This is an alt-hist RP, with a developed back ground and timeline. In short, it's an alternate 1914 where the CSA is independent, China is shattered, Scandinavia is united, Brazil is an empire, Central America is a single republic, etc.
There are still many nations left to pick, and some important ones needed (ex. Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire, etc)
Read the timeline, stop by, join up. We're starting once more nations are taken. 'Tis jolly good fun!

I would like to join as the game as Spain if I could?
Looking at the claims thread it appears that Spain is open. Just skim over the main timeline for the RP, read Spain's history, and then post your claim along with two historical facts about Spain that you have gathered from reading its history.

We still need players!
The Ottoman Empire seems to be open (the guy posted once, and that was his claim post), so that needs to be filled... and there are still other interesting countries to be picked, notably the british dominions (Canada, India, Australia...).
Playing as the Netherlands here!
It's quite an interesting RP, much less straightforward then a standard 1914 setting... the dynamics in America are very interesting.

Caladonn here, I'm the United States of America (the north of the real-life USA), and an admin on A House Divided.
Austria-Hungary has recently opened up, and we also have some other spaces, so there are still options open for anyone who wants to join. It's a really vibrant community with a lot of players willing to look beyond their best interest for the good of the forum, and a ton of activity.
