This exclusive interview with the Empress of Magic Sorcery, the first World Wide Interview ever given to the mass media. Not since Sakura's Apology Speech regarding the actions the Chancellor that stole power from her and not since Sakura's abduction will M.S. have ever received such coverage. This Interview will be able to be broadcasted to all and printed in all media. If enough follow up questions are sent to the M.S. News Station Sakura will do a follow up interview.

WITH OUT FURTHER ADO:

"Hello everyone, I'm Marty W.C. King, Independent Journalist and documenter. It's been my greatest ambition to interview world leaders, and I have the pleasure to interview my first. She is a girl of little notice and of little consequence. With M.S. mostly isolated in a mortal world it's hard for any nation to relate. But she's been admired by her people, her birthday is a national holiday in her country and she's been ruling since she was 12 years old. Her name is Sakura Nadeshiko Kinimoto. Sakura thank you for joining me."

"Pleasure."

"You have been called the most beloved Empress of your country. More than your predecessors, even more than your parents. You are the Seventh and most likely final Kinimoto to reign in the country."

"Or at least that is what it looks like right now."

"I understand you never know right? Now when you say you are the last, does that mean you are the last, and a new will be chosen?"

"Actually it means I am the last to Rule Under the Kinimoto name. When I do marry and I take my husband's name I will rule under that name. Or I should say we will both rule under that name."

"I see that makes it clear. Now you are the first Empress to have a birthday declared a national holiday, how is that, why are you so beloved by your people?"

"I like to think I'm a kind and fair ruler. I have made many progressive social and political changes in the country. I have made M.S. more open to those who are opressed in the world, such as nekos, kitsunes, homosexuals and so on, I have never place any restriction on the people's faith or lack thereof. "

"You aren't a Christian, you follow a more Magical Mythology or I guess...."

"No no it's okay...."

"But Christians have usually spearhead anti-witch craft."

"Christians of old. Not of new. Why should I punish the children of today for their parents of yesterday? It makes no sense to me. I see the hatred to witchcraft and sorcery not so much as bigotry but a fear of change. For some it's all happening to fast and it frightens them, Sorcerers introduced Color Photography in 1728 long before the rest of the world. Emperor Koto Mashimo knew it would change the world but he felt the world wasn't ready for it, so it's been limited. Change is hard no matter how good you are with it. It was hard for me when my parent's died that was a big change."

"Naturally your parent's death was a big shocking blow to you, how did you cope."

"It's almost like I went through the stages of death, I denied it, rejected it, felt depressed by it, then accepted it. Well maybe not all the stages but you get what I mean. I was scared to death, how could I rule the country? I'm such a simpleton, my father was a great man, my mother was a great woman. I doubt I'm the youngest in history of the nation or the world but I guess I'm worth recognizing."

"Being a magical nation in a mostly modern and mortal world you have been pretty isolated are you as isolated?"

"I'd say so. M.S. has only a few friends in the world, we have only acted in one Mortal Conflict. It's hard when so few reject your existence. I guess I know how God feels."

"(laugh) I see. I imagine you feel a sort of kinship with the Anthropeople."

"I guess I kind of do. We have several of them here. Even a few Elves."

"Really? Diverse. There is a lot of countroversy surrounding Kitsuneville's taxation of humans and the recent failure to repeal that, do you think it's fair?"

"I don't think so, but it is their sovereign choice to do so. We tax everyone equally in the Empire, and it's illegal to pay less on the basis of being Mortal or anything else."

"Well good for you. Regarding your neighbors in Xanadou, have you tried to out reach to them?"

"Frequently. It's tough though. Kurona is a very conservative nation and they don't like the idea of associating with magic."

"With the Kuronan Storm Crisis, there was some finger pointing towards your nation..."

"All unfounded. Weather control is the hardest skill to learn, I can't do it either. Why would we summon a giant storm to wreak havoc on them? Why would we? Even as a cruel joke Law Enforcement would know about it."

"Know about?"

"We track such acquired skills to prevent abuse. You have to have a license to do it. Even if you could do it you could never have it last as long as their storm lasted."

"Why didn't M.S. Send any aid?"

"Who says we didn't? We weren't able to give aid upfront but we still gave aid."

"I apologize I didn't mean to offend you or demonize you. Can we talk about your abduction?"

"I suppose so."

"Very frighting. What was that like?"

"Words can't describe it. It was hell. I understand the motive behind it, and I guess in some ways I find it tragically romantic, but not something I wish on anyone."

"Okay, with Chancellor Kotobuki who is know in Exile, what went on? I think so few know about that."

"What Kotobuki did, was exploit my time of great illness. I had fallen ill after excessive stress and well having no children, and not being married the Royal House feared I could die and leave the country leaderless. So they appointed Kotobuki to power which he used to show his hatred against mortals. He almost began a holocaust. Of course I duled him to stop him. I didn't kill him he's now in jail somewhere."

"What will you do to prevent that, from happening again?"

"Well we still have Chancellors to take over for unmarried unbearing rulers, but now they will be hand picked and a complete secret."

"What do you think about religion and government?"

"I think it should be up to the country. Personally I think many Secular Governments become just as oppressive as the religions they claim are supressfull, and I think it's silly hypocracy.. I mean baning one wearing a symbol of their faith? Why? I would never stop anyone from wearing a cross or a Yamaka. Why shouldn't they be allowed to discuss their faith in a public sector? Discussion is a vital part of democracy. Debate is a healthy part of democracy, debating whether God exists or not, should be a right for people to discuss. Nothing is wrong with a little theological debate here and there. I believe in a rightful separation of church and state but if the people feel religion belongs in their state, let them, if not let them. M.S. doesn't deny anyone a faith. There are Christians, Catholics, Protestants, Baptists, Mormons, Deists, Atheists and many more."

"Do you think religion is a scourage?"

"I think it's a tool. A tool that can be used for good and evil. When tornadoes or hurricanes strike, Christians give their time to help. Christians go to third world countries to feed people. Then there are those that kill in the name of religion. What happens when people desire to kill in the name of Secularism? Then what? Banning religion isn't going to unify your country or the world and it's not going to stop violence."

"What faith do you conforme to?"

"I belive in the God of the Fire Keroberos, and the God of the Moon, Yue. I belive the maiden of Shrines and I belive in the spirits of Kami from Shintoism. I don't think though I'm in a place to say, you're wrong and I'm right. That's just me."

"Changing subjects on a last thought, do you have a lover yet?"

"Aha, not yet. Soon I hope."

"Well thank you Sakura, it has been a great pleasure, I hope to speak with you more, I hope more media takes interest in you as a world leader, as an Empress beloved by her people. Kind, gentle, sweet."

Grand Prophet Xeroux sat in his rather depressing chamber of meditation. The few candles that lined the walls which were engraved with strange runes and hieroglyphics constantly flickered and cast strange shadows upon the walls of the chamber. It was a circular room. The walls a deep gray much like the stone floor. The twin doors to the chamber were of a dark brown wood.

Xeroux sat cross legged in the middle of the chamber. Eyes closed shut and arms crossed over his chest in the form of an x, resting on each other's opposite shoulder. He was quite a gruesome sight to behold. Nearly half a dozen rings pierced and lined the side of his left ear. The right ear had a single earring hanging from the lobe, the earring was a gruesome mockery of an 8 sided star (http://pcmedia.gamespy.com/pc/image/article/747/747222/iwarhammer-age-of-reckoningi-the-hordes-of-chaos-20061121050237360.jpg). Large, deep depressions of bags hung below his eyelids. And much like the rest of his kind he was pale to the point of near invisibility.

A heavy, thundering knock came to the chamber's doors and his eyes flew open. They were unnaturally large and one was crimson red, the other a jade green. He hissed curtly, "Who dares to interrupt my meditation?" The door creaked open and one of his guards meekly peeked his head inside. "M...my...my apologies, great prophet. But your brother says he has news for you." Xeroux narrowed his eyes and sighed frustratingly. He stood up to his full, imposing height of 6'8. He was unusually well-built for a male of his age amongst his people. He wore only a black silk kilt and two golden bracers upon his wrist.

The guard held the door open and stood at salute as Xeroux proceeded out, his face one of extreme anger and annoyance. His brother stood in the main hall, smaller and more frail than his eldest brother. His hair was shaggy raven, untamed locks unlike his brother who was bald. He smiled coolly and bowed before his brother. "What is it Damieon?" His brother chuckled softly and cleared his throat. "News has reached our ears, brother, of a young princess of a nation of profound skill in magic. However they study magics less...dark than ours." Xeroux narrowed his eyes and said frustratingly, "You interrupted me...for this? You want me to wage war upon a nation bathed in sunlight for their magics?" His brother shrunk a little and for a brief moment his smug demeanor grew a bit worried. "No, brother. That is your decision. But think of the glory! The vast magical treasures that could be ours!"

Xeroux's nostrils briefly flared and as his fist clenched, ready to meet the cheek of his brother, what he was saying began to sink in, and a devilish smile crept onto his face. "I will consider this..."

And with that, he returned to his chambers. He would have to check with his God as to whether he felt this would benefit their dark empire.
