empire, as many people might have been led to believe, was not large due to having an abundance of worlds that they have colonized. Many of the worlds they exerted control over were large spheres of metal and barren rock. They were the worlds lost to the Hierarchy's hunger for resources, and every planet found by the Novus to be destroyed like this, is given a proper burial. A large tombscape is built over the surface, and it serves as a reminder of those they are meant to avenge.

As such, they only had some token forces in the areas, as they had no vital reasons to have military assets....yet. They were in the process of developing a way to terraform the planets and make them habitable again. They would not be able to restore most of the destroyed races, but they could take over wardship for the planets, to ensure they never get harmed again. The probe came in and produced the message, and it alerted the already awakened Novus.

A squadron of interceptors swept out and fired on the probe so as to disable it. They then grabbed it in a gravitic field and brought it back to the destroyer they had been deployed from, to be investigated and studied. Meanwhile, a message was sent all over the Empire, alerting fleets and readying the Novus for what was to come. The Eternals would not take what they did so lightly.....

The signal was also received by a secreted and currently hidden world somewhere in the same targeted Milky Way Core Galaxy. But that was all, listened to and archived for future reference.

Nevermind the DE version of history was likely revisionist, since the Gaians ran the DE out of three-fourths of the habitable Alpha Universe, before the start of the First Dark Ascendancy War shifted Sphere resources in an entirely focused direction. (Crossing a Dimensional Barrier takes a LOT of energy and planning.)

As a result of this, plus the fact by then, the DE were an impotent foe at the time the Gaians didn't actually bother finishing off. (Even a Holy Jihad loses steam over 'that' large a span of Universal space. A lesson actually applied as a mistake not repeated upon the Dark Ascendancy, over the billion plus year period of eternal war.)

If this was such a consequence of not finishing the DE off, it was interesting, if unintended hindsight the 'current' Gaian refugees were to keep in mind, during this period of trying to recover basic footing amongst the Alpha Universe souls they once were a part of.

It was noted as such as Lady Seer Goddess Belldandy looked over the message receipt from Lady Skuld. "Goodness me."

:: ~ "“Mortals of the Milky Way,

Skuld just sighed. "Guess we made a mistake after all. Not that we had a choice at the time." ..the raven haired Science Council Advisor, and Goddess Second Core standing, scratched her hair by. Belldandy just laid the Padd of silver-white make, and holographic display mode, and sighed. "As if the Dark Ascendancy gave us a choice. Even we at our peak couldn't be in two Dimensions at once.

I wonder if the lesson unto us now, in our current state, is of note."

The usually gentle and serene goddess looked over and out across a landscape she 'still' feels is too foreign and, to be honest, bland in comparison to the Homeworlds, and the realm that was now unto Oblivion Entropic's embrace. A spread of growing white-diamond and crystalline city-span circles and hewn in traffic circles, all literally still in nascent 'growing' stages, lay amongst the mostly still green and forested planetscape they now called home. (For all ill to their all too fresh memories.)

Belldandy just kept her 'constant' prayer of silent mode, that the rest of the growing stage of the cities around, and underground the planet, and the two moons readily available, would be completed soon enough, to allow recovery of the remainder of the still in stasis population, refugee podded aboard the Ascendancy A-SSD that was nothing more than a cryo-ship now, orbiting ever overhead unto easy sight.

A reminder of the great scar the Gaians kept enduring.

Another, the still young branches of the Palace Tree she and Skuld were having this cheerful discourse in, one that only cast bare shadow in even the late afternoon this same converse is taking place, shown what only a year of seclusion had wrought. Within five years, the refugees hoped to change that status amongst many fronts, going by the ancient timetable the 'original' Ascendancy used in the Hearken Days, of the First Age.

All things took time, especially now for the bereft of 'so' much.

Belldandy just sighed, showing her usual serenity was greatly strained. (Which equative to a more normal person, would be full of shouting and cursing. Ol Bell 'was' as tough as nails.)

"We can only keep an ear and hopeful mind out, depending on where this all goes. We 'must' maintain our Seclusion, much as such is cowardice on our part."

Skuld shook her head. "The old Excellency bonehead wouldn't have said it as so. I doubt Lady Isarra would say so either, once we waken her."

Skuld, as soon as she mentioned the Lady Princessa, smacked her own melon. Such was due to the 'darkened' facade Belldandy then foretook, as the thought of telling a lady the death of her parents (as far as Belldandy could conclude by current evidence from the Exodus,) was 'one' iota that was far from being relished to conduct.

Belldandy just clutched her Council robes of blue and white, trimmed ever so divinely. "I hope she can forgive us." ..she began to sob.

Skuld knew words were hopeless now. Belldandy would right her emotions soon enough anyway. No one of the remaining Council wouldn't feel less these days. The wounds were festering, memories before the Dark Ascendancy Raping and loss of the Antara Dimension were too fresh, and Gaian lifespans of the Eons were filled with the curse of memories that were all so much happier, now shredded away to cry many tears by.

So many souls lost amongst 'that' many lost.

Immortality had a real curse to it, ageless of the taken for granted, into the current morbid mode.

Skuld just left, leaving the Padd forgotten. The Dark Eternals were fools that could be defeated by others in the Gaian's place. It was 'hardly' likely they advanced much in the time since the DE Wars. And the Alpha Universe inhabits of nations were far more powerful than they themselves realized. The Gaians of the now and secluded knew that much. (Hence the Seclusion until the time was right.)

A focused invasion would just be ejected with enough cooperation. And even if the DE got to the hiding spot of the Gaian remains, they'd still regret it into the Gaian's extinction, if enforced.

Skuld herself was angry enough at the state of things, to ensure her resources would rape such an enemy, if they dared come near the Gaian refugees now. No other Gaian still remaining would do no less.

Which lent to the next hope of her breast and heart, as she went through a sparsely populated Tree-hallway, to a large, but vacant overlook. Skuld sighed, knowing the Proper days of past, this same overlook would be alive with sentient life and Synthetic same. The loneliness of even being here made Skuld shiver.

And knowing Valkyrian Commander Lind was out on 'the' errand that they had been sent here for, for reasons mostly uncertain in final details, that hoped would change if a certain long lost Knight Lord of the Gaian could be returned after a ten thousand year plus absence. For if so, 'no' Gaian present would lose hope again.

Skuld just prayed 'very' much of full intent, and hoped with voice spoken aloud. "Please return our deliverance of our Cousin. I pray thee the lost of our Council blood most divine.

Please.... I'm begging......"

At that moment, even the DE was pale insignificance in comparison.

What compared to what 'would' come in the days yet untold.

The Darkness in-between dimensions was only broken by violet energy discharges of T-Space. The Serendipity ignored lightning strikes capable of utterly destroying a non-Ta’Nar vessel and were harmlessly absorbed into the drives and utilized by the ship as extra power, or simply shunted through the Space Minus Tap if it was not needed. The Ta’Nar flagship was on route to The Fist after a minor diversion. Within his meditation chambers, Nhur-Galladu was concentrating on something only the Warlord of the Ta’Nar had privacy to know. Shipmind suddenly intruded upon the outer layer of the barriers he commonly erected to sheild his mind and his thoughts.

Sire, the communication’s officer received a message broadcast across open bands.

And I need my meditation interrupted for?

It seems you are required to read it yourself. I know how I would answer it personally but it is apparently a challenge.

A Challenge? Is it from a worthy foe? Relay it to me.

The message was relayed through the Shipmind directly to Nhur-Galladu. He played the message through twice before letting out a mental sigh and rolled his metaphysical eyes.

Serendipity, you were right. It seems these supposedly ascendant beings are trying to make a land grab. It is curious in the fact they are using fear to obtain worshipers. That goes to show you how ascended they are if they need followers. Truly ascended beings do not need followers. They wouldn’t want any in the first place; followers are a weakness for without them their powers are extremely weakened. A truly ascended being exists without them in perfect harmony with the Multiverse around them. A truly ascended uses the powers inherent in the Multiverse itself, not Belief generated abilities that can disappear at a whim. The fact they requested followers is self evident and quite funny in the total context of the message.

Yes Warlord. It does sound like these are pretenders. What is your wish?

Well, the fact they need to issue a Challenge means they cannot do what they claim without trying to sway the unsteady or younger races in their favor using false fear to manipulate them. I would not be surprised to see some fall for the ploy and probably a nation or two who might thing they can use this for their own advantage to join these Pretenders.

Yes I agree. I cannot see too many joining their side. If they do, that would be their only true threat.

If we were to respond it would only back their false claims. If we were to ignore them there would be no reason for the child races to hesitate joining the Pretenders. What a dilemma; dammed if you do, damned if you don’t. Perhaps it would be best to gain insight from some of our allies. Prepare to send a message to Remiel and to Brianna through our Kython Attendants of their Ambassadors. I wish their advice upon these Usurpers of Common Sense.

Secure Message to Emperor Remiel De Drakan, Chronosia:

Greetings Brother and Old Friend,

Undoubtedly you have already received the message these loud braggarts have carelessly flooded the airwaves of the galaxy with. My first impulse is to utterly ignore these claims of theirs for what they truly are, empty threads of self-important Pretenders. The nations who are unwise and foolish enough to see through their obfuscation thronging to their side are the only threat their words contain. I worry that any physical reaction upon our part would lend validity their litany. Failure to take action would allow them to continue this charade until they do gain followers. If they gain a foothold then it would be harder to root them out later.

What actions have you considered taking against them?

Secure Message to Brianna, Telros Ascendancy:

Greetings Friends

Without a doubt you have noticed the Pretenders interfering with the communications of this galaxy with their work of comedy. I felt it would be most prudent to contact you to get your take upon this situation.

As I see it, if they were as they claim, there would be no need for Followers. That means they are not truly ascended and are nothing but charlatans. If they continue and obtain their needed followers plus any who think they can use this situation to their advantage, it will be harder to foot these interlopers out of the galaxy later. If we respond to their litany, then our actions would validate their claims and make others believe they are a Power to follow.

I know you oppose Entropy but if these fools are allowed to proceed unchecked they could spread the Insanity and Chaos of War across several systems that do not need their development interfered with.

What response are you going to make to these fools?

Nhur-Galladu finished his two messages and sent them through the Kython Link to the respected destinations. That done, he returned to his meditation, keeping a small part of his mind aware for the replies from his allies.

Miller walked in to the large busing command center, his black suit pressed and neatly folded, as generals and military officers swarmed around him sitting on to their leather like chairs around a table that looked like gloss wood , miller sat down at the head of the table as holographic consoles blipped and blinked around him. General carvel stood up and started to pace around to the main astrometrical screen, he started to speak in a professional voice looking at several senators and military officers.

”As you know Mr president, senators and joint chiefs, we have a situation unfolding with these dark eternals or thingamajigs whatever they call themselves, now I have received words from our out bound SWAC’s listing post that a message was sent to the faction known as novus warning them of an impending attack from dark eternal forces, now in light of this I have made several suggestions.” He coughed a bit crossing his arms standing next to the screen the turned in to a tactical map of the sector.

“Now my suggestions are this, that we prepare a rapid reaction force to cross the novus border and intervene should there be an attack, before hand though, we need authorization to set all Federation forces to defcon three with the exception of strategic sector command, as you know they run the rapid reaction forces, they will be set to Defcon , our SWAC’s and sensors outpost will be set to Intelicon 1, maxim readiness.”

at his senators who nodded to him, he then looked up to general carvel, placing his hands on the desk with a sigh responding. “All right do It, the senate won’t be happy but at this point we need to do this.” With that said miller stood up, suddenly the entire area had a klaxon ring, and the AI announcing. “All forces are now at Defcon 3, repeating all forces at Defcon 3” Miller wandered out towards another door.

Mean while at SSC:
Admiral Adams sat back in his leather like chair, overlooking the darkness of space his hands crossed on his lap as his blue eyes panned the dead planet bellow. As the klaxon rang and AI came on announcing all SSC forces are to be put on Defcon 2. He stood up instantly pushing the chair back in to a wall and wandering out on to the busy command center, thousands of computers panels AI’s, and holographic control surfaces greeted him, all manned with personnel. He looked over to his XO who was on the holocomn with New Washington. “Yes general carvel, I’ll let him know right away” with that said the young Xo caught a glimpse of the admiral and said as he sighed. “Sir General Carvel wants the rapid reaction fleets on the border ASAP”

Adams nodded placing his hands behind him folding them, “affirmative, I’ll raise the fleet see when they can get their asses to the border”

With that he had pressed a few buttons on the holocom, his face appeared on board the brand new battle carrier UTS John F Kennedy, Captain john styles, previously assigned to indigo station was on the bridge, he stood in the large CIC room were panels and holographic feeds, as well as tactical maps dotted the entire room , as the message came through he looked up to the screen.

Adams started to speak “This is SSC, as you know we have been ordered to Defcon 2 by the president himself, all Rapid reaction forces will get their orders via secured packet now, read, review and execute, that is all.”
Styles sighed as he wandered over to the holographic message screen, seeing large amounts of text and a map come up , Styles sighed as he started to read.

To all rapid reaction forces:
From: President Jack miller United Terran Federation, Admiral Beloss UTSF, and General Duke Carvel, UTA.
It has recently come to our attention that hostile forces not form this galaxy, they have threatened all life with extermination , if they do not subject to them, as of now the small nation of novus just beyond disrupted space Several light years away from Terran borders , is under threat, as they have sent a message from a probe of some kind to it, all forces are at Defcon 3, all SSC forces are at defcon 2, all rapid reaction fleets are to wait on the terran border, jump drives activated, and a course plotted towards nouvan space, should any invasion happen, Orders will come down to authorize the use of force , to extinguish all threats. That is all…

Styles nodded to himself as he turned over to the helms officer, waving his hand “helm tell the rest of the fleet to jump to the border, make ready FTL charge when we get there and go to condition yellow.”

The helms officer nodded she pressed a few buttons, the massive 200 ship fleet with the JFK in the lead began jumping out, crating vortexes of crackling energy as they moved towards their destination, their ominous bodies shimmering In the blue and green light of the portals….

Styles sat back in his chair as is fleet arrived several moments later coming to a crawl, it was know the waiting game, whoever will make the first move, the RRF will be ready, the JFK had recently acquired a full stock of Titan Missiles, that required authorization from High command to use, the most powerful ICBM sized weapons in the fleet able to take down even a super star destroyer with a hit or two.

A stream of gray smoke, rose gently into the air. A small thin strand of smoke rose, at first it appeared to have two strands, as it rose to the heavens. The smoke grabbed one another and danced, rising a foot off the incense holder, until small smoke rings broke off, floating gently to the ceiling above. As the smoke rose, Hallen’s nostrils filled with the sweet smell of the incense, the flame, destroying what was ablaze before it, leaving nothing but ash and smoke, filled the room with it’s beauty, it’s purpose, the only thing it was meant to do. It burned.

In the center of the room, a woman kneeled down, her body pure, uninhibited by the fabric of society, pure, human. She lowered her head in silent mediation, as dark prayers slowly drifted out of her mouth. The dark words of the blasphemous prayers, to the dark gods of the warp, the lords of Chaos, drifted out of her red lips, from her pale skin, as she waited in the middle of the room. Around her adorned on the walls the dark runes of Chronosia, the symbols of powers, the symbols of the gods of chaos. Three feet in front of her, on a make shift alter, sat two small statues.

She looked to the statues, the bronze creations, which depicted her patron gods, Chronos and Reah. She opened her dark brown eyes, to look upon the two Lords of Kobal. In between them sat a visage of pleasure, and pain. Of love and of hate. The Divine Emperor, the blessed one, who alone was to glorify the gods of the warp. His words held the fate of thousands of worlds, and billions of people. It was he, who she was truly grateful to. The man who sought her above all others, the man who saved her from the Coredians, from her own people, who at the eleventh hour broke into her cell, and raised her above all others.

It was Remiel who suggested Admiral Hallen be promoted to her current level, second in Command of the Colonial fleet of the Twelve Colonies of Kobal. It was he, and he alone that sent his best men to Geminon, to break into the prison to save her. It was he, and Turiel, who had sacrificed so many just to save her. How could she be so worthy to have caught his gaze, from Asfaltum til today?

She quietly kneeled to his image, as her ship a testament of her will, the Warstar Zeus, lingered beside Remiel’s own. Her mission, was a simple one, to provide support to the Allies of the Colonies during their black crusade, and to act as a diplomatic ambassador of the Colonies to the Warmaster himself. For Hallen however, the mission was much more personal. It was a pleasure for her to be here, this was her pilgrimage, her sanctuary. Here Colonial ship, along side Chronosians, she felt at home, her true localities lying with the divine Emperor of the Chronosians.

“Admiral Hallen please contact the CIC. Admiral Hallen, please contact the CIC.”, blared across the loud speakers, interrupting her dark rites and rituals to her newfound gods. Admiral Hallen, got off her knees, and walked over to the phone. Her naked hand, grabbed the cold black phone, as she answered.

“This is Admiral Hallen.”

“You have received a communication broadcast abroad. What was the message.”

Moments passed as the voice on the other end of the phone told the message.

Her face began to shine, as the message from this Dark Ascendants was told to her.

“No, no need to bother Admiral Cain with the communication. File away the report, and send it to Picon Fleet headquarters.” she replied, as she turned her head to look at the dark runes on the wall.

“No, there is no need for that. Instead I want you to triangulate the message, and find out it’s source. Once you do that, have two raptors jump to the coordinates to begin scouting the area. If they wish to be the enemy of the Colonies, then I want to know everything about them possible.”

Admiral Hallen slowly lowered the phone back on the reciever. She turned towards a couch, and gently sat down. Her thoughts flowed, as she reached for a crystal glass, and began to pour herself a green liquor called Ambrosia. She filled the glass half way, as she began to swirl it in her glass. “What kind of people would threaten hostilities over open airwaves. That is a horrible tactical move, as it allows whoever it was directed at time to prepare.” she thought to herself as she took a sip of Ambrosia.

“Even the cylons have more tactical sense. Why would they allow people to know of their existence?” she continued to think to herself. “Instead why do they not just pop in, and destroy their target.” she replied to herself. She gulped down her glass of Ambrosia, and smiled. For the moment though, this was not her top concern, as she began to gently kneel on the floor again, before the visage of Remiel.

The Eternals would not take what they did so lightly.....The Dark Eternal fleet began to assemble a fairly large force of four hundred ships to invade the Novus Empire with the idea of either forcing them to submission after leveling a couple of fleets and worlds, totally destroying a majority from the attacks and leaving the remainder alive to be kept as slaves, or that they simply destory the entire empire by dismembering all their ships and glassing all the worlds of the Novus Empire.

Emperor Janis Tilant stood still and emotionaless listening to the message from the Dark Ones. He thought for a moment then pushed a button on his hand communicator,

"General Thomas."

A response was immediate.

"Yes sir?"

"I want all generals of the main staff to come to my command room." said Emperor Tanis.

Minutes later three men and one woman entered the room and stood near a table at attention.

"I want all military stations at red alert and battle ready. I just recieved a message...a threat from a Empire that wants to attack the Galaxy. I want the 1st Fleet, 2nd Fleet and 4th Fleet to prepare for an invasion. I want the 5th, 7th and 8th Fleet to prepare as a strike force that will attack the aggressive forces invading."

"Yes sir, but shouldnt we also call back 9th fleet too? I know they are on a mission currently..." General Pathon said.

"No, they are on an important mission." the Emperor said.

He then turned to a com on the wall and started to send a message to the Dark Ones,

Attention Dark Eternal ones,
I will not take lightly a threat by you. If you enter this galaxy i will be forced to join those that are threatened by you and my Empire.

While the Dark Eternals assembled, the Novus were already ahead of the game. They were always at a state of semi-mobilization anyways, seeing as they were constantly fighting the Hierarchy. Since they used nanites to simply make whatever they needed, they didn't have much of an economy, so they were mostly focused on three things; expansion, war, and culture.

They had been moving to expand, with efforts on Isvl going towards that end, they were busy fighting the Hierarchy on Earth, and they were advancing their racial identity. Well, not really racial, but the programming had been changed so that all A.I. could learn. Change. Become its own unique being. This had been opposed by the Founder for a long time, citing the conflict with the Hierarchy, but with recent victories and the establishment of the Novus Empire, the move was needed.

So, they had been at a state of alert, ready for an Hierarchy attack, but instead, was now facing one from a certain Dark Eternals. From their message, they had immediately begun mobilizing all fleets, and readied ground defenses. The Flow network, which extended across too many worlds to count, would allow them to quickly and efficiently move their armies and navies throughout their nation, to combat this new threat. Their nation's size, while daunting at first, was not what it seemed. Almost 90% of the nation was entirely tomb worlds; the barren rocks of worlds destroyed by the Hierarchy, which were then transformed into planet-sized tombs by the Novus, as they continued their march to defeat the Hierarchy.

So, they would be fighting over worlds that were not essential to the continuation of the Novus, and it was highly doubtful that the Eternals would ever find their worlds. As such, the Novus would simply be wearing down their enemy as they fought over the tomb worlds. And if the enemy won, they would merely get planets covered by cities that glorified the races lost, with no technology to gain, and planets that were drained of all resources.

The Dark Eternals, in attacking the Novus, would face the very real possibility of spending hundreds of years searching for their elusive foes main worlds, and be unable to find them......

The Eternal Undead Imperium of Deatharon received this rather cold message from the Dark Eternals. The Deatharoni at one time had dealt with the Dark Eternals before and betrayed them on the behest of the Neo Zetans and the Gaian Ascendancy during the Great War.

This rather long piece of history to the Deatharon was just that history as the years had passed cruelly leading to the rise and fall of several different civilizations that took the place of the old Empire and in the end the great reckoning had come and the Deatharoni had become creatures of death and destruction as their mortal bodies died and were risen again by the dark power of their ancient and evil goddess Minax the Goddess of Death and Destruction.

The dark Goddess with her unholy power awakened her children and turned them into the undead forever binding them to her and allowing no rival gods to take her children from her. The message from the Dark Eternal frightened Minax deeply and she ordered her children to go forth and destroy this threat to her dark dominion over the realm of the living..

The Lichen Emperor Antonio Von Antheron XXII upon receiving a vision from the Goddess sent her reply and in unison the whole Imperium sent their reply as the voices of the dead sent their dark message in reply to the Dark Eternals message…….

OFFICAL IMPERIAL PROCLAMATION

The Eternal Undead Imperium shall never submit to the false threats of egoistical mortals. We are creatures of death and as such we have no fear of death. Your simpering threats of death and destruction, shall only bring ruin to you and your people as the mortals of the Milky Way Galaxy shall unite and bring your own destruction upon you.

The Goddess Minax also sends her response to your ridiculous message that should you dare attempt to invade her children’s worlds. She will personally send her Avatar to purge you out of this Galaxy for the rest of eternity……..

The Dead Awaken from Centuries of Sleep…..

The Eternal Imperium of Deatharon upon receiving the call from their Dark Goddess begins to move as the corpses of billions of Deatharoni rise from the ground of several planets. The dead begin to walk as they lumber slowly towards their positions that they had manned during their time in life.

The undead moved with a single purpose and they did not seem to be stopping as dark power pulsed from their bodies and kept them animated as they began to reactivate their defense systems and their once mighty fleets.

These ancient warships were the pride of the Deatharoni until the great reckoning had come killing almost all sentient life in Deatharoni space. This pathetic state of life did not deter the children of Minax and they had awakened from a death like sleep…

The Lichen Emperor Antonio Von Antheron XXII sitting upon his throne of bones merely watched as his subjects followed the Goddess’s dark commands to march the Legions of the Dead…..

The time of the Dark Eternals would end in blood as their slaves would be hunted by the forces of death and destruction itself. The Deatharoni ships began to leave their stations above the dead fortress like worlds of the Imperium’s inner territory and began to make wormhole jumps towards the outer frontier to force out any Dark Eternal Incursion forces…….

Emperor Janis was sitting at the command table when the message arrived over the com from a computer in front of him. He frowned and nodded his head. He then turned toward the two remaining generals that are in the room and ordered them to inform the fleets on the outer rim to be prepared.

Then he turned to the com and sent a message back to the Dark Ones.

"I warned you Dark Ones, I do not take kindly to threats. Enter the Milky Way Galaxy and you will meet your maker and see the doom to your soldiers.

He turned and walked out of the room confidently.

Meanwhile thousands of light years away, a light flashed and multitudes of ships flew into a unnamed system not far from the end of the galaxy. A total of 150 ships appeared in normal space. Each fleet had 50 ships within it network. Each fleet had a compliment of a super heavy battleship which was the flag ship of each fleet, nine heavy battleships, five light battleships, ten mass destroyers, ten slipstream cruisers(they have cloaking ability), ten scout craft(cloaking ability), five heavy carriers and five light carriers. And with all the carriers combined in each fleet, there was 22500 fighter craft and 5500 bomber craft. Of all three fleets, they had a combined fighter craft of 67500 fighter craft and 16500 bomber craft. It was an awsome display of power. And these fleets didnt even have the compliment of troop transports with them.

System-0... Deep in HOA Controlled Space

The sound of boots clicking against the metal floors of what was known throughout the Heart Of Armaggeddon as simply the 'HeadQuarters'. A single man, clad in a dark red uniform that looked as if it belonged in 20th Century Nazi Germany or Soviet Russia, moved through the hallways. As he moved about, military personnel snapped to attention and civilians paused their conversations too give him a long nod. He ignored all of these, but if any had not given him proper defferance, he would have taken sharp notice... and action.

He came to the end of the hallway and paused too confirm his security clearance. The massive door lifted clear, and the man walked into a dimly lit room. No sooner had he entered the room, then did he pause.

"Ghost..." The man said, his voice dark and threatening, "I dont have time for your games."

Nothing.

"DAMNIT GHOST!" The man said, irritably.

He took a step forward... and immediatly felt something metallic press against the back of his neck.

"Greetings, Marshal Herring." A calm, collected voice said from behind him.

'Marshal Herring' swung around and glared at the man lowering the gauss magnum. The man with the magnum wore a pair of sunglasses and a black jumpsuit.

"Will you stop trying too screw with me? I have too see Xenocide, Ghost." Marshal Herring said.

Ghost nodded towards the concrete door on the otherside of the room.
"Go right ahead. He is expecting you."

Herring gave a curt nod and walked towards the concrete door, which swung open on its own accord. He walked through into another room that was lit only by the screens of various computer consoles. Only one was manned, a console showing the Universe stood large, and sitting infront of it was the man known only as Xenocide.

"So... Marshal Herring." Xenocide said through his gas mask, nodding towards his new guest, "It seems we have some new visitors to this side of the Milky Way..."

"Indeed." Marshal Herring said, "I have come too ask for new orders."

Xenocide didnt answer immediatly, he answered quickly enough.

"Do not reply too the message. But prepare our armies and fleets for a possible attack. If those Alien bastards try too inhibit humanities rightful place in the Galaxy, then they shall be annihilated."

This was done due to the Dark Eternal commander of the fleet not wanting to blindly dispatch the greater part of his fleet to one part of the Novus Empire and in turn leave the other parts of his fleet to weak to fight off large scale attacks.

At the Dark Eternal’s command ten warships passed the boundary into the Novus Empire and from there began to pursue their information gathering mission. Though what they would encounter in the first system that they entered would only be a guess as the leader of the ship squadron hoped to only do a routine scan of the planets of the system and also a couple of the ships, but their was also a high chance that they were simply falling into the lion’s den.

As Dark eternal forces jumped in to space near terran borders, it was obvious they were up to something, Outpost 32 along the border going out towards the eastern milky way was usually quiet, no activity what so ever, until its long range sensors picked up a mass of FTL signals, the commander of the staion Idly wandered across the large Command center, personnel at their intelicon one stations, the entire SWAC’s Grid was on edge and on alert, for signs such as this.

The commander looked at the screen reports flooding his sensors; his eyes panned the line of information concerning the FTL jumps, he hmmed a bit, putting his to his chin, as he idly sat back in his chair swilling to yet another console, with a screen on top of it, he placed his rough hands upon the console taping on to the holographic immersive keys, he started to contact the Red line at the capitol building.

President Miller laughed a bit, his blue eyes panning the beautiful face of his wife, her brown eyes peered back in to his, they broke eye contact as Miller sighed saying. “It’s good to see you drop by my office, how are things in the east wing, kids doing ok?”
She responded with an angelic voice nodding “yes, every things fine, I’m worried about this war though, you don’t need any more stress in your life”

Miller just laughed he sat back in his chair saying as he held his wife’s silky smooth hand. “Well I’m close to retirement, as soon as the campaigning is done with Maxwell, I’m all yours honey”

Suddenly the call came in, miller looked up to his wife as the red line began ringing and chiming, his wife Beverley millers expression went grim as she walked out closing the two marble like metal doors behind her, miller sat up pressing his hand to answer his call, his eyes panning the screen as he saw the commander of the station 32 on the border on line. He started to speak with a coarse rough voice.

”Mr president, we have confirmation of enemy fleet movements outside of the border, as per executive order one nine five you must make the executive decision to set our status to defcon one”
“I am well aware of that Commander, thank you” he said as he turned the holo TV off, he sat back in his chair folding his hands on his lap as he spoke in to the AI.
“Please raise general carvel from SSC.”
He sighed as the AI complied, the screen came up, the bald general with a salt and pepper mustache came on screen looking at the president, who by that time was sitting up with his hands on his desk.

“I heard Mr President, what is your orders sir”
The president smiled a bit, he folded his hands together as he looked at the general, starting to talk.
“Yes, set all remaining forces to DEFCON 1 status, you have full authorization, authorize the use of titan missiles, and leave it up to the fleet admirals discretions.”

Carvel nodded, miller shut the holo com off and sat back in his chair swiveling to look out the window, towards the massive city bellow, endless spires and buildings of marble like metal and glass glimmering in the sun light. Carvel swiveled around in his chair peering in to the screen; he started to speak as the rapid reaction force fleet commander came up.
“Admiral” he said ….

“We have confirmation all forces are at defcon one you are go for operation vigilant shield, the president has also authorized the use of titan missiles when necessary… good luck and god speed”

With those words Adams sat back in his chair, swiveling over to view all of his officers, he stood up. He looked around and started to speak through the microphone, his wireless interface going on the fritz as his orders rang out.

“This fleet has been ordered to act, the entire Federation is now at defcon one. This is a dangerous time for the Union its allies and us, helm, you have your orders set course for the FTL signatures we detected “ He tapped the comn on the side of a large door, and wandered over to the center of the command center, it was busy, blue klaxons blared slightly as the fleet began preparing for jump, RRF Alpha and RRF bravo, were gathered at separate systems on the border, 200 ships each fleet was a force to be reckoned with, with the most advanced gear in the entire federation fleet.

Alpha fleet jumped out, their ominously massive ships opening multidimensional portals in to space and time, jumping in to the crackling vortex of energy. Their bodies glimmered with energy as they entered a jump, going towards the signatures they had seen bravo fleet would jump as well but only to stay at a way point some time behind alpha fleet as a backup….

The waiting game now… see what would happen…

They would fight for their freedom and their honor. The host that these mortals were about to face was, perhaps, the most foreign that had ever invaded the Milky Way galaxy as the masters of the vast fleets and armies that they were about to face were not the great warrior races or were they master manipulators that the other great empires were led by, but beings who exerted control by countless generations of genetic manipulation and through their mentals which allowed them to maintain rule over billions of subjects just through their thoughts alone.

At the helm of the fleet desingated to conquer the space of the Coalition and he was a Dark Eternal who would commit mass murder in order to use it as an example to the rest of this miserable galaxy to show that the Dark Eternals would go to any lengths to conquer this galaxy, even it meant the mass destruction of entire species to do as the Dark Eternals were creatues willing to do untold things for victories.

She will personally send her Avatar to purge you out of this Galaxy for the rest of eternity……..We Dark Eternals have no fear of the false gods or any of their minions. If your idol of worship dares to challenge us we shall banish her from this dimension forever and rid the universe of her foul thralls.

It was time now to wait for a response.Mortals, life short and brutal, so eager to throw away what little time you have are you that you will openly challenge beings far superior to your in strength and in martial abilities. Yet, we will offer you one chance to renounce your path of self destruction and accept our rule.

“Have our allies replied to any of our messages yet?”

“No, your Honor.”

Nhur-Galladu was patiently waiting for Remiel or the Telros Ascendants to reply but it seemed they were busy. He made up his mind on the course of action to take while he waited for them to return the communication. He accessed the data from the other known battles and placed it on a screen. There was about to be at least two battles soon and they would provide important recon.

“Send out a team to the battles. Keep them hidden and see if they can return with direct information about the invaders. Before we move ahead with any plans I make, information is needed.”

“Yes Sire. I will send in a recon team to one of the engagements after they start destroying each other. I will instruct them to take samples if possible.”

The officer turned to do his job while the Ta’Nar Warlord continued to watch the feed from the probes.

While the fleets were forming up at the edge of the known Milky Way Galaxy, a scout craft from each fleet was sent ahead in as cloaked and invisable to the naked and electronic eye. Unfortantly the technology didnt allow the ship to fire while cloaked. But as they moved ahead of the rest of the huge combined fleet they saw hundreds of hostile ships.

******

Meanwhile back at the combine fleets. . .

There was three Admirals of the three fleets. There was Admiral James Dronis of the Excalber, Admiral John Highter of the Nicklebear and Vice Admiral Josh Hecker of the Pheonox; who was the one in charge of the combined fleets.

"Have we sent out the scouts yet?" Vice Admiral Hecker asked.

"Yes we have Vice Admiral," replied Admiral Dronis.

"Because i do not want any suprises from our hostile Dark Ones. Plus i want to be able to use the full power of the fleet and fighter craft if they do invade."

"No worries there Josh," replied Admiral John Highter, one of the few Admirals or military leaders that could call Vice Admiral by his first name.

"Good, now get those fighter craft on routine flights to prepare them, ordered the Vice Admiral.

Thats when all the men exited the meeting to their respective ships.

"...and that's what my opinion is, Head Master-sensei."

"Very well, Misora-kun. Keep me apprised of the situation."

"Hai!"

The hologram in front of the Head Master, Konoemon Konoe (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/th/4/43/Konoe_konoemon.jpg), leader of the Maho Caste, then blinked out as the communication was cut. He hummed to himself as he leaned back into his chair at Mahora Academy on Magicus Mundus.

"The Dark Eternals," he said aloud. "Hmmmm..." After pondering a few more moments, he pressed a button on his desk console. "Shizuna-kun, please send for the Council of Khans, as well as the Crimson Wing, Evangeline-san, Takamichi-kun, and the White Wing. I believe we should have a joint meeting."

------------------

"And this is why I have called you all here," finished the Head Master. Before him, the conglomerated individuals he had called for sat before him, reviewing much of what had transpired outside of Clan space. Their faces showed no emotion as they reviewed the transcripts before them. Finally, the ilKhan spoke.

"I believe we should stay out of this," he said. Upon those words, everyone looked up at him, their faces showing blank emotions. The ilKhan shifted nervously. "Did I say something wrong?"

"No," replied Nagi, leader of the Crimson Wing. "As a matter of fact, you're thinkin' exactly what we all are." The assembled members of the Board nodded and murmured in agreement.

"Then it is settled," said the ilKhan. "We, the Clans, shall take no part. Keep all external traffic low, and send no return transmission. With the amount of interference from the temporal and nebula walls surrounding our space, these Dark Eternals may pass over us."

The waiting game now… see what would happen…OOC: I am planning to use the old military of dividing and conquering this galaxy so expect a response once my other fleets have begun their assualts.:p

The Ascendants were somewhat surprised that the Balroggans had chosen to contact them, but they quickly replied to their allies.

Secure Message to Nhur-Galladu, Fallen Empire of Balrogga:

Well said, well said. As for our response, we have quietly mobilized the sufficient force and resources in case we need to crush this pathetic insurrection, but we will not enter it....yet. We do not wish to commit ourselves to such a battle for, as you said, it gives them legitimacy. Yet, as you say, if we leave them alone they may get a foothold. We are at a loss of what to do, but with the tense situation in the Colonies and at Konoha, we do not want to stretch ourselves too much.

However, now that you are thinking of getting involved, that can change. If you feel the need to get involved, we will be right there beside you, should you need us for anything. We were thinking of basically getting involved when these Fools began to cause too much havoc or if they continued to overrun all the nations they came across. They have not yet, so we weren't thinking of getting involved. So, what do you think we should do?

The scouting mission of the Dark Eternals was both rather informative, yet useless at the same time. They discovered the system was vastly different from the normal systems seen in space in that no life existed on any of the planets. Most planets were lifeless, but this planets all looked at the same. A complete white sphere, with some black dots here and there.. Deeper scans would realize that some kind of radiation was emitting from the surface, showing some kind of energy had stripped the planet of all its resources. Some of the system would be only empty space, as some of the planets, the gas planets and the purely rock ones, were totally devoured by some unseen foe.

However, the planets would show that the white surface was not part of the planet, but some kind of planet-wide construction that covered the entirety of the planet. Nothing important, technological or otherwise, was detected on the planets. However, their simply recon trip was not going to go so well. The Novus, whom had been prepared and waiting for an attack, reacted quickly to the incursion, as three separate battle groups, each holding ten ships, appeared around the recon fleet.

Each fleet consisted of a carrier, two heavy cruisers, three destroyers, and five frigates. They deployed their interceptors, which quickly filled space with a swarm of white ships, and headed on an intercept course towards the DE recon fleet.

This is Novus space; you will turn back now, or we will be forced to enact hostile measures. Any invasions attempted by you will fail, so we suggest you turn away and leave us alone.

Message sent to the Telors Ascendants:

I agree, we should work together.

I am currently waiting to acquire one of the Pretender’s wrecks to learn everything we can about them. With that knowledge we will be able to develop counters to their technology and easily defeat them. I believe we don’t really need to but it is better to be sure of the Enemy’s strengths before we pit ours against them.

You can participate in the recovery if you wish; it does not matter because I will readily share all data with you. We can create a task force of what is necessary to combat these infidels but I thing we only need to send a single destroyer. It has the capability to turn back them from what we have observed so far.

You are welcome to meet with me at your earliest convenience if you wish.

Captain Cornos of the scout craft Drominous stared at the massive ship tehy were watching at a distance.

"You sure they can not see us commander?

"Yes sir. Our cloaking capabilities are one of the most if not most superior technologies of the known universe. And besides they have not shown they have seen us." replied the commander.

"What have we learned so far of this planet killer?" asked the captain.

"Well...its massive sir. It has enough fire power to kill all life on pretty much any medium planet. So far we have not seen any weaknesses that would make our job easier in destroying those things.
I sent a cloaked probe to the fleet giving the information so far."

*********

"I tell you Admiral, we have to slow their fleet down period. They out number us by a large margin. I have sent a message back to the home world to have them bring up the new weaponery like targeting mines and more. The nearest planet of ours to here, Plaxis, has just finished their defense platforms
or fortresses(smaller versions of Death Star). Those massive things shall give these Dark Ones a run for their money," said Admiral John Highter.

"Yes, yes. Also send for the other fleets to the out lying sectors. We will need them to back us up if we have any issues. I want the combined fleet at red alert. Alright, thank you gentlemen," replied Vice Admiral.

He turned as they left the room, to a computer screen.

"Computer please prepare for message to Balrogga and Telros officals and fleets."

--Official Message to Our Potential Allies:--

I hope we will come to our own agreements and work together in this time of great need. I am Vice Admiral Josh Hecker of the Pheonox of the combined fleets of Earabia Empire. I am here to open our arms to friendship in stopping this hostile threat. I hope we can come to that point and stop this force that threatens our existance.
