Священная война

"WHOSO dwelleth under the defence of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say unto the LORD, Thou art my hope, and my stronghold; my God, in him will I trust.
For he shall deliver thee from the snare of the hunter, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall defend thee under his wings, and thou shalt be safe under his feathers; his faithfulness and truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for any terror by night, nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the sickness that destroyeth in the noon-day.
A thousand shall fall beside thee, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Yea, with thine eyes shalt thou behold, and see the reward of the ungodly.
For thou, LORD, art my hope; thou hast set thine house of defence very high.
There shall no evil happen unto thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee in their hands, that thou hurt not thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt go upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou tread under thy feet.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him up, because he hath known my Name.
He shall call upon me, and I will hear him; yea, I am with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and bring him to honour.
With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation."

The Священная война("Holy War") is the name given to a future event when it's believed Prazinia forces will clash with the Army of the Antichrist and also the Prazinia Army Anthemn.

Prazinia military forces are divided into the active Army, Navy and Air Force, while independent civilian militias support the defense of its own territory. About 1% of Prazinia's population is in the active military forces, which receive a significant funding of 15% of its planned economy income. Their imported technology comes mainly from Russia and Israel with a few US, Canadian and South African military equipment around. There are 5% of reservists among the population and 10% are members of civilian militias where they have some form of military training every Sunday.

Army

Since it was born, the Prazinia Army was famous for the fanatic morale of its members, famed for keep fighting even under the most dire conditions unless they are ordered to retreat by a tactical officer, although their 1,200,000 active personnel in the Army is well-trained, well-fed and healthy. Only 600,000 of those are engaged in combat roles while the others perform support roles on logistics and maintenance. Its members are divided into Operational, which are those involved in the blunt of the combat or into logistics support, Tactical, which are those who accompany the Operational members and lead them through the battlefield and Strategic, which are those involved into the planning of the big picture, of logistics and combat, alongside troop deployment, and had 2 established main divisions, while others would be entirely flexible and created according to the necessity. Those are:

Infantry

In Prazinia, Infantry has a support role to the armored divisions and is large enough to perform its duties, and small enough to be entirely transported inside IFVs when necessary. Infantry forces are always divided into 30-men or smaller formations which coordinate among themselves. They use camouflage adequate for their region, with jungle and desert camo being quite common and they are identified by the black armbands with white crosses they wear. An infantry division can have any amount of the following troops. The simplest way combined arms squads are composed can be known by dividing their total numbers to 10,000.

General Infantry: The Prazinian GI is a reliable and fanatic soldier ready to sacrifice his life if necessary should the Holy War begin, however well equipped for battle. They have either AK-107 assault rifles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AK-107) or IMI Tavor TAR-21 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMI_Tavor) as primary weapons, and are protected by a Type III body armor made of GoldFlex and with MICH TC-2000 Combat Helmets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MICH_TC-2000_Combat_Helmet). Plus each of them have always in hand 2 M67 fragmentation grenades, 1 RKG-3EM anti-tank grenade and KM2000 as combat knives, also both rifles can be mounted with M203 grenade launchers.
Total: 200,000 General Infantry troopers. 50/50 TAR-21/AK107 ratio

Missile Infantry: Groups of troopers equipped with either the Russian 9M133 Kornet or 9K115-2 Metis-M anti-tank missile systems, coupled with other troopers using FIM-92 Stinger MANPADs, they are primarily intended to offer infantry support against tanks and low-altitude aircrafts. although the development of the white-phosphorous warhead had expanded their mission profile. They are protected with Type IIIA body armor and the same standard issue of General Infantry(standard to other forces).
Total: 20,000 Missile infantry Troops - 10,000 anti-tank and 10,000 anti-air

Heavy Infantry: Heavy Infantry forces seek to crush enemy infantry in advantageous positions and to give fire support to other infantry forces and combined armored vehicles. They are a balanced group of soldiers in several types of weapons, carrying mortars, anti-materiel rifles and machineguns, which are the RPK-74 light machinegun, PKM general purpose machinegun, Steyr IWS 2000 anti-materiel rifle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steyr_IWS_2000) and the 2B14 Podnos mortar. They are usually heavily protected with Type IV body armor.
Total: 50,000 Heavy Infantry troops, 20,000 mortar operators, 10,000 LMG operators, 10,000 GPMG operators, 10,000 anti-material rifle operators.

Sniper Infantry: Snipers are trained to operate stealthily even behind enemy lines and the division between a regular and special forces sniper is blurred and the standard weapon is the Dragunov SVDN sniper rifle with night sight. Troops which rely too heavily on "just following orders" can become very vulnerable when their leaders are eliminated and this is the primary function of snipers, with the secondary being psychological terror warfare. They are equipped with Type II body armor instead as they aren't expected to be in the blunt of combat.
Total: 20,000 snipers

Crusaders Corps: The Crusaders are a grouping of fireteams (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_team) and a special force formed by the selection of the best soldiers from Heavy Infantry and General Infantry forces, and are based on small 4-soldiers team which are composed of a rifleman with a scoped AK-107 or TAR-21 AR as scout, the leader and grenadier with a M203 attached to his AK-107 or TAR-21, the machinegunner equipped with a RPK-74 LMG and a support trooper carrying extra ammunition equipped with a TAR-21 AR. They also are intended to breach the enemy lines and are trained to be effective amphibious warfare soldiers and paratroopers. They use the same protective equipment of GIs, though also carry special drugs intended to reduce response to pain without numbing the senses.
Total: 2,000 crusaders

Infantry Support Crew: Medics, logistic assistants and many others in the backstage of the battlefield compose the support crew. For each soldier there is roughly one support individual providing anything from feeding to transport of ammo and healthcare. They use Type I armors and have IMI .50 AE Desert Eagles for personal defense, which are standard equipment for non combat military members.
Total: 292,000 support members. Number of Medics: 30,000(est. 1 for each 10 infantry troops), Number of Combat Engineers: 10,000.

Armored Divisions

After several successful negotiations with Israel, Prazinia has acquired, at a hefty price, the rights to manufacture and upgrade Israeli AFV technology only for Prazinia's internal use as long as they share technological improvements performed on their Merkavas. Also Russian AFVs were acquired. There are about 1,000 armored divisions of combined arms besides the logistical support.

AFV Support Crew: An assortment of mechanics among other individuals specialized in vehicular mechanics, tasked to keep all the armored divisions of Prazinia up and running, there is an estimated average of 4 of them for each active military vehicle.

Main Battle Tanks:

Prazinia have adopted the Merkava as the primary AFV platform, with T-95s being used primarily as modern assault tanks. Its common tactic is to have those tanks in several small line formations of at most 5 tanks per line with T-95s as the spearheads, followed by IFVs carrying several troopers behind them. Prazinia also adopted the Iron Fist active protection system which is installed in all IFVs and MBTs

Artillery

Saturating the enemy with artillery fire and having at least one artillery ready to support each one of the usually 1,000 small armored vehicle and infantry combined arms squads is part of Prazinian tactics.

Besides the ADATS, Prazinia has chosen the South African G6 howitzer and a few of the aging Russian 2S19 MSTA self-propelled artillery for positioning artillery in terrains where wheeled vehicles would not perform very well. Also the South African Valkiri rocket artillery complements its forces as the wheeled and lower profile counterpart to the ADATS.
